In this editorial we comment on the manuscript describing a case of adenocarcinoma mixed with a neuroendocrine carcinoma of the gastroesophageal *** neuroendocrine and non-neuroendocrine neoplasms of the gastrointestinal system are rare heterogeneous group of tumors characterized by a high malignant potential,rapid growth,and poor *** to the rarity of these cancers,the standard therapy is poorly *** diagnosis of these tumors is based on combination of morphological features,immunohistochemical and neuroendocrine and epithelial cell *** endocrine and epithelial cell components can act independently of each other and thus,careful grading of each component separately is *** cancers are aggressive in nature and the potential of each component has paramount importance in the choice of treatment and *** of the organ of origin,these tumors portend poor prognosis with increased proportion of neuroendocrine *** services and strategies are required for the management of these mixed malignancies to provide the best oncological *** etiopathogenesis of these mixed tumors remains obscure but poses interesting *** briefly discuss a few salient points in this editorial.

In this editorial we comment on the manuscript,describing management and surveillance strategies in synchronous and metachronous,gastric and colon *** or metachronous primary malignancies at different sites of the gastrointestinal tract pose a unique diagnostic and therapeutic *** services and strategies are required for the management of multiple site primary malignancies,to provide the best oncological *** this study highlights the dual cancers in 76 sporadic cases,the authors excluded 55 patients due to combination of factors which includes;incomplete clinical data,genetic syndrome,gastric stump *** addition,the authors did not elaborate if any patients presented with signet ring cell morphology,E-cadherin mutations or presence of inflammatory bowel *** and mutational errors and epithelial field defects from chronic inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract are important when considering synchronous gastric and colonic *** will briefly discuss these in this editorial.

the global obesity pandemic has resulted in a rise in the prevalence of male obesity-related secondary hypogonadism(MOSH)with emerging evidence on the role of testosterone *** aim to provide an updated and practical approach towards its *** did a comprehensive literature search across MEDLINE(via PubMed),Scopus,and Google Scholar databases using the keywords“MOSH”OR“Obesity-related hypogonadism”OR“testosterone replacement therapy”OR“Selective estrogen receptor modulator”OR“SERM”OR“Guidelines on male hypogonadism”as well as a manual search of references within the articles.A narrative review based on available evidence,recommendations and their practical implications was *** weight loss is the ideal therapeutic strategy for patients with MOSH,achievement of significant weight reduction is usually difficult with lifestyle changes alone in real-world ***,androgen administration is often necessary in the management of hypogonadism in patients with MOSH which also improves many other comorbidities related to ***,there is conflicting evidence for the appropriate use of testosterone replacement therapy(tRt),and it can also be associated with *** evidence-based review updates the available evidence including the very recently published results of the tRAVERSE trial and provides comprehensive clinical practice pearls for the management of patients with *** starting testosterone replacement in functional hypogonadism of obesity,it would be desirable to initiate lifestyle modification to ensure weight *** should be coupled with the management of other comorbidities related to obesity in MOSH *** the risks and benefits of tRt should be considered in every patient before and during longterm management.

We explore the entanglement features of pure symmetric N-qubit states characterized by N-distinct spinors with a particular focus on the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states and , an equal superposition of W and obverse W states. Along with a comparison of pairwise entanglement and monogamy properties, we explore the geometric information contained in them by constructing their canonical steering ellipsoids. We obtain the volume monogamy relations satisfied by states as a function of number of qubits and compare with the maximal monogamy property of GHZ states.

High grade anal intraepithelial neoplasia due to human papilloma viral(HPV)infections is a precursor lesion for squamous cell carcinoma especially in high risk *** examination and anal biopsies remain unpopular with patients;moreover they are also risk factors for chronic pain,scarring and sphincter *** is lack of uniform,surveillance methods and guidelines for anal HPV specifically the intervals between exam and *** aim of this editorial is to discuss the intervals for surveillance exam and biopsy,based on specific HPV related biomarkers?Currently there are no published randomized controlled trials documenting the effectiveness of anal screening and surveillance programs to reduce the incidence,morbidity and mortality of anal *** contrast,the currently approved screening and surveillance methods available for HPV related cervical cancer includes cytology,HPV DNA test,P16 or combined P16/Ki-67 index and HPV E/6 and E/7 mRNA *** are very few studies performed to determine the efficacy of these tests in HPV related anal precancerous *** relevance of these biomarkers is discussed in this *** prospective research is needed to confirm the effectiveness of these molecular biomarkers that include high risk HPV serotyping,P16 immuno-histiochemistry and E6/E7 mRNA profiling on biopsies to elucidate and establish surveillance guidelines.

BACKGROUND there exists a link between irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)and ***,chronic depression is known to increase the risk of cancer in *** this population-based analysis,we investigated the prevalence and the odds of colorectal cancer(CRC)in young-depressed patients with *** to investigate the relationship between IBS and CRC in young,depressed patients using a nationally representative United States inpatient *** the 2019 National Inpatient Sample was used to identify young(18-44 years)patients admitted with comorbid depression in the presence vs absence of IBS using relevant International Classification of Diseases,tenth Revision,Clinical Modification *** endpoint was the prevalence and odds of CRC in age matched(1:1)youngdepressed cohort hospitalized with IBS(IBS+)vs without IBS(IBS-).Multivariable regression analysis was performed adjusting for potential *** Age-matched(1:1)young-depressed IBS+(83.9%females,median age 36 years)and IBS-(65.8%females,median age 36 years)cohorts consisted of 14370 patients in each ***+cohort had higher rates of hypertension,uncomplicated diabetes,hyperlipidemia,obesity,peripheral vascular disease,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,hypothyroidism,prior stroke,prior venous thromboembolism,anxiety,bipolar disorder,and borderline personality disorder(Pthe ***,prior myocardial infarction,acquired immunodeficiency syndrome,dementia,smoking,alcohol abuse,and drug abuse(Pte of CRC was comparable in both cohorts[IBS+n=25(0.17%)vs IBS-n=35(0.24%)].Compared to the IBS-cohort,the odds ratio(OR)of developing CRC was not significantly higher[OR 0.71,95% confidence interval(CI)0.23-2.25]in IBS+***,adjusting for baseline sociodemographic and hospital characteristics and relevant comorbidities,the OR was found to be non-significant(OR 0.89,95%CI 0.21-3.83).CONCLUSION this nationwide propensity-matched ana

Objective:the study was undertaken to evaluate the wound healing profile of alcoholic extract of Abroma augusta and its effect on dexamethasone suppressed wound healing in Wistar ***:An alcoholic extract of Abroma augusta was *** models were used - incision,excision and dead space wound models.
