This paper proposes the bandwidth efficient scheme that uses higher order constellation when Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) is *** scheme for WCDMA system is developed in ad hoc settings eliminating any central Node B or base station. The concept behind the paper is that by adaptive change in modulation scheme of the system one can achieve higher data rates within the fixed available *** WCDMA system using BPSK one bit per symbol can be transmitted,but by use of 64QAM scheme one can send six bits per symbol but at higher Signal to Noise ratio(SNR).Hence a trade-off is available between SNR of channel and the modulation schemes deployed. Stanford University Interim(SUI) channels are used to simulate the Multipath fading wireless *** Ratio Combining(MRC) Rake receiver is used in conjunction with chip level equalizer system for enhanced performance in channels with higher order modulation and high delay spread.

Classification of Diabetic Macular Edema and Its Stages Using Color Fundus Image

Diabetic macular edema （DME） is a retinal thickening involving the center of the macula. It is one of the serious eye diseases which affects the central vision and can lead to partial or even complete visual loss. The only cure is timely diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of the disease. This paper presents an automated system for the diagnosis and classification of DME using color fundus image. In the proposed technique, first the optic disc is removed by applying some preprocessing steps. The preprocessed image is then passed through a classifier for segmentation of the image to detect exudates. The classifier uses dynamic thresholding technique by using some input parameters of the image. The stage classification is done on the basis of anearly treatment diabetic retinopathy study （ETDRS） given criteria to assess the severity of disease. The proposed technique gives a sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of 98.27%, 96.58%, and 96.54%, respectively on publically available database.

Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL)is a class of Machine Learning(ML)that combines Deep Learning with Reinforcement Learning and provides a framework by which a system can learn from its previous actions in an environment to select its efforts in the future *** has been used in many application fields,including games,robots,networks,*** creating autonomous systems that improve themselves with *** is well acknowledged that DRL is well suited to solve optimization problems in distributed systems in general and network routing ***,a novel query routing approach called Deep Reinforcement Learning based Route Selection(DRLRS)is proposed for unstructured P2P networks based on a Deep Q-Learning *** main objective of this approach is to achieve better retrieval effectiveness with reduced searching cost by less number of connected peers,exchangedmessages,and reduced *** simulation results shows a significantly improve searching a resource with compression to k-Random Walker and Directed ***,retrieval effectiveness,search cost in terms of connected peers,and average overhead are 1.28,106,149,respectively.

Epidemiology and Clinical Characteristics of the First 500 Positive Cases of COVID-19. A Multicenter Retrospective Study across the Najran Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Introduction: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a viral infection that was first reported in Wuhan, China on 31 December 2019. This study aimed to clarify the epidemiology and clinical characteristics of 500 first COVID-19 in the Najran region, Saudi Arabia. Material and Methods: A multi-center retrospective study design was employed to study the first 500 confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Najran province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Data were collected from 1 March 2020 until 1 July 2020 and provided by the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) department from the hospitals. Included cases were confirmed using real-time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Demographic, vital signs, symptoms, incubation period, travel or exposure history medical history, and comorbidities were collected. Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the association between potential risk factors associated with symptoms occurrence of COVID-19. Results: The median age of 500 COVID-19 patients was 31 years;333 (66.6%) males. A total of 34 (6.8%) were Healthcare Workers (HCWs). Out of the 500 patients, 180 (36%) had at least one comorbid disease. The most common symptoms on admission were fever 281 (56.2%), cough 266 (53.2%), shortness of breath 166 (33.2%), and malaise 113 (22.6%). Most of the patients presented with mild disease severity 310 (62%). Nationality, age, and Diabetes Miletus (DM) were independently and significantly associated with being symptomatic (P β = 2.968, CI = 2.002 - 4.400, P = 0.0010). For every 1 year increase in age, the risk of being symptomatic increased by 5.8% (β = 1.045, CI = 1.033 - 1.058, P = 0.001). Compared with non-DM patients, DM patients had a 4.05 times higher risk (β = 4.05, CI = 2.188 - 7.507, P = 0.0
