Experimental study on 830 MPa grade pipeline steel containing chromium

The diversity of microstructure and properties of 830 MPa grade pipeline steel containing chromium was investigated by optical microscope and transmission electron microscopy. The main microstructures were multiple configurations, containing lath bainite and granule bainitc. Mechanical properties test results showed that the yield strength and tensile strength improved with increasing chromium content. The toughness and elongation decreased at the same time, so temper process was introduced. Appling proper temper parameters, the values of toughness and elongation were improved dramatically, and the strength decreased slightly.

Giant cell arteritis(GCA)is a commonly occurring large vacuities characterized by angiopathy of medium and large-sized *** granulomatous formation plays an important role in the pathogenesis of *** of T cell lineages and signaling pathways in GCA have revealed the essential role of T cells in the pathology of GCA.T cells are the dominant population present in GCA ***4+T cell subtypes that are present include Th1,Th2,Th9,Th17,follicular helper T(Tfh)cells,and regulatory T(Treg)***8 T cells can primarily differentiate into cytotoxic CD8+T lymphocytes and Treg *** instrumental part of GCA is the interplay between dendritic cells,macrophages and endothelial cells,which can result in the vascular injury and the characteristics granulomatous infiltrates *** the inflammatory loop of GCA,several signaling pathways have been reported to play an essential role in recruiting,activating and differentiating T cells,including T-cell receptor(TCR)signaling,vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)-Jagged-Notch signaling and the Janus kinase and signal transducer and activator of transcription(STAT)pathway(JAK-STAT)*** this review,we have focused on the role of T cells and their potential signaling mechanism(s)that are involved in the pathogenesis of GCA.A better understanding of the role of T cells mediated complicated orchestration during the homeostasis and the changes could possibly favor developments of novel treatment strategies against immunological disorders associated with GCA.

Previous studies have mostly focused on the effect of anthropogenic heating（AH） on air pollution events. However, few studies have investigated the impact of AH on the warm-sector precipitation over South China. By using the Weather Research and Forecasting model（WRF）coupled with an urban canopy model with appropriate AH release values, the warm-sector heavy rainfall event that occurred over the Pearl River Delta（PRD） during 8 May 2014 was *** results show that the warm-sector precipitation of the PRD is sensitive to the impact of *** affecting the convection in the initiation of precipitation, AH can reduce the total precipitation of urban areas by approximately 10%. The possible mechanism by which AH influences the warm-sector heavy precipitation is described as follows： AH induced local convergence shifts towards the border of the PRD and intensified the convection and precipitation therein, by rearranging the thermal distributions of the flow field. In addition, AH changed the local convergence within the urban PRD areas, which was weakened by the homogenous urban thermal environment, and thereby decreased the total urban precipitation.

Porous ionic liquids have demonstrated excellent performance in the field of separation,attributed to their high specific surface area and efficient mass ***,task-specific protic porous ionic liquids(PPILs)were prepared by employing a novel one-step coupling neutralization reaction strategy for extractive *** single-extraction efficiency of PPILs reached 75.0%for ***,adding aromatic hydrocarbon interferents resulted in a slight decrease in the extraction efficiency of PPILs(from 45.2%to 37.3%,37.9%,and 33.5%),indicating the excellent extraction selectivity of *** experimental measurements and density functional theory calculations reveal that the surface channels of porous structures can selectively capture dibenzothiophene by the stronger electrophilicity(Eint(HS surface channel/DBT)=-39.8 kcal mol^(-1)),and the multiple extraction sites of ion pairs can effectively enrich and transport dibenzothiophene from the oil phase into PPILs throughπ...π,C-H...πand hydrogen bonds ***,this straightforward synthetic strategy can be employed in preparing porous liquids,offering new possibilities for synthesizing PPILs with tailored functionalities.

Silicon and Oxygen Isotopic Composition of Igneous Rocks from the Eastern Manus Basin

This paper reports silicon and oxygen isotopes of 20 kinds of igneous rocks and their major elements from the eastern Manus Basin. Combining silicon and oxygen isotopic data from other studies, we suppose that both δ30Si and δ18O values increase with the increasing of SiO2 content. It means that the fractionation of silicon and oxygen isotopes are affected by the silica content. The positive correlation between CaO/Al2O3 ratios and MgO and that between Si/Al and SiO2 content indicate that clinopyroxene is the predominant mineral phase in our samples. We suppose that the fractionation of silicon and oxygen isotopes are influenced by mineral fractional crystallization. Probably, it is due to their different silicon and oxygen bridges. In this study, the δ30Simean value=-0.17‰±0.17‰ and δ18Omean value= +6.07‰±0.57‰ are higher than normal δ30Si and δ18O values of mantle, and we propose that these igneous rocks in the eastern Manus Basin are affected by hydrothermal alteration.

