Process Optimization and Reaction Mechanism of Removing Copper From an Fe-Rich Pyrite Cinder Using Chlorination Roasting

The aim is to remove copper from a pyrite cinder by optimizing the chlorination roasting process using re-sponse surface methodology （RSM） and the reaction mechanism of chlorination roasting based on thermodynamic calculation was discussed. A quadratic model was suggested by RSM to correlate the key parameters, namely, dos-age of chlorinating agent, roasting temperature and roasting time to the copper volatilization ratio. The results indi- cate that the model is well consistent with the experimental data at a correlation coefficient （R2） of 0.95, and the dosage of chlorinating agent and roasting temperature both have significant effects on the copper volatilization ratio. However, a roasting temperature exceeding 1170 ~C decreases the volatilization ratio. The optimum conditions for removing copper from the cinder were identified as chlorinating agent dosage at 5%, roasting temperature at i155.10 ℃ and roasting time of 10 min; under Such a conditiom a copper volatilization ratid of 95.16% Was a- chieved from the cinder. Thermodynamic calculation shows that SiO2 in the pellet plays a key role in the chlorine re-lease from calcium chloride, and the chlorine release reactions cannot occur without it.

BACKGROUND Thoracic para-aortic lymph node(TPLN)recurrence in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is rare and its impact on survival is *** studied survival in patients with ESCC who developed TPLN *** To study the survival in patients with ESCC who developed TPLNs *** Data were collected retrospectively for 219 patients who had undergone curative surgery for ESCC during January 2012 to November 2017 and who developed recurrences(36.29%of 604 patients who had undergone curative surgeries for ESCC).The patients were classified into positive(+)and negative(-)TPLN metastasis *** also investigated TPLN recurrence in 223 patients with ESCC following definitive chemoradiotherapy during *** propensity score matching(PSM)and survival estimation,factors predictive of overall survival(OS)were explored using a Cox proportional hazards *** Among the patients with confirmed recurrence,18 were TPLN(+)and 13 developed synchronous distant *** PSM,TPLN(+)was associated with worse recurrence-free(P=0.00049)and OS[vs TPLN(-);P=0.0027],whereas only the intergroup difference in recurrence-free survival remained significant after PSM(P=0.013).The Cox analysis yielded similar *** the patients who had received definitive chemoradiotherapy,3(1.35%)had preoperative TPLN enlargement and none had developed *** TPLN metastasis is rare but may be associated with poor survival.

The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) consists of a complex system of tubules, lamellae, and flattened vesicles, and has a variety of morphologies in different cells. It is believed to play a central role in the biosynthesis of cholesterol, phospholipids, steroids, prostaglandins, membrane and secretory proteins[1]. Cancer cells have different functions and ultrastmcture from their original cells[2-4]. The studies on ER membrane system of cancer cells are of great significance in understanding their malignant behavior. In the present work, the ultrastructural characteristics of ER in human colorectal carcinoma cell lines with different differentiation degrees were investigated.

The recombinant plasmid pBIBSa containing the HBsAg DNA fragment was transferred into Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain LBA4404 directly. Ginseng cells were transfected with A. tumefaciens carrying pBIBSa and the ginseng cell lines carrying HBsAg-S gene were obtained. The presence of target gene in the transfect cells was confirmed by PCR and RT-PCR. A clear band at the site of 700 bp was observed by agarose electrophoresis analysis of the samples containing the target gene. HBsAg expressed by the transgenic ginseng cells was detected by Western blot. Maximum expression levels of 184 ng HBsAg/g FW and 0. 009% of the total soluble proteins were observed by ELISA. HBsAg in ginseng cells was located both on the cell membrane and in the nuclei.
