Spatiotemporal variation in forest fire danger from 1996 to 2010 in Jilin Province,China

We evaluated the spatial and temporal patterns of forest fires in two fire seasons (March to June and September to November) from 1996 to 2010 in Jilin Province, China, using the Canadian Forest Fire Weather Index System. Fire data were obtained from the Provincial Fire Agency, and historical climate records of daily weather observations were collected from 36 weather stations in Jilin and its neighboring provinces. A linear regression model was used to analyze linear trends between climate and fire weather indices with time treated as an independent variable. Correlation analysis was used to detect correlations between fire frequency, areas burned, and fire weather indices. A thin-plate smooth spline model was used to interpolate the point data of 36 weather stations to generate a surface covering the whole province. Our analyses indicated fire frequency and areas burned were significantly correlated with fire weather indices. Overall, the Canadian Forest Fire Weather Index System appeared to be work well for determining the fire danger rating in Jilin Province. Also, our analyses indicated that in the forthcoming decades, the overall fire danger in March and April should decrease across the province, but the chance of a large fire in these months would increase. The fire danger in the fall fire season would increase in the future, and the chance of large fire would also increase. Historically, because most fires have occurred in the spring in Jilin Province, such a shift in the future fire danger between the two fire seasons would be beneficial for the province's fire management.

Incorporation of Isopolyoxometalate into the Crystal and Membrane of ZIF-8

With the aim of designing and preparing the materials based on polyoxometalates(POMs)and the metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)toward desired applications,a facile approach was developed to incorporate the clusters of Mo7O24^6-(Mo7),a representative isopolyoxometalate,into the vacant cages of *** the so-called strategy of building MOF bottles around the POM ships,the powdered crystals and crystalline membrane of Mo7@ZIF-8 were synthesized,*** products were characterized by IR,PXRD,N2 adsorption,and *** Mo7@ZIF-8 crystals could effectively adsorb malachite green(MG)from water,and the maximum adsorption capacity reached 1963 mg·g^-*** Mo7@ZIF-8 crystals could also be used for selectively adsorbing MG from the mixed dye solution containing MG and methyl orange(MO).Moreover,the Mo7@ZIF-8 membrane exhibited the proton conductivity of 9.5×10^-2 S·cm^-1 at 75℃under 98%relative humidity.

Preparation of 5-Fluorouracil Loaded Polylactide-co-glycolide-co-methoxy Poly(ethylene glycol) (PLGA-mPEG) Nanoparticles via High Speed Shearing

5-Fluorouracil（5-FU） loaded nanoparticles（NPs） were prepared by a high speed shearing double emulsion method with polylactide-co-glycolide-co-methoxy poly（ethylene glycol）（PLGA-mPEG） as loading material. The prepared NPs possess a negative zeta potential and their loading efficiency is about 15%（mass fraction）. The result of in vitro release shows that the release behavior of 5-FU from NPs is coincident with Zero-level release from the second day.

This article reviews the cohort study published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology,which reported low rates of Helicobacter pylori(***)infection among esophageal cancer(EC)patients,coupled with proton pump inhibitor(PPI)*** findings suggest a potential protective role of *** against EC and indicate a possible association between PPI use and increased cancer *** light of these findings,our article examines the complex relationship between *** and esophageal precancerous lesions,exploring the potential underlying *** also address growing concerns regarding PPI overuse,including its potential effects on cancer therapy efficacy and the risk of drug ***,this article highlights the urgent need for further research to evaluate the safety and efficacy of PPIs in cancer patients and to better understand their broader implications.

