The catalytic asymmetric(3+3)cycloaddition between different 2-indolylmethanols has been established,in which a series of chiral indole-fused six-membered heterocycles were constructed in high yields with excellent *** work not only has established the first catalytic asymmetric cycloaddition between different 2-indolylmethanols but also provided a powerful strategy for constructing enantioenriched indole-fused six-membered ***,biological evaluation discovered some products with promising antitumor ***,theoretical calculations performed on the reaction pathway and activation mode provide an in-depth understanding of this catalytic asymmetric(3+3)cycloaddition among different 2-indolylmethanols,which will advance the understanding of the chemistry of indolylmethanols.

The release of AlphaFold2 has sparked a rapid exp.nsion in protein model *** protein structure retrieval is crucial for the analysis of structure models,while measuring the similarity between structures is the key challenge in structural *** existing structure alignment algorithms can address this challenge,they are often ***,the state-of-the-art approach involves converting protein structures into three-dimensional(3D)Zernike descriptors and assessing similarity using Euclidean ***,the methods for computing 3D Zernike descriptors mainly rely on structural surfaces and are predominantly web-based,thus limiting their application in studying custom *** overcome this limitation,we developed Fp-Zernike,a user-friendly toolkit for computing different types of Zernike descriptors based on feature *** simply need to enter a single line of command to calculate the Zernike descriptors of all structures in customized ***-Zernike outperforms the leading method in terms of retrieval accuracy and binary classification accuracy across diverse benchmark *** addition,we showed the application of Fp-Zernike in the construction of the descriptor database and the protocol used for the protein Data Bank(pDB)dataset to facilitate the local deployment of this tool for interested *** demonstration contained 590,685 structures,and at this scale,our system required only 4-9 s to complete a *** experiments confirmed that it achieved the state-of-the-art accuracy ***-Zernike is an op.n-source toolkit,with the source code and related data accessible at https://***/biocode/tools/BT007365/releases/0.1,as well as through a webserver at http://***/.

prostate cancer(pCa)is considered as an age-related disease and accounts for the most prevalence of urinary malignancies in men.1 We previously analyzed the cellular landscape of tumor microenvironment in pCa patients,where we found that cancer-related fibroblasts might play an important role in tumorigenesis and the development of pCa and tumor-associated macrophage(TAM)could function synergistically with them.2 Thus,we further integrated single-cell and bulk RnA sequencing with meta-analysis to specify the prognostic effect of TAM on pCa and construct molecular subgroups and predictive index to guide clinical practice.

In this paper,we study mulit-dimensional oblique reflected backward stochastic differential equations(RBSDEs)in a more general framework over finite or infinite time horizon,corresp.nding to the pricing problem for a type of real *** prove that the equation can be solved uniquely in L^(p)(1p≤2)-space,when the generators are uniformly continuous but each comp.nent taking values ***,if the generator of this equation fulfills the infinite time version of Lipschitzian continuity,we can also conclude that the solution to the oblique RBSDE exists and is unique,despite the fact that the values of some generator comp.nents may affect one another.

Biosynthesizing Au nanoparticles(Aunps)from gold-bearing scraps provides a sustainable method to meet the urgent demand for ***,it remains challenging to efficiently biosynthesize Aunps of which the diameter is less than 10 nm from a trace amount of Au^(3+)concentration at the level of tens ***,we constructed an exoelectrogenic cell(eCell)-conductive reduced-graphene-oxide aero-gel(rGA)biohybrid by assembling Shewanella sp.S1(SS1)as living biocatalyst and rGA as conductive ad-sorbent,in which Au^(3+)at trace concentrations would be enriched by the adsorption of rGA and reduced to Aunps through the extracellular electron transfer(EET)of *** regulate the size of the synthe-sized Aunps to 10 nm,the strain SS1 was engineered to enhance its EET,resulting in strain RS2(pYYD-p tac-ribADEHC&pHG13-p_(bad)-omcC in SS1).Strain RS2 was further assembled with rGA to construct the RS2-rGA biohybrid,which could synthesize Aunps with the size of 7.62±2.82 nm from 60 ppm Au^(3+)*** eCell-rGA biohybrid integrated Au^(3+)adsorption and reduction,which enabled Aunps biosyn-thesis from a trace amount of Au^(3+).Thus,the required Au^(3+)ions concentration was reduced by one or two orders of magnitude compared with conventional methods of Aunps *** work devel-oped an Aunps size regulation technology via engineering eCell’s EET with synthetic biology methods,providing a feasible approach to synthesize Aunps with controllable size from trace level of gold ions.

