Wearable electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding fabrics with excellent electromagnetic shielding performance,oxidation resistance,and structural stability are highly demanded for the rapid development of electronic devices and wireless *** are metallic conductive materials with exceptional EMI shielding properties,but they are prone to oxidation in air and have poor structural stability and durability on fabric ***,we present a one-step assembly method to fabricate fabrics coated with MXenes and polymeric sodium alginate(SA)composite(MXene-SA).SA protects MXenes from oxidation and forms a stable interlayer structure by bonding to *** MXene-SA coated fabrics are breathable and flexible,and have a low sheet resistance of 2.12±0.08Ω/sq and a high EMI shielding performance of 37.05 dB at X-band,which is comparable to the best 42.31 ***,the MXene-SA coated fabrics exhibit high structural stability and oxidation resistance under various conditions of sonication disintegration,mechanical abuse,chemical corrosion,and humidity,compared to pure MXenes coated *** believe that the wearable and high-performance MXene-SA fabrics have great potential for the next generation of ultra-portable and wearable EMI shielding products.

Transparent Gd_(2)O_(3)ceramics with a cubic crystal structure were successfully synthesized for the first *** Gd_(2)O_(3)ceramics subjected to hot isostatic press(HIP)at 1070℃consisted of uniform grains of 2-3μm,and only a few residual pores could be detected inside the materials.X-ray diffraction(XRD)shows that the obtained polycrystalline materials have a cubic crystal structure,and the transmission polarized light observation shows that there is no birefringence inside the materials,indicating inherent optical properties of the cubic crystal *** optical absorption edge is 640 nm(optical band gap:2.1 eV),and the transmittance in the visible to near-infrared region is 72%,which is close to the theoretical transmittance calculated from Fresnel *** constant of this material is almost wavelength-independent,and it is diamagnetic since it has the opposite polarity to that of common paramagnetic materials.

Molecular luminescent materials with optical waveguide have wide application prospects in light-emitting diodes, sensors, and logic gates. However, the majority of traditional optical waveguide systems are based on brittle molecular crystals, which limited the fabrication, transportation, storage, and adaptation of flexible devices under diverse application situations. To date, the design and synthesis of photofunctional materials with high flexibility, novel optical waveguide, and multi-port color-tunable emission in the same solid-state system remain an open challenge. Here, we have constructed new types of zero-dimensional organic metal halides (Au-4-dimethylaminopyridine [DMAP] and In-DMAP) with a rarely high elasticity and rather low loss coefficients for optical waveguide. Theoretical calculations on the intermolecular interactions showed that the high elasticity of 2 molecular crystalline materials was original from their herringbone structure and slip plane. Based on one-dimensional flexible microrods of 2 crystals and the 2-dimensional microplate of the Mn-DMAP, heterojunctions with multi-color and space-resolved optical waveguides have been fabricated. The formation mechanism of heterojunctions is based on the surface selective growth on account of the low lattice mismatch ratio between contacting crystal planes. Therefore, this work describes the first attempt to the design of metal-halide-based crystal heterojunctions with high flexibility and optical waveguide, expanding the prospects of traditional luminescent materials for smart optical devices, such as logic gates and multiplexers.

Enhanced Response of Acute Monocytic Leukemia Cells to Low-dose Cytarabine by 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3

Low-dose cytarabine combined with differentiating or DNA hypomethylating agents,such as vitamin D compounds,is a potential regimen to treat acute myeloid leukemia(AML)patients who are unfit for high-intensity *** present study aimed to determine which subset of AML would be most responsive to low-dose cytarabine with the differentiating agent 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3(1,25-D3).Here,firstly,c Bio Portal database was used and we found out that vitamin D receptor(VDR)was highly expressed in acute monocytic leukemia(M5)and high VDR expression was associated with a poor survival of AML ***,we confirmed that 1,25-D3 at clinical available concentration could induce more significant differentiation in acute monocytic leukemia cell lines(U937,MOLM-13,THP-1)and blasts from M5 patients than in non-monocytic cell lines(KG1 a and K562)and blasts from M2 ***,it was shown that the combination of 1,25-D3 and low-dose cytarabine further increased the differentiating rate,growth inhibition and G0/G1 arrest,while mild changes were found in the apoptosis in acute monocytic leukemia cell *** study demonstrates that the enhanced response of acute monocytic leukemia cells to low-dose cytarabine by 1,25-D3 might indicate a novel therapeutic direction for patients with acute monocytic leukemia,especially for elderly and frail ones.

Objective: To determine whether monotropein has an anticancer effect and explore its potential mechanisms against colorectal cancer(CRC) through network pharmacology and molecular docking combined with experimental verification. Methods: Network pharmacology and molecular docking were used to predict potential targets of monotropein against CRC. Cell counting kit assay, plate monoclonal assay and microscopic observation were used to investigate the antiproliferative effects of monotropein on CRC cells HCT116, HT29 and LoVo. Flow cytometry and scratch assay were used to analyze apoptosis and cell cycle, as well as cell migration, respectively in HCT116, HT29, and LoVo cells. Western blotting was used to detect the expression of proteins related to apoptosis, cell cycle, and cell migration, and the expression of proteins key to the Akt pathway. Results: The Gene Ontology and Reactome enrichment analyses indicated that the anticancer potential of monotropein against CRC might be involved in multiple cancer-related signaling pathways. Among these pathways, RAC-beta serine/threonine-protein kinase(Akt1, Akt2), cyclin-dependent kinase 6(CDK6), matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP9), epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR), cell division control protein 42 homolog(CDC42) were shown as the potential anticancer targets of monotropein against CRC. Molecular docking suggested that monotropein may interact with the 6 targets(Akt1, Akt2, CDK6, MMP9, EGFR, CDC42). Subsequently, cell activity of HCT116, HT29 and LoVo cell lines were significantly suppressed by monotropein(PlinD1, CDK4 and CDK6, inhibited cell migration by suppressing the expressions of CDC42 and MMP9(Pling pathway. Photocatalytic olefin oxidation using air as an oxidant is an environmentally friendly method for producing epoxides. Covalent organic frameworks（COFs） have emerged as promising photocatalysts in various organic synthesis reactions. The combination of tri-（2-pyridinal aldehyde）-containing precursor with 4,4',4''-（1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyl）trianiline generated（N^N）-I-COF. Via imine-to-quinoline transformation and coordination anchorage of Ru（N^N）3unit, Ru（N^N）3@Q-COF was obtained with improved chemical stability, skeleton conjugation, and novel photochemical characteristics, and demonstrated excellent photocatalytic activity in olefin epoxidation with a wide range of substrates. The presence of H2O played a crucial role in the formation of reactive oxygen species（ROSs）, which in turn influenced the olefin oxidation process. The hydrophilicity of Ru（N^N）3facilitated the approach of H2O and O2to the photogenerated charges, thereby promoting ROSs generation. The lipophilicity of Q-COF allowed for the absorption of olefin substrates, and its nano-channels increased encountering possibility between olefins and ROSs. Consequently, Ru（N^N）3@Q-COF provided an intriguing platform for olefin photooxidation and could be recycled multiple times without any degradation in performance. This report revealed that the conversion of classical ROSs into less potent oxidants with rapid kinetic rates played a crucial role in achieving highly efficient and selective epoxidation of terminal olefins.
