Interaction of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride with sodium dodecyl sulfate in aqueous/electrolytes solution at different temperatures and compositions

Interactions of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride(CPFH)with sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)were investigated by conductivity measurement in H2O/electrolyte solutions(NaCl,Na2SO4&Na3PO4)over 298.15–318.15 K temperature range(with 5 K interval)considering the human body *** all cases,two critical micelle concentrations(c*)were observed which are increased in the presence of drug and decreased in the presence of salts enunciating the presence of interaction amongst the studied ***(CPFH+SDS)system in the presence of salt,the c*values at 303.15 K and I=0.50 mmol·kg^-1 followed the order:CNaCl>CNa2SO4>***ΔG1,m0 andΔG2,m0values are found to be negative for all systems that show that the micellization process is thermodynamically ***(CPFH+SDS)system in water,theΔHm0&ΔSm0 values reveal that the micellization processes is both entropy dominated in almost all *** the occurrence of electrolytes,ΔHm0 andΔSm0 values indicate that micellization processes are both entropy&enthalpy restricted at upper temperature but it becomes totally entropy dependent at higher *** higher positiveΔSm0 values indicate the enhanced hydrophobic interaction in presence of *** enthalpy-entropy compensation was determined from the linear relationship betweenΔHm0 andΔSm0 values in every *** transfer energies as well as compensation temperature and intrinsic enthalpy were also evaluated and the behaviors were comparable to other biological system.

Effects of resistivity on standing shocks in low angular momentum flows around black holes

We study two-dimensional low angular momentum flow around a black hole using the resistive magnetohydrodynamic module of PLUTO *** have been performed for the flows with parameters of specific angular momentum,specific energy and magnetic field which may be expected for the flow around Sgr A*.For flows with lower resistivityη=10^(-6)and 0.01,the luminosity and shock location on the equator vary *** power density spectra of luminosity variation show peak frequencies which correspond to the periods of 5×10^(5),1.4×10^(5)and 5×10^(4)*** quasi-periodic oscillations(QPOs)occur due to interaction between the outer oscillating standing shock and the inner weak shocks occurring at the innermost hot *** for cases with higher resistivityη=0.1 and 1.0,the high resistivity considerably suppresses the magnetic activity such as MHD turbulence and the flows tend to be steady and symmetric with respect to the *** steady standing shock is formed more outward compared with the hydrodynamical *** low angular momentum flow model with the above flow parameters and with low resistivity has a possibility to explain long-term flares of Sgr A*with frequencies~one per day and~5-10 days in the latest observations by Chandra,Swift and XMM-Newton monitoring of Sgr A*.

Engineered chitosan for improved 3D tissue growth through Paxillin-FAK-ERK activation

Scaffold engineering has attracted significant attention for three-dimensional(3D)growth,prolifer-ation and differentiation of stem cells in *** available scaffolds suffer from issues such as poor ability for cell adhesion,migration and *** paper addresses these issues with 3D porous chitosan scaffold,fabricated and functionalized with cysteine-terminated Arg-Gly-Asp(Cys-RGD)tri-peptide on their *** study reveals that the compressive moduli of the scaffold is independent to RGD functionalization but shows dependence on the applied freezing temperature(TM)during the fabrication *** low freezing TM(-80℃)produces scaffold with high compressive moduli(14.64±1.38 kPa)and high TM(-30℃)produces scaffold with low compressive moduli(5.6±0.38 kPa).The Cys-RGD functionalized scaffolds lead to significant improvements in adhesion(150%)and proliferation(300%)of human mesenchymal stem cell(hMSC).The RGD-integrin coupling activates the focal adhesion signaling(Paxillin-FAK ERK)path-ways,as confirmed by the expression of p-Paxillin,p-FAK and p-ERK protein,and results in the observed improvement of cell adhesion and *** proliferation of hMSC on RGD func-tionalized surface was evaluated with scanning electron microscopy imaging and distribution though pore was confirmed by histochemistry of transversely sectioned *** hMSC adhe-sion and proliferation in scaffold with high compressive moduli showed a constant enhancement(with a slope value 9.97)of compressive strength throughout the experimental period of 28 *** improved cell adhesion and proliferation with RGD functionalized chitosan scaffold,together with their mechanical stability,will enable new interesting avenues for 3D cell growth and differen-tiation in numerous applications including regenerative tissue implants.

To obtain analytically relativistic quintessence anisotropic spherical solutions in the f(T)paradigm is the primary objective of this *** do this,the pressure anisotropy condition is imposed,and we employ a metric potential of the Tolman–Kuchowicz(TK)*** also suppose that our current model incorporates a quintessence field characterized by a parameterωq,in addition to the anisotropic matter *** the presence of the parameterα,the field equations are modified by the choice of the f(T)*** f(T)gravity parameterαadds new components to the basic physical characteristics,such as density,pressure,subliminal sound velocity,surface redshift,etc,of the present *** selecting the compact star Her X-1 and varyingαfrom 0.5 to 2.5,we examined all the physical characteristics of the model parameter of the *** graphical process demonstrates that a more compact item is produced with greater values ofα.The hydrostatic equilibrium condition of the model is discussed,as well as the mass-radius relationship for our current model is obtained.

A representation for the velocity and pressure fields in three-dimensional Stokes flow was presented in terms of a biharmonic function A and a harmonic function *** representation was used to establish a general theorem for the calculation of Stokes flow due to fundamental singularities in a region bounded by a stationary no-slip plane ***'s theorem for axisymmetric Stokes flow before a rigid plane follows as a special case of the theorem.A few illustrative examples are given to show its usefulness.