Background There is no appropriate tool to predict recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH)resp.nse before therapy initiation in short-stature children in late *** current study aimed to explore the associations between magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)stages of the knee growth plates and rhGH resp.nse in short-stature children in late *** In this prospective cohort study,short-stature children in late puberty were treated with rhGH and followed up for 6 *** proposed a novel knee MRI staging system according to the growth plate states of distal femurs or proximal tibias and divided the particip.nts into three groups:unclosed growth plate group,marginally closed growth plate group,and nearly closed growth plate *** primary outcomes were height gain and growth velocity(GV),which were assessed three months *** Fifty particip.nts were enrolled,including 23 boys and 27 *** and height gain after 6 months of rhGH therapy decreased successively in the three groups with an increased degree of growth plate fusion,especially when grouped by proximal tibias(GV_(1-3 mon)from 9.38 to 6.08 to 4.56 cm/year,GV_(4-6 mon)from 6.75 to 4.92 to 3.25 cm/year,and height gain from 4.03 to 2.75 to 1.95 cm,all pplates indep.ndently served as a significant variable for GV and height gain after therapy,especially when grouped by proximal tibias(all pnclusion The MRI staging method is expected to be an effective tool for predicting rhGH resp.nse before therapy initiation in short-stature children in late puberty.

Aspergillus niger is an efficient cell factory for organic acids production,particularly l-malic acid,through genetic ***,the traditional method of collecting *** spores for inoculation is labor-intensive and *** our study,we used the CRISpR-Cas9 system to replace the promoter of brlA,a key gene in Aspergillus conidiation,with a xylose-inducible promoter xylp in l-malic acid-producing *** strain RG0095,generating strain *** induced with xylose in submerged liquid culture,brlAxylp exhibited significant upregulation of conidiation-related *** induction allowed us to easily collect an abundance of brlAxylp spores(>7.1×106/mL)in liquid xylose ***,the submerged conidiation approach preserves the substantial potential of *** as a foundational cellular platform for the biosynthesis of organic acids,including but not limited to l-malic *** summary,our study offers a simplified submerged conidiation strategy to streamline the preparation stage and reduce labor and material costs for industrial organic acid production using Aspergillus species.

A novel design of micro-aluminum(μAl)powder coated with bi-/tri-comp.nent alloy layer,such as:ni-p and ni-p-Cu(namely,Al@ni-p,Al@ni-p-Cu,respectively),as combustion catalysts,were introduced to release its huge energy inside Al-core and promote rapid pyrolysis of ammonium perchlorate(Ap)at a lower temperature in aluminized *** microstructure of Al@ni-p-Cu demonstrates that a three-layer ni-p-Cu shell,with the thickness of~100 nm,is uniformly supported byμAl carrier(fuel unit),which has an amorphous surface with a thickness of~2.3 nm(catalytic unit).The peak temperature of Ap with the addition of Al@ni-p-Cu(3.5%)could significantly drop to 316.2℃ at high-temperature thermal decomposition,reduced by 124.3℃,in comparison to that of pure Ap with 440.5℃.It illustrated that the introduction of Al@ni-p-Cu could weaken or even eliminate the obstacle of Ap pyrolysis due to its reduction of activation energy with 118.28 kJ/*** laser ignition results showed that the ignition delay time of Al@ni-p-Cu/Ap mixture with 78 ms in air is shorter than that of Al@ni-p/Ap(118 ms),decreased by 33.90%.Those astonishing breakthroughs were attributed to the synergistic effects of adequate active sites on amorphous surface and oxidation exothermic reactions(7597.7 J/g)of Al@ni-p-Cu,resulting in accelerated mass and/or heat transfer rate to catalyze Ap pyrolysis and ***,it is believed to provide an alternative Al-based combustion catalyst for propellant designer,to promote the development the propellants toward a higher energy.
