Existing studies have focused on the behavior of the retaining wall equipped with expanded polystyrene(EPS)geofoam inclusions under semi-infinite surcharge loading rather than limited surcharge *** this paper,the failure mode and the earth pressure acting on the rigid retaining wall with EPS geofoam inclusions and granular backfills(henceforth referred to as EPS-wall),under limited surcharge loading are investigated through two-and three-dimensional model *** testing results show that different from the sliding of almost all the backfill in the EPS-wall under semi-infinite surcharge loading,only an approximately triangular backfill slides in the wall under limited surcharge *** distribution of the lateral earth pressure on the EPS-wall under limited surcharge loading is non-linear,and the distribution changes from the increase of the wall depth to the decrease with the increase of the limited surcharge *** approach based on the force equilibrium of a differential element is developed to predict the lateral earth pressure behind the EPS-wall subjected to limited surcharge loading,and its performance was fully validated by the three-dimensional model tests.

Na3V2（PO4）3（NVP） is gifted with fast Na+conductive NAsiCON *** it still suffers from low electronic conductivity and inadequate energy ***,a high-entropy modification strategy is realized by doping V3+site with Ga3+/Cr3+/Al3+/Fe3+/In3+simultaneously(***3V2-x（GaCrAlFeIn）x（PO4）3;x=0,0.04,0.06,and 0.08) to stimulate the V5+■V2+reversible multi-electron *** configuration high-entropy can effectively suppress the structural collapse,enhance the redox reversibility in high working voltage（4.0 V）,and optimize the electronic induced *** in-situ X-ray powder diffraction and in-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy tests efficaciously confirm the robust structu ral recovery and far lower polarization throughout an entire charge-discharge cycle during 1.6-4.3 V,***,the density functional theory calculations clarify the stronger metallicity of high-entropy electrode than the bare that is derived from the more mobile free electrons surrounding the vicinity of Fermi *** grace of high-entropy design and multi-electron transfer reactions,the optimal Na3V1.7（GaCrAlFeIn）0.06（PO4）3can exhibit perfect cycling/rate performances(90.97%@5000 cycles@30 C;112 mA h g-1@10 C and 109 mA h g-1@30 C,2.0-4.3 V).Furthermore,it can supply ultra-high185 mA h g-1capacity with fa ntastic energy density(522 W h kg-1) in half-cells（1.4-4.3 V）,and competitive capacity(121 mA h g-1) as well as energy density(402 W h kg-1) in full-cells（1.6-4.1 V）,demonstrating enormous application potential for sodium-ion batteries.

Low-permeability reservoirs are generally characterized by low porosity and low permeability. Obtaining high production using the traditional method is technologically challenging because it yields a low reservoir recovery factor. In recent years, hydraulic fracturing technology is widely applied for efficiently exploiting and developing low-permeability reservoirs using a low-viscosity fluid as a fracturing ***, the transportation of the proppant is inefficient in the low-viscosity fluid, and the proppant has a low piling-up height in fracture channels. These key challenges restrict the fluid(natural gas or oil) flow in fracture channels and their functional flow areas, reducing the profits of hydrocarbon *** study aimed to explore and develop a novel dandelion-bionic proppant by modifying the surface of the proppant and the fiber. Its structure was similar to that of dandelion seeds, and it had high transport and stacking efficiency in low-viscosity liquids compared with the traditional ***, the transportation efficiency of this newly developed proppant was investigated experimentally using six different types of fracture models(tortuous fracture model, rough fracture model,narrow fracture model, complex fracture model, large-scale single fracture model, and small-scale single fracture model). Experimental results indicated that, compared with the traditional proppant, the transportation efficiency and the packing area of the dandelion-based bionic proppant significantly improved in tap water or low-viscosity fluid. Compared with the traditional proppant, the dandelionbased bionic proppant had 0.1-4 times longer transportation length, 0.3-5 times higher piling-up height, and 2-10 times larger placement area. With the participation of large quantities of renewable energy in power system operations,their volatility and intermittence increases the difficulties and challenges of power system economic *** the uncertainty of renewable energy generation,based on the distributionally robust optimization method,a two-stage economic dispatch model is proposed to minimize the total operation *** this paper,it is assumed that the fluctuating of renewable power generation follows the unknown probability distribution that is restricted in an ambiguity set,which is established by utilizing the first-order moment information of available historical ***,the theory of conditional value-at-risk is introduced to transform the model into a tractable model,which we call robust counterpart *** on the stochastic dual dynamic programming method,an improved iterative algorithm is proposed to solve the robust counterpart ***,the convergence optimum can be obtained by the improved iterative algorithm,which performs a forward pass and backward pass repeatedly in each iterative ***,by comparing with other methods,the results on the modified IEEE 6-bus,118-bus,and 300-bus system show the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed model and method.

With the launch of the first civilian early-morning orbit satellite Fengyun-3E(FY-3E),higher demands are placed on the accuracy of radiative transfer simulations for hyperspectral infrared ***,several key issues are investigated in the ***,the accuracy of the fast atmospheric transmittance model implemented in the Advanced Research and Modeling System(ARMS)has been evaluated with both the line-by-line radiative transfer model(LBLRTM)and the actual satellite *** results indicate that the biases are generally less than 0.25 K when compared to the LBLRTM,while below 1.0 K for the majority of the channels when compared to the ***,during both comparisons,significant biases are observed in certain *** accuracy of Hyperspectral Infrared Atmospheric Sounder-II(HIRAS-II)onboard FY-3E is comparable to,and even superior to that of the Cross-track Infrared Sounder(CrIS)onboard ***,apodization is a crucial step in the processing of hyperspectral data in that the apodization function is utilized as the instrument channel spectral response function to produce the satellite channel-averaged *** further explore the difference between the apodized and unapodized simulations,sinc function is adopted in the fast transmittance *** is found that the use of sinc function can make the simulations fit the original satellite observations *** simulating with apodized observations,the use of sinc function exhibits larger deviations compared to the Hamming ***,a correction module is applied to minimize the impact of Non-Local Thermodynamic Equilibrium(NLTE)in the shortwave infrared *** is verified that the implementation of the NLTE correction model leads to a significant reduction in the bias between the simulation and observation for this band.

Improving flangeability of multiphase steel by increasing microstructural homogeneity

Multiphase microstructure significantly increases the strength,usually at the expense of flangeability because of lacking microstructure *** further improve the strength-flangeability of multiphase steel,the microstructural homogeneity was advanced by adjusting the hard martensite/austenite(M/A)*** strength-flangeability was measured via uniaxial tensile tests and hole expansion *** microstructures were characterized using a scanning electron microscope equipped with an electron backscatter diffraction detector and a transmission electron *** tests were supplementally used to quantitatively reveal the microstructural homogeneity of the *** show that the adjusted multiphase steel achieves an excellent ultimate tensile strength(~800 MPa)and flangeability(~135%hole expansion ratio).A promising homogeneous multiphase microstructure was obtained by controlling undercooled austenite transformed at about 600℃.This microstructure consists of soft polygonal ferrite,blocky bainitic ferrite,and hard M/A *** volume fraction of M/A islands is around 5%,and the average size is less than l *** nanoindentation analysis indicated that the participation of M/A islands impressively influenced the microstructural *** strain partition and better mechanical compatibility were present in the adjusted multiphase steel since the plasticity initiation started late,which resulted in a positive ***,avoiding M/A islands distributed in the chain along the rolling direction on the matrix hindered the possibility of voids coalescing into cracks and stabilized the flanging performance.
