Influence of misting system on the thermal environment and thermal comfort of seated people in semi-outdoor space in Xi’an,China

In summer,factors such as solar radiation could make semi-outdoor spaces uncomfortable,and the use of misting systems for evaporative cooling is a low-energy improvement *** investigate the impact of misting system on the thermal environment and thermal comfort of seated people improvement,a field study was conducted at a semi-outdoor cafeteria in Xi’*** results indicated that the misting system was capable of reducing the ambient air temperature by 2.4-4.9℃and increasing the relative humidity by 17.1%-17.8%.Participants in misting condition reported lower thermal sensation and higher thermal acceptability,thermal preference,humidity sensation,humidity preference and humidity *** no misting condition,the upper SET*limit acceptable to 80%of the population was 28.5℃.However,in the misting condition,the acceptable percentage of participants in each SET)interval was more than 90%.When SET)was 22.1-23.7℃,the improvement in human thermal comfort through misting system was not *** SET)was 23.7-28.5℃,the misting system significantly improve human thermal ***,two control temperature thresholds of the misting system were provided according to the relationship between 80%,the maximum(89.3%)acceptable percentage and the air temperature,which were 30.1℃and 26.5℃,respectively.

Plasmonic metal nanomaterials with intrinsic surface–enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)and photothermal properties,especially AuAg nanoalloys with both the outstanding merits of Au and Ag nanocrystals,show huge application prospects in bacterial ***,the direct exposure of AuAg nanoalloys in external conditions probably cause undesirable reactions and poisonous metal ion leakage during SERS detection and photothermal antibacterial therapy process,which severely hinder bacterial theranostics ***,we report an ultrastable graphene–isolated AuAg nanoalloy(GAA)with AuAg core confined in few–layer graphitic shell as a versatile platform for bacterial detection and *** encapsulation of graphene ensures the good stability of AuAg core,that its superior SERS and photothermal properties are therefore further *** is used for SERS detection of two vital bacterial biomarkers(including corrosive cyanide and pyocyanin),exhibiting good SERS quantitative and multiplexing *** is further used for photothermal antibacterial therapy application,and ultrahigh antibacterial efficacies for both Gram–negative Escherichia coli and Gram–positive Staphylococcus aureus are achieved under 808 nm laser *** work proposes a valuable method to develop robust bacterial theranostic platform.

Objective and Impact Statement:We describe an electroenzymatic mediator(EM)sensor based on an electroenzymatic assembly peak separation strategy,which can efficiently realize the simultaneous detection of 3 typical cardiovascular disease(CVD)metabolites in 5μl of plasma under one *** work has substantial implications toward improving the efficiency of chronic CVD ***:Monitoring CVD of metabolites is strongly associated with disease *** and time-consuming detection in hospitals is unfavorable for chronic CVD ***:The EM was flexibly designed by the cross-linking of electron mediators and enzymes,and 3 EM layers with different characteristics were assembled on one *** were transferred under tunable potential;3 metabolites were quantitatively detected by 3 peak currents that correlated with metabolite ***:In this study,the EM sensor showed high sensitivity for the simultaneous detection of 3 metabolites with a lower limit of 0.01 *** linear correlation between the sensor and clinical was greater than 0.980 for 242 patients,and the consistency of risk assessment was 94.6%.Conclusion:Metabolites could be expanded by the EM,and the sensor could be a promising candidate as a home healthcare tool for CVD risk assessment.

Crystallization Kinetics of NiTi Films with Different Ni Contents

Three kinds of NiTi films with different Ni contents were prepared by DC magnetron sputtering. The crystallization kinetics of amorphous films was determined by using non-isothermal single- scan techniques. The results show that the activation energy of crystallization of Ni-rich NiTi film(Ni 51.10 at. pct, Ti 48.90 at. pct) is 715 kJ/mol; while that of Ti-rich films are similar: one is 445 kJ/mol (Ni 46.74 at. pct. Ti 53.26 at. pct), the other is 418 kJ/mol (Ni 43.21 at. pct, Ti 56.7g at. pct), which i5 lower than Ni-rich film. The Avrami parameter n of different films are 0.92 and 0.74 for Ni-rich film and Ti-rich films, respectively. The difference of kinetic parameters for NiTi films with various Ni contents implies that the crystallization behaviors of these films are distinct, which is confirmed by the calculated isothermal kinetics at different temperatures. The thorough research on this phenomenon is in progress.

An oxidation resistant Al-Cu-Fe quasicrystalline coating was fabricated on substrate of Ti alloy by low pressure plasma spraying (LPPS) method. As-sprayed Al-Cu-Fe coating has a rapidly solidified lamellar microstructure consisting of quasicrystalline phase and crystalline phase. The formation of quasicrystalline coating is related to the annealing. The results from the ox!dat!on experiments showed that Al-Cu-Fe quasicrystalline coating improved the oxidation resistance of Ti-base alloys. During the oxidation period there is no evident spallation of the coating from the substrate. Oxide formed on the surface of Al-Cu-Fe quasicrystalline coating after oxidation consisted of Al2O3. Oxidation occurs Ieading to a change of concentration and phase transformation in the coating surface. Selective oxidation of AI transforms the quasicrystalline phase into the phase.

