The objective of this study is to examine the effect of low-magnitude, high-frequency(LMHF) loading, and anti-osteoporosis medications such as parathyroid hormone(PTH) and bisphosphonates on peri-implant bone healing in an osteoporosis model, and to assess their combined effects on these processes. Thirteen-week-old ovariectomized rats(n = 44) were divided into three groups:PTH, alendronate, and saline. After 3 weeks of drug administration, titanium implants were inserted into the tibiae. Each group was subdivided into two groups: with or without LMHF loading via whole-body vibration(50 Hz at 0.5 g, 15 min per day, 5 days per week). Rats were killed 4 weeks following implantation. Removal torque test, micro-CT analyses(relative gray(RG) value, water = 0,and implant = 100), and histomorphometric analyses(bone-to-implant contact(BIC) and peri-implant bone formation(bone volume/tissue volume(BV/TV))) were performed. Removal torque values and BIC were significantly differed by loading and drug administration(ANOVA). Post hoc analysis showed that PTH-treated groups were significantly higher than the other drug-treated groups. BV/TV was significantly enhanced by PTH administration. In cortical bone, RG values were significantly increased by *** trabecular bone, however, RG values were significantly increased by PTH administration. These findings suggest that LMHF loading and PTH can act locally and additively on the bone healing process, improving the condition of implant osseointegration.

Aims:No solid evidence-based opinion was raised regarding predictors of the degree of ascites reduction with *** retrospective cohort study aimed to examine whether serum copeptin concentration is a useful predictor of ***:The study population consisted of 80 patients with liver cirrhosis treated with tolvaptan for hepatic ascites effusions at Nara Medical University Hospital from May 2014 to December ***-three patients who lost>1.5 kg of body weight in the first week after starting tolvaptan were classified as good responders and the remaining 37 as poor *** laboratory parameters were measured immediately before the start of tolvaptan therapy to examine factors associated with predicting its ***:In the univariate analysis,no significant differences with respect to age(67.6 vs.69.8 years,p>0.05),sex,body mass index(24.8 vs.23.7 kg/m^(2),p>0.05),Child-Pugh score(9.4 vs.9.7,p>0.05),and Model for End-stage Liver Disease score(11 vs.12,p>0.05)were found between the two ***,aspartate transferase and alanine transaminase(ALT)levels were significantly lower in the good response group(52.9±56.3 vs.68.8±50.7 U/L,py higher(57.1±15.0 vs.45.8±16.0 pg/mL,pysis,serum copeptin concentration and ALT were statistically significant factors(pysis of the association between the tolvaptan efficacy for refractory ascites and pretreatment serum copeptin concentration showed that a copeptin concentration cutoff of 45.9 pg/mL could predict treatment efficacy with a sensitivity,specificity,and area under the curve of 76.7%,59.5%,and 0.71%,***:Serum copeptin concentration may be a predictor of tolvaptan efficacy for refractory ascites effusion in Japanese patients with liver cirrhosis.

Purpose: Relationship between CT or MR images and histological findings, especially vascularity, has not been adequately evaluated. The purpose of this study was to investigate correlation between contrast enhancement on CT and MRI and histological findings in posterior mediastinal ganglioneuromas. Materials and Methods: Contrast-enhanced (CE) CT (n = 11) and CE MRI (n = 5) of 12 patients with ganglioneuroma were reviewed. The attenuation, signal intensity, and dynamic enhancement pattern of the tumors were evaluated. The vascularity was histologically evaluated by the numbers of vessels. Results: Enhancement on CE-CT was none, mild, moderate, and high enhancement in 5 (45%), 2 (18%), 3 (27%), and 1 (9%) of the 11 lesions, respectively. Dynamic MRI showed mild, moderate and high enhancement in 3 (60%), 1 (20%) and 1 (20%) cases, respectively. The level of contrast enhancement correlated well only with the number of capillary vessels (r = 0.79, P = 0.0037). Conclusion: The posterior mediastinal ganglioneuromas sometimes show insufficient enhancement particularly on CE-CT. The level of enhancement might correlate with the amount of capillary vessels.

A 76-year-old woman with hepatitis C cirrhosis presented with tarry stools and *** endoscopy demonstrated bleeding duodenal varices in the second portion of the ***-enhanced computed tomography revealed markedly tortuous varices around the wall in the *** afferent veins appeared to have developed,and the right ovarian vein draining into the inferior vena cava was detected as an efferent ***-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration (BRTO) of the varices using cyanoacrylate was successfully performed in combination with the temporary occlusion of the portal *** no previous publications have used cyanoacrylate as an embolic agent for BRTO to control bleeding duodenal varices,this strategy can be considered as an alternative procedure to conventional BRTO using ethanolamine oleate when numerous afferent vessels that cannot be embolized are present.

目的比较乳腺癌患者全身骨显像中平面显像（PI）和通过计算机辅助诊断系统（CAD）获得的图像（VSBONE）对于探测骨转移的诊断能力。方法共81例女性乳腺癌患者（中位年龄56岁,32～79岁）纳入该研究。静脉注射740 MBq;Tc;-羟基亚甲基二膦酸盐后行全身骨显像,显像共分析1 066处骨（颅骨162处,脊柱和骨盆657处,胸骨和肋骨223处,上肢18处及下肢6处）。由2位放射科医师独立分析单独PI、单独VSBONE和PI-VSBONE联合显像诊断骨转移的结果,最终结果由MRI证实。采用Fisher确切概率法和McNemar法分析各方法的灵敏度及特异性。2位医师诊断结果的一致性采用Kappa检验进行评估。结果 43例患者（442处阳性病灶）被确诊为骨转移。PI、VSBONE及PI-VSBONE的灵敏度分别为40.8%、50.2%和61.8%,特异性分别为97.8%、97.5%和97.6%;Kappa值分别为0.62、0.69和0.77。结论 VSBONE检测乳腺癌患者骨转移的灵敏度优于PI,但仍需对CAD系统进行改进,以减少假阴性。

目的采用动脉自旋标记(ASL)检测蛛网膜下腔出血术后的症状半球。方法研究包括18例动脉瘤所致蛛网膜下腔出血的病人,4例术后出现症状性血管痉挛。全部病人在第9～10天进行ASL检查(单次ASL)。9例病人分别在第1～2天、9～10天和13～21天进行连续ASL检查(连续ASL),7例病人在第4～7天也进行了检查。测量大脑中动脉供血区后部的脑血流量(CBF),估算同侧/对侧的CBF比例。通过受试者操作特征(ROC)曲线分析症状半球和其他部位之间的差异。结果单次ASL显示,CBF第9～10天和CBF同侧/对侧第9～10天在症状半球明显低于非症状半球(P<0.001)。连续ASL显示,CBF第4～7天较CBF第1～2天明显降低,CBF第9～10天较CBF第4～7天明显降低,而CBF第13～21天较CBF第9～10天明显升高。单次ASL的ROC分析显示CBF第9～10天的曲线下面积为0.95,明显高于CBF同侧/对侧第9～10天(P<0.001)。连续ASL的ROC分析显示CBF第9～10天的曲线下面积为0.93,明显高于CBF第9～10天/第1～2天和CBF同侧/对侧第9～10天(P<0.001)。结论单次ASL显示症状半球较非症状半球CBF明显减低。连续ASL可显示蛛网膜下腔出血后CBF随时间的变化。
