The choice of a type of combustion technology to be used for heat or power generation depends on economic,technical,operational and fuel availability *** benefits associated with the evolving market driven by the fluidised bed combustion(FBC)technology cannot be overlooked especially when gauged at 65 GWth of worldwide installed capacity alongside added benefits of handling fuel variation,low pollutant emissions and high combustion *** or biomass waste will continue to have a vital role to play in the future FBC technology-based power *** often contains high levels of inorganic species that can form sticky agglomerates posing a significant risk to boiler operation resulting in unscheduled *** added complexity of the behaviour of the fuel and bed material mix highlights the requirement for simulation models to identify agglomeration to help improve the overall performance and reliability of FBC *** resolve this problem,this research devised a simulation strategy for the detection of agglomeration using the Eulerian–Eulerian *** developed modelling strategy is validated with the experimental data available in literature for two-dimensional simplified geometry of a pilot-scale fluidised bed *** model results were found promising and robust to predict bed defluidisation times and other parameters consistent with the experimental data.

目的:探讨Osterix蛋白在关节软骨中的表达强度对膝关节骨性关节炎形态学变化的影响。方法:选取44例因膝关节骨性关节炎行人工全膝关节置换术的患者,取术中去除的股骨髁软骨组织,磨损较重的一侧为负重区(实验组),磨损较轻的一侧为非负重区(对照组)。通过HE染色评估软骨组织形态学变化,再将负重区软骨分为中度磨损组和重度磨损组,通过免疫组织化学检测并比较Osterix蛋白在三组中的表达强度。结果:大体观察下,负重区标本表面粗糙,大量软骨丢失,软骨下骨板暴露,色泽灰暗,甚至可见溃疡灶形成;非负重区标本表面光滑平整,富有光泽,软骨完整且呈乳白色,未见溃疡灶。通过HE染色后可见负重区软骨面残缺不齐,过渡层出现裂隙,软骨细胞分布紊乱,潮线不完整,软骨下骨排列不均;非负重区组软骨表面较为平整,软骨细胞数量多,胞质完整均匀。免疫组化染色可见Osterix蛋白在非负重区软骨中显著表达,在负重区软骨表达较少。统计学分析显示,重度磨损组Osterix蛋白阳性表达率小于中度磨损组,且两者均小于非负重区组(均P<0.05)。结论:Osterix蛋白参与了关节软骨退行性变过程,其在软骨细胞中的表达强度会随着软骨磨损程度的增加而减弱。

Detection and management of oligometastatic disease in oesophageal cancer and identification of prognostic factors: A systematic review

The recent era of fast optical manipulation and optical devices owe a lot to exciton-polaritons being lighter in mass,faster in speed and stronger in nonlinearity due to hybrid light-matter *** room temperature existence of polaritons in two dimensional materials opens up new avenues to the design and analysis of all optical devices and has gained the researchers ***,spin-selective optical Stark effect is introduced to form a waveguide effect in uniform community of polaritons,and is used to realize polarization modulation of *** proposed device basically takes advantage of the spin-sensitive properties of optical Stark effect of polaritons inside the WS_(2)microcavity so as to guide different modes and modulate polarization of *** is shown that polaritonic wavepacket of different mode profiles can be generated by changing intensity of the optical Stark beam and the polarization of polaritons can be controlled and changed periodically along the formed waveguide by introduction birefringence that is sensitive to polarization degree of the optical Stark beam.

Oblique propagation of nonlinear ion-acoustic cnoidal waves in magnetized electron–positron–ion plasmas with nonextensive electrons

Theoretical investigation of nonlinear electrostatic ion-acoustic cnoidal waves(IACWs) is presented in magnetized electron–positron–ion plasma with nonextensive electrons and Maxwellian positrons. Using reductive perturbation technique, Korteweg–de Vries equation is derived and its cnoidal wave solution is analyzed. For given plasma parameters, our model supports only positive potential(compressive) IACW structures. The effect of relevant plasma parameters(viz., nonextensive parameter q, positron concentration p, temperature ratio σ,obliqueness l3) on the characteristics of IACWs is discussed in detail.

Effect of CoSi_2 buffer layer on structure and magnetic properties of Co films grown on Si(001) substrate

Buffer layer provides an opportunity to enhance the quality of ultrathin magnetic films. In this paper, Co films with different thickness of Co Si2 buffer layers were grown on Si（001） substrates. In order to investigate morphology, structure,and magnetic properties of films, scanning tunneling microscope（STM）, low energy electron diffraction（LEED）, high resolution transmission electron microscopy（HRTEM）, and surface magneto-optical Kerr effect（SMOKE） were used. The results show that the crystal quality and magnetic anisotropies of the Co films are strongly affected by the thickness of Co Si2 buffer layers. Few Co Si2 monolayers can prevent the interdiffusion of Si substrate and Co film and enhance the Co film quality. Furthermore, the in-plane magnetic anisotropy of Co film with optimal buffer layer shows four-fold symmetry and exhibits the two-jumps of magnetization reversal process, which is the typical phenomenon in cubic（001） films.

Effect of surface structure on the catalytic behavior of Ni:Cu/Al and Ni:Cu:K/Al catalysts for methane decomposition

Methane decomposition using nickel, copper, and aluminum （Ni：Cu/Al） and nickel, copper, potassium, and aluminum （Ni：Cu：K/Al） modified nano catalysts has been investigated for carbon fibers, hydrogen and hydrocarbon production. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）, static secondary ion mass spectrometry （SSIMS）, thermal gravimetric analysis （TGA）, Fourier transform infrared （FT-IR）, secondary electron microscopy/X-ray energy dispersive （SEM-EDX）, and temperature programmed desorption （TPD） were used to depict the chemistry of the catalytic results. These techniques revealed the changes in surface morphology and structure of Ni, Cu, Al, and K, and formation of bimetallic and trimetallic surface cationic sites with different cationic species, which resulted in the production of graphitic form of pure carbon on Ni：Cu/Al catalyst. The addition of K has a marked effect on the product selectivity and reactivity of the catalyst system. K addition restricts the formation of carbon on the surface and increases the production of hydrogen and C2, C3 hydrocarbons during the catalytic reaction whereas no hydrocarbons are produced on the sample without K. This study completely maps the modified surface structure and its relationship with the catalytic behavior of both systems. The process provides a flexible route for the production of carbon fibers and hydrogen on Ni：Cu/Al catalyst and hydrogen along with hydrocarbons on Ni：Cu：K/Al catalyst. The produced carbon fibers are imaged using a transmission electron microscope （TEM） for diameter size and wall structure determination. Hydrogen produced is COx free, which can be used directly in the fuel cell system. The effect of the addition of Cu and its transformation and interaction with Ni and K is responsible for the production of CO/CO2 free hydrogen, thus producing an environmental friendly clean energy.