为向拟建、在建和已建冰区所有冷源取水工程海域的海冰环境监测和动态风险预警提供技术支撑,本文构建了海冰–海洋耦合条件下的拉格朗日粒子追踪预测模型,并以辽东湾某核电站取水口为例,模拟并探讨了寒潮天气下高风险冰块在24 h、48 h和72 h的运移轨迹及其进入取水口的概率。结果表明,由于取水口的走向与流向和风向几乎垂直,因此在口门外随机释放的1200个高风险冰块粒子中只有不到6%的粒子进入到取水口内。通过分区域标识粒子颜色,发现这些粒子多来自于靠近取水口300 m范围内。敏感性分析的结果表明,当释放粒子数量增至5倍时,结论不变。该项研究为冷源取水安全预警提供了一种新方法。

河流生态缓冲带指河流与陆地之间一定区域内的立体植被带。缓冲带生态构建是驻点跟踪研究推进长江经济带水生态环境改善的重要措施之一,对长江生态保护修复具有重要意义。基于土地利用遥感分析,得出长江干流江阴岸线缓冲带主要存在岸线开发强度高、水质难以稳定达标、生境破碎化严重、生物多样性较低等生态环境问题。针对上述问题,提出缓冲带分区分类生态构建方案:自然生境保护段以生态保护为主,可作为缓冲带生态构建的参照状态;生境生态修复段以块石抛岸带和废弃码头带为例,营造生境条件,恢复以芦苇为建群种的水生植物群落,起到截留污染和恢复生态景观的效果;城镇生境维持段因地制宜,采用生态沟塘、下凹式绿地等措施进行污染物的截留和净化。方案可为长江下游干流岸线缓冲带生态规划与建设提供参考和借鉴。同时研究表明,2006年起江阴市人均GDP超过10000美元,即超过环境库兹涅茨曲线倒U形的拐点,江阴市于2012年率先启动沿江产业结构调整以及江阴岸线缓冲带生态建设,该过程符合环境库兹涅茨曲线。

The fate of riverine sulfate ion (SO_(4)^(2-)) and its environmental effects in arid environment are difficult to evaluate due to its complicated sources and strongly coupled behaviors with water cycle which is significantly modified by *** understand the sulfur cycle in aquatic systems in arid environment,the chemical and sulfur and oxygen isotopic compositions (δ^(34)S_(SO4)and δ^(18)O_(SO4)) of major rivers around the Badain Jaran Desert,northwestern China,were *** rivers had averaged SO_(4)^(2-)content at 1336μmol/L,over 10times higher than the global *** δ^(34)S_(SO4)and δ^(18)O_(SO4)values ranged from-5.3‰to+11.8‰and+1.6‰to+12.8‰,*** end-member analysis and the inverse model showed that riverine sulfate was mainly derived from evaporites dissolution (0-87%),sulfide oxidation (13%-100%) and precipitation (0-33%),indicating heterogeneity in sulfur sources and behaviors along the river drainage with the lithology variations and climate *** isotopic tools combining with hydro-chemistry compositions could be applied to reveal sulfur cycle in arid *** on the calculation,sulfide oxidation plays the primary role in the headwater and upstream in the Qilian-Mountains area,where sulfide is widely *** the proportion of evaporites dissolution contributing to riverine sulfate is much higher in downstream in a drier ***,less precipitation and higher temperature can lead to more intensive evaporation,affecting the process of sulfide oxidation and enhancing the rates of evaporites dissolution and sulfate precipitation in the basin.

Chiral pollutants often pose significant differential environmental health *** this study,the biotransformation of chiral dinotefuran(DIN)and its enantioselective metabolic toxicity mechanisms have been systemically ***,reversedphase chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry was developed to quantify the content of DIN R/S chiral enantiomer with pg level sensitivity,revealing a lower elimination rate constant(K_(e))of S-DIN(0.730 h^(-1))than R-DIN(0.746 h^(-1)).Secondly,the interaction mechanism between DIN metabolism and important endogenous bioactive molecules,such as aldehyde oxidase(AOX)and neurotransmitters,was *** DIN nitro-group was converted into a guanidine group by the reducing site of nearby flavin adenine dinucleotide(FAD)in AOX with the preferred higher affinity of ***,the endogenous tryptophan(Trp)aldehyde metabolic intermediate,5-hydroxyindoleacetaldehyde(5-HIAL),provides a persistent electron donor for DIN reduction via the oxidation-catalyzed site in AOX,resulting in remarkable up-regulation of monoamine neurotransmitters such as serotonin and ***,the higher level of neurotransmitters further mediated dysregulation of oxylipin homeostasis via the serotonergic pathway,where S-DIN exhibited more pronounced liver lipid damage and environmental health risk with the accumulated lipid biomarkers,oxidized triglyceride(OxTG)and oxidized sphingomyelin(OxSM).This study elucidates the AOX-mediated enantioselectivity metabolic pathway of DIN,providing a new analytical method for chiral pollutants and paves the way for their health risk assessments.