Ensuring food security for the rapidly increasing population and changing climatic scenarios are requisites for exploiting the genetic divergence of food crops.A study was undertaken to sort out an early maturing chickpea variety for fitting easily between rice-rice cropping systems in the Eastern Indo-Gangetic Plain of *** trial was comprised of eight elite lines of chickpea and executed at various localities in Bangladesh from 2014–15 to 2017–*** result explored the chickpea genotype,BARI Chola-11 remained superior to the rest of the elite genotypes for having a short maturity period(100–106 days),and lesser days to 50%flowering(47–55 days).The same genotype was recorded to have robust vegetative and reproductive yield attributes including plant height(49–57 cm),podsplant−1(37–50),and optimum 100 seed weight(19.5–20.6 g).Owing to better yield attributes,BARI Chola-11 resulted in the maximum seed yield(1200–1500 kg ha-1)of chickpea and might be recommended for general adoption in the region for boosting nutritional security status through improved productivity under changing climate.

Economic Burden of Illness of the Cervical Cancer Treatment Protocol in Bangladesh

Background: Cervical cancer is a significant health concern in Bangladesh, with high mortality rates due to limited awareness and costly treatments. The disease stages influence treatment protocols, ranging from surgery and radiotherapy for early stages to chemotherapy and radiation for advanced stages, but survival rates decrease as the cancer progresses. Objective: The objective of this study is to determine the economic impact of the disease and recommend cost-efficient strategies for prevention and treatment. Methods: A population-based, cross-sectional study was conducted with a stratified sample of cervical cancer patients from selected healthcare facilities across Bangladesh. Data collection involved structured interviews and validated questionnaires. The study measured the economic impact, treatment costs, and other related expenses. Quantitative data analysis was performed using SPSS v22, MS-Excel, and R Programming, with Multivariate regression analysis and Post Hoc tests, including the chi-square test, applied to selected indicators. Results: All respondents in the study were female, aged 34 - 75, with 72.3% aged 40 - 50. Most were illiterate (38.6%) and housewives (95.0%). Additionally, 98% were married, 85.10% married before age 18, and 46.50% experienced their first menstruation before age 12. Families typically had a monthly income of 10,000 - 30,000 Taka, spending similar amounts on treatment. Significant relationships were found between educational qualifications, occupation, personal hygiene practices, history of oral contraceptive use, and age of marriage (p Conclusion: The article emphasizes the impact of monthly family income on cervical cancer treatment costs, stressing the need for comprehensive support services to address the financial and emotional burdens faced by patients. Improving access to quality care and implementing measures can enhance outcomes for cervical cancer patients in Bangladesh.

本文研究具有分层特性的针阔叶树叶样品的燃烧性,侧重探讨样品质量对热释放速率的影响方式和机制.选取4种典型形状的树叶在不同质量和含水量条件下开展锥形量热仪测试,观测特定辐射热流作用下热释放速率峰值(PHRR)随样品参数设置的变化规律.结果表明,其中3种植物叶样PHRR随装载量的增加而下降,并在超过临界质量后基本持平,而另外一种叶样的变化则不明显;随着含水量减小,同等质量样品的PHRR有所提升.改变质量造成样品PHRR的变化可以归结为分层效应引起的热边界差异.样品质量增加,用于其表层升温的热流通量下降,这由同步检测的消光系数K值变化得到验证.树叶分布达到或超过3层后,其质量突破临界值,基本保证样品由热薄材料向热厚材料转变,其燃烧过程中热交换趋于稳定,热释放速率峰值基本不受样品质量影响.形成的认识对于建立分层树叶样品可燃性以及碳排放测试标准有现实意义.

Detection of health hazard insecticide dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) in some common marine dry fish samples from Bangladesh

Objectives: The general purpose of this study is to detection and determination of the concentration level of dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) in some commercially available marine dry fishes and to investigate the contamination status of dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) of these dry fishes. Methods: Samples were collected from six largest dry fish markets (three from Chittagong district and three from Cox’s Bazar district) and four types of dry fishes were taken in this study are Ribbon fish (Lepturacanthus savala), Sin Croaker (Johnius dussumieri), Bombay duck (Harpodon nehereus) and Shrimp (mixed species). Total numbers of samples were 24 that were analyzed in the laboratory. Results: The results of the study show that the mean concentrations of dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) in the samples of Ribbon fish, Bombay duck and Sin croaker were ranged between 130.85 - 153.47ppb, 125.21 - 181.4ppb and 119.86 – 208.65ppb respectively. The mean concentrations of dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) were found at a lower amount in shrimp sp. than the other. Conclusions: This result indicates that the concentration of dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) in dry fish samples from Bangladesh are higher and may causes chronic disease and potential long-term risk for human health.

本研究基于不同财务异质性衡量标准,评估了企业投资对货币政策冲击的不同反应。文章使用了 Compustat数据库相关数据和高频事件研究方法用于检验在面对货币政策冲击时,企业财务状况对企业投资动态的影响。使用了围绕联邦公开市场委员会（FOMC）政策公告的各种利率期货的变化情况来构建以意料之外的波动衡量的货币政策冲击。本文使用杠杆率和现金持有作为企业财务状况的解释变量,研究结果显示,在解释公司的不同投资水平时,低杠杆和高现金持有的公司对货币政策冲击的反应更大。对于高杠杆公司和低现金持有公司而言,两种货币政策冲击变量的交互作用在统计上是不显著的,但它们对低杠杆公司和高现金持有公司具有统计显著性。当控制杠杆率与现金持有之间的关联时,现金持有对企业差异化投资的影响相对于一个周期的杠杆的影响具有更高的标准差,即后者对公司的投资水平具有更高的影响。在货币政策紧缩期间,企业高的现金持有还提高了企业投资效率水平。本研究丰富了企业投资行为的相关文献,有助于制定和优化宏观调控政策。
