Nitric oxide（NO） is an im portant molecular involved in a wide range of physiological and pathological *** has dem onstrated that NO plays a contradictory role dependent on the concentration of ***,measuring the concentration of NO in living cells is essential to understanding whether NO functions as toxic or protective *** this paper,we presented an opti cal method that utilized a nitric oxide fluorescence probe to characterize the concentration of NO in HeLa cells and rat dorsal root ganglion（DRG） ne urons by confocal laser scanning *** addition,we o ptimized the measurement conditions for low photobleaching and *** results showed that there were differences between HeLa cells and DRG neurons on the concentration of NO.

Background:Liver cancer is a malignancy with high morbidity and mortality *** family E member 2(SERPINE2)has been reported to play a key role in the metastasis of many *** this study,we aimed to investigate the potential mechanism of SERPINE2 in liver cancer ***:The Cancer Genome Atlas database(TCGA),including DNA methy-lation and transcriptome sequencing data,was utilized to identify the crucial oncogene associated with DNA methylation and cancer progression in liver *** from the TCGA and RNA sequencing for 94 pairs of liver cancer tissues were used to explore the correlation between SERPINE2 expression and clin-ical parameters of *** methylation sequencing was used to detect the DNA methylation levels in liver cancer tissues and *** sequencing,cytokine assays,immunoprecipitation(IP)and mass spectrometry(MS)assays,protein stability assays,and ubiquitination assays were performed to explore the regulatory mechanism of SERPINE2 in liver cancer ***-derived xenografts and tumor organoid models were established to determine the role of SERPINE2 in the treatment of liver cancer using ***:Based on the public database screening,SERPINE2 was identified as a tumor promoter regulated by DNA ***2 expression was significantly higher in liver cancer tissues and was associated with the dismal prognosis in patients with liver ***2 promoted liver cancer metas-tasis by enhancing cell pseudopodia formation,cell adhesion,cancer-associated fibroblast activation,extracellular matrix remodeling,and ***/MS assays confirmed that SERPINE2 activated epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)and its downstream signaling pathways by interacting with ***,SERPINE2 inhibited EGFR ubiquitination and maintained its protein stability by competing with the E3 ubiquitin ligase,***,EGFR was activated in liver cancer cells after sorafenib treatment,and SER

CD36 is a highly glycosylated integral membrane protein that belongs to the scavenger receptor class B family and regulates the pathological progress of metabolic ***36 was recently found to be widely expressed in various cell types in the nervous system,including endothelial cells,pericytes,astrocytes,and ***36 mediates a number of regulatory processes,such as endothelial dysfunction,oxidative stress,mitochondrial dysfunction,and inflammatory responses,which are involved in many central nervous system diseases,such as stroke,Alzheimer’s disease,Parkinson’s disease,and spinal cord ***36 antagonists can suppress CD36 expression or prevent CD36 binding to its ligand,thereby achieving inhibition of CD36-mediated pathways or ***,we reviewed the mechanisms of action of CD36 antagonists,such as Salvianolic acid B,tanshinone IIA,curcumin,sulfosuccinimidyl oleate,antioxidants,and small-molecule ***,we predicted the structures of binding sites between CD36 and *** sites can provide targets for more efficient and safer CD36 antagonists for the treatment of central nervous system diseases.

Ubiquitously transcribed tetratricopeptide repeat on chromosome X(UTX),also known as lysine(K)-specific demethylase 6A(KDM6A),functions as a tumor suppressor gene or oncogene depending on the tumor type and ***,its tumor-suppressive mechanisms remain largely ***,we investigated the clinical significance and biological effects of UTX expression in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDA)and determined the potential mechanisms of its *** expression and its association with clinicopathologic characteristics of PDA patients were analyzed using *** mRNA and protein expression and their regulation in PDA cell lines were measured using quantitative polymerase chain reaction and Western blot *** biological functions of UTX in PDA cell growth,migration,and invasion were determined using gain-and loss-of-function assays with both in vitro and in vivo animal *** expression was reduced in human PDA cell lines and *** UTX expression was associated with poor differentiation and prognosis in *** UTX expression inhibited PDA proliferation,migration,and invasion in vitro and PDA growth and metastasis in vivo,whereas knockdown of UTX expression did the ***,UTX expression was trans-activated by GATA6 ***6-mediated PDA progression could be blocked,at least partially,by silencing UTX *** conclusion,loss of GATA6-mediated UTX expression was evident in human PDA and restored UTX expression suppressed PDA growth and ***,UTX is a tumor suppressor in PDA and may serve as a prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target.

