Tetracycline repressor(TetR)family regulators(TFRs)are the largest group of DNA-binding transcription factors and are widely distributed in bacteria and *** play vital roles in controlling the expression of various genes and regulating diverse physiological ***,a TFR protein Pseudomonas virulence regulator A(PvrA),was identified from Pseudomonas aeruginosa as the transcriptional activator of genes involved in fatty acid utilization and bacterial ***,we show that PvrA can simultaneously bind to multiple pseudo-palindromic sites and upregulate the expression levels of target ***-electron microscopy(cryo-EM)analysis indicates the simultaneous DNA recognition mechanism of PvrA and suggests that the bound DNA fragments consist of a distorted B-DNA double *** crystal structure and functional analysis of PvrA reveal a hinge region that secures the correct domain motion for recognition of the promiscuous ***,our results showed that mutations disrupting the regulatory hinge region have differential effects on biofilm formation and pyocyanin biosynthesis,resulting in attenuated bacterial ***,these findings will improve the understanding of the relationship between the structure and function of the TetR family and provide new insights into the mechanism of regulation of *** virulence.

The island-based energy storage is of urgent need for the grid construction combined with renewable energy for offshore *** direct use of seawater as a substitute of deionized water shows its great promise for aqueous zinc-ion batteries in such a specific ***,the metal corrosion,dendrite growth,and hydrogen evolution stand out in the harsh seawater *** address these challenges,we proposed a corrosion inhibitor that was effective in the field of metal anti-corrosion,2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid（PBTCA）,to inhibit anode corrosion caused by Cl-and active H2O molecules by forming a stable solid electrolyte interphase（SEI） film in the seawater-based ***,PBTCA can chelate with other cations present in seawater,such as Ca2+and Mg2+,thereby preventing the aggregation and precipitation of sparingly soluble *** a current density of5 mA cm-2,the seawater-based zinc-ion battery exhibited an exceptional cycle life exceeding 2000 h and maintained a Coulombic efficiency of over 99.6% after 2000 ***,the performance of the Zn||ZVO full battery was significantly enhanced with the addition of *** study provides a simple,low-cost,and efficient approach for making the seawater-based zinc-ion batteries useable.

UAV-assisted data collection for wireless sensor networks with dynamic working modes

Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)is a cornerstone of Internet of Things(IoT)and has rich application *** this work,we consider a heterogeneous WSN whose sensor nodes have a diversity in their Residual Energy(RE).In this work,to protect the sensor nodes with low RE,we investigate dynamic working modes for sensor nodes which are determined by their RE and an introduced energy ***,we employ an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)to collect the stored data from the heterogeneous *** aim to jointly optimize the cluster head selection,energy threshold and sensor nodes’working mode to minimize the weighted sum of energy con-sumption from the WSN and UAV,subject to the data collection rate *** this end,we propose an efficient search method to search for an optimal energy threshold,and develop a penalty-based successive convex approximation algorithm to select the cluster *** we present a low-complexity iterative approach to solve the joint optimization problem and discuss the implementation *** results justify that our proposed approach is able to reduce the energy consumption of the sensor nodes with low RE significantly and also saves energy for the whole WSN.

Nitrogen(N)fertilizer application is essential for crop-plant growth and *** genetic loci associated with N-use efficiency(NUE)could increase wheat yields and reduce environmental pollution caused by *** subjected a panel of 389 wheat accessions to N and chlorate(a nitrate analog)treatments to identify quantitative trait loci(QTL)controlling NUE-associated traits at the wheat seedling *** the panel with a 660K single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)array,we identified 397 SNPs associated with N-sensitivity index and chlorate inhibition *** SNPs were merged into 49 QTL,of which eight were multi-environment stable QTL and 27 were located near previously reported QTL.A set of 135 candidate genes near the 49 QTL included TaboX(F-box family protein)and TaERF(ethylene-responsive transcription factor).A Tabox mutant was more sensitive to low-N stress than the wild-type *** developed two functional markers for Hap 1,the favorable allele of TaboX.

Highly effective design of high GFA alloys with different metalbased and various components by machine learning

OCTA在DR患者黄斑血流密度观察中的应用

目的:应用光学相干断层扫描血管成像技术(optical coherence tomography angiography,OCTA)观察糖尿病视网膜病变(diabetic retinopathy,DR)患者黄斑血流密度的改变和临床意义。方法:收集28例47眼DR患者纳入研究组(DR组),依据DR国际临床分期标准将DR患眼分为两组,其中非增殖组(NPDR组)19例30眼和增殖组(PDR组)11例17眼。取年龄相匹配的27例46眼健康眼作为对照组。所有入选受试者均应用OCTA对黄斑区视网膜行3mm×3mm范围模式扫描,获得4个层面黄斑血流密度图,同时测量3个层面黄斑血流密度,包括表层视网膜层、深层视网膜层和脉络膜毛细血管层。结果:DR组表层视网膜、深层视网膜及脉络膜层毛细血管层黄斑血流密度分别为0.4963±0.0840、0.4798±0.0801、0.5290±0.0528;其中NPDR组分别为0.5064±0.0843、0.4983±0.0766、0.5345±0.0529,而PDR组分别为0.4786±0.0830、0.4473±0.0778、0.5192±0.0526;正常对照组分别为0.5919±0.0704、0.6301±0.0527、0.5691±0.0169。对照组分别和NPDR组、PDR组、DR组表层视网膜、深层视网膜、脉络膜毛细血管层的黄斑血流密度比较,差异有显著统计学差异(P<0.001)。NPDR组和PDR组之间黄斑血流密度在深层视网膜比较,差异有统计学意义(P=0.029),但在表层视网膜、脉络膜毛细血管层比较,差异无统计学意义(P=0.236、0.268)。结论:DR患者黄斑血流密度在表层视网膜、深层视网膜和脉络膜毛细血管层均较正常对照组下降,提示黄斑区视网膜及脉络膜均存在缺血现象。OCTA可以量化黄斑血流变化的情况,为早期监测糖尿病的进展、发现DR提供有效手段。

Stromal lenticule addition keratoplasty with corneal crosslinking for corneal ectasia secondary to FS-LASIK:a case series

●AIM:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of stromal lenticule addition keratoplasty(SLAK)with corneal crosslinking(CXL)on patients with corneal ectasia secondary to femtosecond laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis(FS-LASIK).●METHODS:A series of 5 patients undertaking SLAK with CXL for the treatment of corneal ectasia secondary to FS-LASIK were followed for *** lenticules were collected from patients undertaking small incision lenticule extraction(SMILE)for the correction of *** a stromal lenticule was aimed at improving the corneal thickness for the safe application of crosslinking and compensating for the thin cornea to improve its mechanical strength.●RESULTS:All surgeries were conducted successfully with no significant *** best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)ranged from 0.05 to 0.8-2 before *** pre-operational total corneal thickness ranged from 345-404μm and maximum keratometry(Kmax)ranged from 50.8 to *** the combination surgery,both the corneal keratometry(range 55.9 to 92.8)and total corneal thickness(range 413-482μm)significantly *** out of 5 patients had improvement of corneal biomechanical parameters(reflected by stiffness parameter A1 in Corvis ST).However,3 patients showed decreased BCVA after surgery due to the development of irregular astigmatism and transient *** the onset of corneal edema right after SLAK,the corneal topography and thickness generally stabilized after 3mo.●CONCLUSION:SLAK with CXL is a potentially beneficial and safe therapy for advanced corneal *** work needs to address the poor predictability of corneal refractometry and compare the outcomes of different surgical modes.
