Since backlash nonlinearity is inevitably existing in actuators for bidirectional stabilization system of allelectric tank,it behaves more drastically in high maneuvering *** this work,the accurate tracking control for bidirectional stabilization system of moving all-electric tank with actuator backlash and unmodeled disturbance is *** utilizing the smooth adaptive backlash inverse model,a nonlinear robust adaptive feedback control scheme is *** unknown parameters and unmodelled disturbance are addressed separately through the derived parametric adaptive function and the continuous nonlinear robust *** the unknown backlash parameters are updated via adaptive function and the backlash effect can be suppressed successfully by inverse operation,which ensures the system ***,the system disturbance in the high maneuverable environment can be estimated with the constructed adaptive law online improving the engineering ***,Lyapunov-based analysis proves that the developed controller can ensure the tracking error asymptotically converges to zero even with unmodeled disturbance and unknown actuator *** co-simulations and experiments illustrate the advantages of the proposed approach.

Background Deciduous forests in eastern North America experienced a widespread and intense spongy moth（Lymantria dispar） infestation in 2021. This study quantified the impact of this spongy moth infestation on carbon（C） cycle in forests across the great Lakes region in Canada, utilizing high-resolution（10 × 10 m2） Sentinel-2 satellite remote sensing images and eddy covariance（EC） flux data. Study results showed a significant reduction in leaf area index（LAI） and gross primary productivity（gPP） values in deciduous and mixed forests in the region in *** Remote sensing derived, growing season mean LAI values of deciduous（mixed） forests were 3.66（3.18）, 2.74（2.64）, and 3.53（2.94） m2m-2in 2020, 2021 and 2022, respectively, indicating about 24（14）% reduction in LAI, as compared to pre-and post-infestation years. Similarly, growing season gPP values in deciduous（mixed） forests were 1338（1208）, 868（932）, and 1367（1175） g C m-2, respectively in 2020, 2021 and 2022, showing about 35（22）% reduction in gPP in 2021 as compared to pre-and post-infestation years. This infestation induced reduction in gPP of deciduous and mixed forests, when upscaled to whole study area（178,000 km2）, resulted in 21.1（21.4） Mt of C loss as compared to 2020（2022）, respectively. It shows the large scale of C losses caused by this infestation in Canadian great Lakes *** The methods developed in this study offer valuable tools to assess and quantify natural disturbance impacts on the regional C balance of forest ecosystems by integrating field observations, high-resolution remote sensing data and models. Study results will also help in developing sustainable forest management practices to achieve net-zero C emission goals through nature-based climate change solutions.

Background: Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury (HIRI) stands as an unavoidable complication arising from liver surgery, profoundly intertwined with its prognosis. The role of lysine methyltransferase SET domain bifurcated 1 (SETDB1) in HIRI remains elusive, despite its confirmation as a potential therapeutic target for diverse diseases. Here, we investigated the mechanism by which SETDB1 regulated HIRI. Methods: RNA sequencing data were used to identify the expression and potential targets of SETDB1 through bioinformatics analysis. To elucidate the impact of SETDB1 on HIRI, both an in vivo model of HIRI in mice and an in vitro model of hepatocyte hypoxia/reoxygenation were established. Biochemical and histological analyses were used to investigate the influence of SETDB1 on liver damage mediated by HIRI. Chromatin immunoprecipitation and coimmunoprecipitation were implemented to explore the in-depth mechanism of SETDB1 regulating HIRI. Results: We confirmed that hepatocellular SETDB1 was up-regulated during HIRI and had a close correlation with HIRI-related inflammation and apoptosis. Moreover, inhibition of SETDB1 could mitigate HIRI-induced liver damage, inflammation, and apoptosis. Through our comprehensive mechanistic investigation, we revealed that SETDB1 interacts with apoptosis-signal-regulating kinase 1 (ASK1) and facilitates the methylation of its lysine residues. Inhibition of SETDB1 resulted in reduced phosphorylation of ASK1, leading to a marked suppression of downstream c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK)/p38 signaling pathway activation. The therapeutic effect on inflammation and apoptosis achieved through SETDB1 inhibition was nullified by the restoration of JNK/p38 signaling activation through ASK1 overexpression. Conclusions: The findings from our study indicate that SETDB1 mediates lysine methylation of ASK1 and modulates the activation of the ASK1–JNK/p38 pathway, thus involved in HIRI-induced inflammation and apoptosis. Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common malignancies and is a major cause of cancer-related mortalities worldwide(Forner et al.,2018;He et al.,2023).Sarcopenia is a syndrome characterized by an accelerated loss of skeletal muscle(SM)mass that may be age-related or the result of malnutrition in cancer patients(Cruz-Jentoft and Sayer,2019).Preoperative sarcopenia in HCC patients treated with hepatectomy or liver transplantation is an independent risk factor for poor survival(Voron et al.,2015;van Vugt et al.,2016).

Aging is a contributor to liver ***,the concept of liver aging has become prominent and has attracted considerable interest,but its underlying mechanism remains poorly *** our study,the internal mechanism of liver aging was explored via multi-omics analysis and molecular experiments to support future targeted *** aged rat liver model was established with D-galactose,and two other senescent hepatocyte models were established by treating Hepg2 cells with D-galactose and *** then performed transcriptomic and metabolomic assays of the aged liver model and transcriptome analyses of the senescent hepatocyte *** livers,genes related to peroxisomes,fatty acid elongation,and fatty acid degradation exhibited down-regulated expression with aging,and the hepatokine Fgf21 expression was positively correlated with the down-regulation of these *** senescent hepatocytes,similar to the results found in aged livers,FgF21 expression was also ***,the expressions of cell cycle-related genes were significantly down-regulated,and the down-regulated gene E2F8 was the key cell cycle-regulating transcription *** then validated that FgF21 overexpression can protect against liver aging and that FgF21 can attenuate the declines in the antioxidant and regenerative capacities in the aging *** successfully validated the results from cellular and animal experiments using human liver and blood *** study indicated that FgF21 is an important target for inhibiting liver aging and suggested that pharmacological prevention of the reduction in FgF21 expression due to aging may be used to treat liver aging-related diseases.

自然资源资产突显经济价值。国有(全民所有)自然资源资产损害是对自然资源资产国家所有权民事权益的侵害,且主要体现在经济性利益方面。通过分析自然资源资产损害救济的实践现状可以发现,虽然自然资源资产损害赔偿的部分实体内容在现行法上已有初步建构,但是自然资源资产经济价值的受关注程度仍然不高,相关主体对这一损害类型的认识亦尚不彻底。在生态环境损害赔偿制度运行已较为成熟的背景下,自然资源资产损害赔偿制度的建立仍具有必要性,但需充分明确其与前者相异的制度宗旨。基于政策与法理两大维度的论证可以明确,自然资源资产损害赔偿制度的实施目的在于实现自然资源资产经济价值的救济。自然资源资产损害赔偿制度在实施过程中,还需要与相关领域现有的损害救济机制增进协调衔接,以实现生态环境损害与自然资源资产损害全面、规范的法律救济。