Theoretical Researches on the Self-assembly System of Molecularly Imprinted Polymers Formed via Phenobarbital and Acrylamide

For preparing the phenobarbital(PHN) molecularly imprinted polymers(MIPs) with higher adsorption and selectivity properties, we used the M062 X/6-31 g(d,p) method of density functional theory to predict the various properties of PHN-MIPs. Here PHN is as the imprinted molecule and acrylamide(AM) as the functional monomer. The ethylene glycol dimethacrylate,trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate, divinyl benzene, and pentaerythritol trimethacrylate are as the cross-linking agents, respectively. The acetonitrile, chloroform, toluene, and tetrahydrofuran are used as the solvents, respectively. The configurations of the molecular imprinting self-assembly system for PHN and AM have been simulated to study their bonding sites, binding energy, amount of hydrogen bond, and interaction mechanism. The essence of imprinting interaction for PHN and AM has been revealed by the atomic in the molecule theory. Meanwhile, the analogues of PHN were used to discuss the selectivity property of the stable PHN-AM complex. The results show that the PHN interacts with AM through hydrogen bonds. When the imprinting molar ratio of PHN-AM is1:6 and the THF is as the solvent, the amount of their hydrogen bonds is the most, the binding energy is the lowest, and their configuration is the most stable. In comparison with the other cross-linking agents(EGDMA, TRIM, and DVB), the PETA is more suitable for PHN-MIPs. The selective property of PHN-MIP to PHN is excellent when PHN and DMBA exist at the same time.

Geometrical quantum discord and negativity of two separable and mixed qubits

Deep origin of Cenozoic volcanoes in Northeast China revealed by 3-D electrical structure

The three-dimensional(3-D)electrical structure of the upper-mantle was used to examine the deep origins of and relationship among the Cenozoic volcanoes located in Northeast China(NEC).High-quality,long-period magnetotelluric(LMT)full-impedance tensor data were collected in NEC and subjected to 3-D Gauss-Newton inversion in order to construct a resistivity *** resulting model reveals the presence of multiple localized low-resistivity anomalies(LRAs)within the high resistivity lithosphere beneath *** LRAs partially coincide with Cenozoic volcanoes on the *** LRAs that form a larger,annular LRA were observed in the deep upper mantle beneath the Songliao Basin,whereas vein-like LRAs were found in the asthenosphere that connect the lithosphere and deep upper *** analyses suggest that the LRAs may have been caused by fluid-induced *** on our electrical model,we propose that,following dehydration of the subducted Western Pacific slab into the mantle transition zone(MTZ)beneath NEC,the released water migrated upward and caused partial melting at the top of the MTZ beneath the Songliao *** the effect of buoyancy,the melted mantle formed a thermal upwelling that caused melting of asthenosphere before diapiring at the base of the dry *** magma then penetrated structural boundaries(such as thinner,weaker,or activated suture zones)and finally reached the Earth's *** melting and upwelling of hot mantle materials may have resulted in large-scale volcanism in the region throughout the Cenozoic,including the eruption of Changbai Mountain and Halaha *** results suggest that the Cenozoic NEC volcanoes may all share a similar mode of genesis,and probably originated from the annular LRA in the deep upper mantle.

High Frequency Stability Constraints Based MMC Controller Design Using NSGA-III Algorithm

The occurrence of high frequency resonances(HFRs)has been frequently observed in several MMC-HVDC *** avoid these HFRs,the controller design of an MMC must satisfy two requirements:1)The controller should remain stable while in the high frequency range,and 2)MMC impedance should not possess a negative real part in the high frequency *** far,majority of the related studies on MMC controller design have been unable to address these requirements *** paper first describes the simplified high frequency MMC impedance model developed indigenously by the ***,the driving mechanism of two kinds of HFRs is revealed using the said developed model,including:1)MMC controller instability,and 2)Interaction instability between MMC and AC ***,the mathematical expressions outlining the controller stability constraint and positive damping constraint are ***,NSGA-III based multi-objective optimization algorithm is adopted,to identify the region most suitable for satisfying the proposed stability constraints under the MMC controller *** proposed controller design method is capable of effectively evading the HFRs triggered by the incompatible *** detailed time-domain simulations generated using PSCAD/EMTDC software validate the proposed designed method and endorse the improved results.
