该文利用2006—2018年日本上市公司与银行的匹配数据,研究了公司温室气体(GHG)排放对银行贷款的影响。之前的研究结果表明,气候风险虽然对于公司债券、银团贷款定价具有显著影响,但经济意义不显著。该文从贷款金额的角度进一步考察了银行的贷款行为。研究发现,银行显著减少了对高排放公司的贷款。此外,银行对信贷风险较低的借款公司的温室气体排放更为敏感,即高温室气体排放意味着长期的高信贷风险。本刊编译此篇国际清算银行(BIS)的工作论文,以期为读者带来相关启发。

＜正＞The objective of this paper is to clarify the relationship between lighting environment and insecure factors and to propose how residents contribute to their local community in order to enhance safety and security of street at *** this report,the subjective experiment about the lighting environment was conducted in a residential *** experiments were carried out under the two lighting conditions;one is only street light and the other one is street light and porch light,12 subjects estimated the perceptions about safety and security at night in these lighting conditions. The horizontal road surface illuminance did not satisfy the criteria for security lighting in the guideline issued by Japan Security Systems Association and the vertical illuminance on the face did not meet the recommended value under the two lighting *** the porch light turned on,the perceptions about safety and security at night were improved.

Given a simple graph G with n vertices and m edges, the spanning tree problem is to find a spanning tree for a given graph G. This problem has many applications, such as electric power systems, computer network design and circuit analysis. For a simple graph, the spanning tree problem can be solved in O(log n) time with O(m+n) processors on the CRCW PRAM. In general, it is known that more efficient parallel algorithms can be developed by restricting classes of graphs. In this paper, we shall propose a parallel algorithm which runs O(log n) time with O(n/log n) processors on the EREW PRAM for constructing on proper circle trapezoid graphs.

Objective:Prostate cancer in elderly patients was formerly treated with androgen deprivation *** the latter of the 1990s new technologies were introduced into treatments,then strategies have *** aimed to observe the outcomes of elderly patients treated during transition period and compare each stage with ***:During 2008 and 2010,255 patients with prostate cancer older than 75 years were sequentially *** exception of patients with bone and/or visceral metastasis,outcomes of 199 patients with localized and locally advanced stages were *** records were obtained by the end of ***:In total,122(61%),28(14%),37(19%)and 12(6%)of patients were in stages T1c-T2a,T2b-c,T3 and T4,*** generally presented with abnormal screening or lower urinary tract ***-one percent of patients received androgen deprivation therapy as monotherapy and 22% of the radiation-treated patients added androgen deprivation *** in stage T1c-T2a and T2b-c showed a favorable *** cancer death appeared in patients with T3 and T4 during observation ***-seven percent of patients died from prostate cancer-independent complications:pneumonia,heart disease,and brain vascular *** is similar to that of Japanese elderly male *** remarkable side effects from androgen deprivation therapy were noticed.

Histogenesis of uterine leiomyosarcoma has been controversial. It is generally believed that uterine leiomyosarcomas arise de novo, rather than from any precursor lesions. We report an unusual case of spontaneous rupture of leiomyosarcoma arising in pre-existing calcified uterine leiomyoma, which has been monitored over the years after menopause. This case also suggests that spontaneous intraperitoneal hemorrhage associated with malignant transformation of uterine leiomyoma, although rare, should be considered in postmenopausal women presenting with rapid growing uterine mass.

Although there have been many reports on the toxicity of tobacco smoke, fewer studies have reported the relationship between the smoke and carcinogenesis of head-and-neck cancers. It is assumed that direct stimulations due to tobacco smoke, such as chemical and mechanical stimulations, strongly influence the epithelium of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, pharynx, and larynx. We investigated the influence of active and passive cigarette smoking on head-and-neck cancers. The subjects were 283 head-and-neck cancer patients examined at the otolaryngology department of Showa University Northern Yokohama Hospital in a 9-year and 2-month period from April 2001 to June 2010, in whom the presence or absence of active and passive cigarette smoking could be confirmed in detail. The active and passive smoking rates and the Brinkman index were retrospectively investigated according to the primary cancer site, gender, and histopathological classification. The active and passive smoking rates were high (about 90%) in patients with hypopharyngeal, laryngeal, and cervical esophageal cancers, and the Brinkman index was high in all. Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) patients accounted for a high ratio of the head-and-neck cancer patients, and the active and passive smoking rates were significantly higher in SCC than in non-squamous cell carcinoma (non-SCC) patients (p < 0.0003). The active and passive smoking rates and the Brinkman index were high in patients with head-and-neck cancers in regions receiving strong direct stimulation from tobacco smoke, and the Brinkman index was also high in these patients, suggesting that carcinogenesis of head-and-neck cancers is strongly influenced by direct tobacco smoke stimulation.