In the middle Okinawa Trough （MOT）,rhyolites have been typically considered as products ofcrystallization differentiation of basaltic magma as afeature of bimodal volcanism. However, the evidence isinsufficient. This paper compared chemical trends ofvolcanic rocks from the MOT with fractional crystal-lization simulation models and experimental results andutilized trace element modeling combined with Rayleighfractionation calculations to re-examine fractional crystal-lization processes in generating rhyolites. Both qualitativeand quantitative studies indicate that andesites, rather thanrhyolites, originate by fractional crystallization frombasalts in the MOT. Furthermore, we established twobatch-melting models for the MOT rhyolites and proposedthat type 1 rhyolites are produced by remelting of andesiteswith amphiboles in the residue, while type 2 rhyolites arederived from remelting of andesites without residualamphiboles. It is difficult to produce melts with a SiO2content ranging from 62% to 68% either by magmaticdifferentiation from basalts or by remelting of andesites,and this difficulty might help account for the compositionalgap （Daly gap） for bimodal volcanism in the OkinawaTrough.

We computationally investigated the molecular aggregation effects on the excited state deactivation processes by considering both the direct vibrational relaxation and the S0/S1 surface crossing,that is,the minimum energy conical intersection(MECI).Taking classical AIEgens bis(piperidyl)anthracenes(BPAs)isomers and the substituted silole derivatives as examples,we show that the deformation ofMECI always occurs at the atom with greater hole/electron ***,the energetic and structural changes of MECI caused by substituent has been *** find that effective substituent such as the addition of the electron-donating groups,which can polarize the distribution of hole/electron density of molecules,will lead to the pyramidalization deformation of MECI occurring at the substituent position and simultaneously reduce the required energy to reach *** MECI is sterically restricted by the surrounding molecules in solid phase,which remarkably hinders the non-radiative decay through surface *** quantitative computational assessments of the fluorescence quantum efficiency for both solution and solid phases,we elucidate the role of MECI and its dependence on the substitutions through pyramidalization deformation,which give rise to the aggregation-induced emission(AIE)phenomenon for 9,10-BPA,to aggregation-enhance emission(AEE)behavior for 1,4-BPA,and to conventional aggregation-caused quenching(ACQ)for 1,*** further verify such mechanism for siloles,for which we found that the substitutions do not change the AIE *** findings render a general molecular design approach to manipulating the aggregation effect for optical emission.

In recent years,the discovery of the Jurassic oil reservoirs in the Western Thrust Belt of the Ordos Basin reveals that the Jurassic formation in this area has huge oil and gas *** pre-Jurassic paleo-geomorphology plays a vital role in the formation of the Jurassic oil *** this paper,the impression method is applied to restore the pre-Jurassic paleogeomorphology of the Hongde area in the western Ordos Basin,using a large number of drilling,logging,well testing and the latest 3D seismic *** pre-Jurassic paleogeomorphological units in the study area can be categorized into five groups,including ancient channel valley,ancient terrace,slope,interchannel mound,and low residual mound *** oil reservoirs are mainly distributed in highland areas such as slope belts and low residual mounds,the main areas where hydrocarbons *** addition,the branch ditches in the study area are developed to the southeast and merged into the Ganshan ancient *** sandstone in the confluence area of the branch gully is well sorted and connected under frequent scouring by the *** sand bodies of good connectivity therefore form a drainage system for long-term hydrocarbon *** formation of the Jurassic reservoirs in the study area is mainly affected by sedimentary facies,deposition location,and hydrocarbon migration pathway(or fault)of pre-Jurassic *** results from this study can be useful for the prediction of the Jurassic sweet spots in the western margin of the Ordos Basin.

Immobilization and transformation of co-existing arsenic and antimony in highly contaminated sediment by nano zero-valent iron

Arsenic(As)and antimony(Sb)are usually coexistent in mine wastes and pose a great threat to human *** As immobilization by nano zero-valent iron(n ZVI)is promising,however,the stabilization for co-occurring As and Sb is not ***,the immobilization and transformation of As and Sb in n ZVI-treated sediments were evaluated using complementary leaching experiments and characterization *** sediment samples from a gold-antimony deposit revealed the co-existence of ultrahigh As and Sb at 50.3 and 14.9 g/kg,*** results show that As was more efficiently stabilized by n ZVI than Sb,which was primarily due to the soluble fraction that was readily absorbed by n ZVI of As was *** the n ZVI treatment proceeds,the oxidation and reduction of As and Sb occur simultaneously as evidenced by XPS *** primary oxidant,hydroxyl radicals,was detected by EPR studies,proving the occurrence of n ZVI induced Fenton *** study sheds light on differences in the interaction and immobilization of n ZVI with Sb and As in co-contaminated sediments.
