Hydrological Component has been one of three essential parts of ESCAP/WMO Typhoon *** Working Group on Hydrology(WGH)established at TC 33rd Session in 2000 is the first working group among three basic components of the Committee,which has been repeatedly recognized as the most active component in the Committee who has integrated conducted successfully a number of cooperation projects and integrated actions among *** the past decade,WGH has implemented wide range activities under the framework of Strategic Plan of the *** achievement of those cooperation projects played very important roles in promoting the capacity building on hydrological monitoring,forecasting and early warning among *** paper introduced the Term of Reference for WGH and its high priorities,and summarized the activities conducted in recent *** paper also reviewed the progresses in TC Members on hydrological observation and monitoring network,hydrological data collection and transmission,hydrological information and forecasting,and establishment of flood forecasting *** paper also pointed out the development direction and the area to be enhanced for hydrological component in future,including:(1)application of QPE/QPF in flood forecasting and establishment of the coupled hydro-meteorological modeling;(2)development of impact-based,risk-based and community-based flood forecasting and warning system,including storm surge,urban flood,sediment disaster(flash flood,landslide and mudflow);and(3)application of internet of things(IOT),big data,cloud computing,and mobile internet in flood monitoring,forecasting and early warning,and better response,particularly in flood inundation mapping and QPE/QPF products application.

Both combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma(cHCCCCA)and cholangiolocarcinoma are rare primary liver ***-CCA is believed to originate from transformed hepatocellular carcinoma or liver stem/progenitor *** is characterized by ductular reaction-like anastomosing cords and glands resembling cholangioles or canals containing hepatocellular carcinoma components and adenocarcinoma *** to the 2019 revision of the World Health Organization criteria,a subtype with stem cell features as a subclassification of cHCC-CCA was abolished for lack of conclusive evidence of the stem cell origin *** led to the classification of cholangiolocarcinoma with hepatocytic differentiation as ***,cholangiolocarcinoma without hepatocytic differentiation is classified as a subtype of small-duct cholangiocarcinoma and is assumed to originate from the bile ***,we report the first case of double primary cHCC-CCA and cholangiolocarcinoma without hepatocytic differentiation in different hepatic segments of a cirrhotic *** believe this case supports the validity of the new World Health Organization criteria because the pathological finding of cHCC-CCA in this case shows the transformation of hepatocellular carcinoma to ***,this case may demonstrate that immature ductular cell stemness and mature hepatocyte cell stemness in hepatocarcinogenesis can coexist in the same *** results provide valuable insights into the mechanisms of growth,differentiation,and regulation of liver cancers.

Abscess in the inguinal hernial sac after peritonitis surgery: A case report

In this paper, we report an extremely rare case of an abscess that developed in the inguinal hernial sac after surgery for peritonitis. A 60-year-old man underwent laparoscopic low anterior resection for rectal cancer. One day after this operation, peritoneal drainage and ileostomy were performed for rectal anastomotic leakage. Five days after the second operation, computed tomography revealed an abscess in the left inguinal hernial sac. Subsequently, hernioplasty and resection of the inflamed sac were performed.

QUEST has a divertor configuration with a high and a negative n-index, and the problem of plasma vertical position instability control in QUEST is still under extensive study for achieving high efficiency plasma. The instability we considered is that the toroidal plasma moves either up or down in the vacuum chamber until it meets the vessel wall and is extinguished. The actively controlled coils （HCU and HCL） outside the vacuum vessel are serially connected in feedback with a measurement of the plasma vertical position to provide stabilizing control. In this work, a robust controller is employed by using the loop synthesis method, and provides robust stability over a wide range of n-index. Moreover, the gain of the robust controller is lower than that of a typical proportional derivative （PD） controller in the operational frequency range; it indicates that the robust controller needs less power consumption than the PD controller does.

Esophagogastric junctional adenocarcinoma is commonly treated as esophageal adenocarcinoma(EAC)and has dramatically increased in Western countries for several *** similar trend has been observed in Asian countries(not in China).Barrett’s esophagus(BE)is a widely accepted precursor of *** advances of next-generation sequencing could provide researchers with a better understanding of genetic and epigenetic alterations in the carcinogenesis of *** this review,we have summarized the recently reported major genetic and epigenetic alterations in both BE and *** hedgehog/bone morphogenetic protein axis,which is a key signaling for esophageal development,plays an important role in BE intestinal *** nucleotide polymorphisms related to esophageal organogenesis,such as FOXF1 and FOXP3,are frequently detected in BE *** the progression of BE to adenocarcinoma,lacking of normal function of TP53 and CDKN2A by loss of heterozygosity(LOH),mutation,or promoter methylation has been frequently *** at 9p(coding CDKN2A)is an earlier event to EAC carcinogenesis compared to that at 17q(coding TP53)*** order to further elucidate the pathogenesis of BE and EAC,it will be necessary to analyze these genetic/epigenetic alterations in combination with clinical data in a large-scale cohort.

Currently, in the course of serious environmental problems where the cause is anthropogenic, such as global wanning, not only the technology and policies but also the promotions of pro-environmental behavior are required. However, previous studies reported a gap between high environmental awareness and behavior. So to promote this practice, it is necessary to clarify the determinants that lead to practice. Because of the rapid economic growth in developing countries, including Vietnam, pollution problems and energy consumption are of major importance. This study aims to propose methods to promote pro-environmental practices based on a questionnaire and statistical analysis that investigated university students in Vietnam＇s Ho Chi Minh city. From the factor analysis, in actions to do with the power-saving behavior of standby power and home electronics, and the use of air conditioning, four evaluation criteria including effectiveness, cost feasibility, convenience, and social norms are extracted. The covariance structure analysis showed that the evaluation of convenience represented the strongest causal relation to a given power-saving action, and the action, in turn, can lead to improvements in most practical activities so as to enhance their convenience. Finally, several methods to save energy are proposed based on the results of the questionnaire.

Photovoltaic properties of Cu_2O-based heterojunction solar cells using n-type oxide semiconductor nano thin films prepared by low damage magnetron sputtering method

We improved the photovoltaic properties of Cu_2O-based heterojunction solar cells using n-type oxide semiconductor thin films prepared by a sputtering apparatus with our newly developed multi-chamber system. We also obtained the highest efficiency(3.21%) in an AZO/p-Cu_2O heterojunction solar cell prepared with optimized pre-sputtering conditions using our newly developed multi-chamber sputtering system. This value achieves the same or higher characteristics than AZO/Cu_2O solar cells with a similar structure prepared by the pulse laser deposition method.

Robotic gastrectomy(RG)is increasingly performed,particularly in East *** articulated devices,surgeons are able to perform every procedure more comfortably and meticulously,which makes RG ideal from the surgeon’s ***,it is still unclear whether it is a suitable treatment strategy from the patient’s viewpoint,due to the lack of solid evidence obtained from randomized controlled *** feasibility of RG has been demonstrated in many retrospective comparative studies,which showed similar trends,including relatively less estimated blood loss and longer operation time with RG than laparoscopic gastrectomy(LG),equivalent number of harvested lymph nodes and similar length of postoperative hospital stay between RG and ***,considering the higher medical expenses associated with RG,its superiority in terms of long-term survival outcomes will need to be confirmed for it to be accepted more widely.