Multi-modal histological image registration tasks pose significant challenges due to tissue staining operations causing partial loss and folding of *** neural network(CNN)and generative adversarial network(GAN)are pivotal inmedical image ***,existing methods often struggle with severe interference and deformation,as seen in histological images of conditions like Cushing’s *** argue that the failure of current approaches lies in underutilizing the feature extraction capability of the discriminator *** this study,we propose a novel multi-modal registration approach GAN-DIRNet based on GAN for deformable histological image *** begin with,the discriminators of two GANs are embedded as a new dual parallel feature extraction module into the unsupervised registration networks,characterized by implicitly extracting feature descriptors of specific ***,modal feature description layers and registration layers collaborate in unsupervised optimization,facilitating faster convergence and more precise ***,experiments and evaluations were conducted on the registration of the Mixed National Institute of Standards and technology database(MNIST),eight publicly available datasets of histological sections and the Clustering-Registration-Classification-Segmentation(CRCS)dataset on the Cushing’s *** results demonstrate that our proposed GAN-DIRNet method surpasses existing approaches like DIRNet in terms of both registration accuracy and time efficiency,while also exhibiting robustness across different image types.

Using the optical coherence tomography（OCT） images,the optical attenuation coefficients（μ_t） of human Laogong acupoint and non-acupoint tissues are measured after empty irradiation and 808-nm 100-mW irradiation for 10 min in vivo *** results show that there is no significant difference ofμ_t of Laogong acupoint and non-acupoint tissues after empty ***,there are significant differences ofμ_t between Laogong acupoint and non-acupoint tissues after laser irradiation at the power of 100 mW（statistical definition of probability p0.01）.The results of the pilot study indicate that the OCT could distinguish the acupoint from the surrounding tissues after irradiation with laser in vivo non-invasively.

Hazardous waste stream needs to be managed so as not to exceed stock-and rate-limited properties of its recipient *** co-pyrolysis of Chinese medicine residue(CMR)and textile dyeing sludge(TDS)and its bio-oil,biochar,and ash quality and quantity were characterized as a function of the immersion of K_(2)CO_(3),atmosphere type,blend ratio,and *** to the mono-pyrolysis of TDS,its co-pyrolysis performance with CMR(the comprehensive performance index(CPI))significantly improved by 33.9%in the N_(2)atmosphere and 33.2%in the CO_(2)*** impregnation catalyzed the co-pyrolysis at 370℃,reduced its activation energy by 77.3 kJ/mol in the N_(2)atmosphere and 134.6 kJ/mol in the CO_(2)atmosphere,and enriched the degree of coke gasification by 44.25%in the CO_(2)*** impregnation increased the decomposition rate of the co-pyrolysis by weakening the bond energy of fatty side chains and bridge bonds,its catalytic and secondary products,and its bio-oil yield by 66.19%.Its bio-oils mainly contained olefins,aromatic structural substances,and *** immersion of K_(2)CO_(3)improved the aromaticity of the copyrolytic biochars and reduced the contact between K and Si which made it convenient for Mg to react with SiO_(2)to form *** co-pyrolytic biochar surfaces mainly included-OH,-CH_(2),C=C,and *** main phases in the co-pyrolytic ash included Ca_(5)(PO_(4))_(3)(OH),Al_(2)O_(3),and magnesium-silicate.

Naringin exists in a wide range of Chinese herbal medicine and has proven to possess several pharmacological *** this study,PC12,HepG2 cells,and female Drosophila melanogaster were used to investigate the antioxidative and anti-aging effects of naringin and explore the underlying *** results showed that naringin inhibited H_(2)O_(2)-induced decline in cell viability and decreased,the content of reactive oxygen species in ***,naringin prolonged the lifespan of flies,enhanced the abilities of climbing and the resistance to stress,improved the activities of antioxidant enzymes,and decreased malondialdehyde *** also improved intestinal barrier dysfunction and reduced abnormal proliferation of intestinal stem ***,naringin down-regulated the mRNA expressions of inr,chico,pi 3k,and akt-1,and up-regulated the mRNA expressions of dilp2,dilp3,dilp5,and foxo,thereby activating autophagy-related genes and increasing the number of ***,the mutant stocks assays and computer molecular simulation results further indicated that naringin delayed aging by inhibiting the insulin signaling(IIS)pathway and activating the autophagy pathway,which was consistent with the result of network pharmacological predictions.
