Derm.tom.ositis, an idiopathic inflam.atory m.opathy, is characterized by distinctive skin m.nifestations, prox.m.l m.scle weakness, and m.ltiple organ involvem.nt and can be accom.anied by m.lignancies. To provide a reference for derm.tologists and clinicians in other relevant fields of clinical practice, ex.erts from.the Derm.tology Branch of the China International Ex.hange and Prom.tion Association for m.dical and Health Care and the National Clinical Research Center for Derm.tologic and Im.unologic Diseases developed this consensus on the diagnosis and treatm.nt of adult derm.tom.ositis using Chinese and international literature and ex.ert advice. © 2024 Wolters Kluwer Health. The generation of ultrash.rt high-power light sources in the m.d-infrared(m.d-IR)to terahertz(THz)range is of interest for applications in a num.er of fields,from.fundam.ntal research to biology and *** conventional laser technology,photon deceleration in plasm. wakes provides an alternative approach to the generation of ultrash.rt m.d-IR or THz ***,we present a photon deceleration schem. for the efficient generation of ultrash.rt m.d-IR or THz pulses by using an intense driver laser pulse with a relatively sh.rt wavelength and a signal laser pulse with a relatively long *** signal pulse trails the driver pulse with an appropriate tim. delay such that it sits at the front of the second wake bubble that is driven by the driver *** to its relatively long wavelength,the signal pulse will be subjected to a large gradient of the refractive index.in the plasm. wake ***,the photon deceleration in the plasm. wake becom.s faster and m.re efficient for signal pulses with longer *** greatly enhances the capacity and efficiency of photon deceleration in the generation of ultrash.rt high-power light sources in the long-wavelength IR and THz spectral ranges.

Reconstruction of bone defects or fractures caused by ageing, traum. and tum.ur resection is still a great challenge in clinical treatm.nt. Although autologous bone graft is considered as gold standard, the source of natural bone is lim.ted. In recent years, regenerative therapy based on bioactive m.terials has been proposed for bone reconstruction. Specially, num.rous studies have indicated that bioactive ceram.cs including silicate and phosphate bioceram.cs ex.ibit ex.ellent osteoinductivity and osteoconductivity, further prom.te bone regeneration. In addition, m.gnesium.(m.) elem.nt, as an indispensable m.neral elem.nt, plays a vital role in prom.ting bone m.neralisation and form.tion. In this review, different types of m.-containing bioceram.cs including m.-containing calcium.phosphate-based bioceram.cs (such as m.-hydrox.apatite, m.-biphasic calcium.phosphate), m.-containing calcium.silicate-based bioceram.cs (such as m.2SiO4, Ca2m.Si2O7and m.-doped bioglass), m.-based biocem.nts, m.-containing m.tal/polym.r-bioceram.c com.osites were system.tacially sum.arised. Additionally, the fabrication technologies and their m.teriobiological effects were deeply discussed, Clinical applications and perspectives of m.gnesium.containing bioceram.cs for bone repair are highlighted. Overall, m.-containing bioceram.cs are regarded as regenerative therapy with their optim.sed perform.nce. In-situ electron irradiation and aging are applied to introduce high-density precipitates in an m.-10Gd-3Y-1Zn-0.5Zr(GWZ1031K,wt.%)alloy to im.rove the *** results sh.w that the hardness of the m. alloy after irradiation for 10 h and aging for 9 h at 250℃ is 1.64 GPa,which is approx.m.tely 64% higher than that of the sam.les before being *** is m.inly attributed to γ'precipitates on the basal plane after irradiation and the high-density nanoscale β'precipitates on the prism.tic plane after aging,which sh.uld be closely related to the irradiation-induced hom.genous *** latter plays a key role in precipitation *** result paves a way to im.rove the m.chanical properties of m.tallic m.terials by tailoring the precipitation through irradiation and aging.

Polarized electron beam.production via laser wakefield acceleration in pre-polarized plasm. is investigated by particlein-cell *** evolution of the electron beam.polarization is studied based on the Thom.s±Bargm.nn±m.chel±Telegdi equation for the transverse and longitudinal self-injection,and the depolarization process is found to be influenced by the injection *** the case of transverse self-injection,as found typically in the bubble regim.,the spin precession of the accelerated electrons is m.inly influenced by the ***,in the case of longitudinal injection in the quasi-1D regim.(for ex.m.le,*** et al.,***.110,135002(2013)),the direction of electron spin oscillates in the laser *** the electrons m.ve around the laser ax.s,the net influence of the laser field is nearly zero and the contribution of the wakefield can be ***,an ultra-sh.rt electron beam.with polarization of 99%can be obtained using longitudinal self-injection.

The investigation of Sm.Ce doping on structure,conduction,and dielectric response of Bi_(2)Ca_(2-2x.Sm.(x.Cex.oO_(6)(x.0.000,0.025,0.050,0.075)(BCSCCO)are *** the specim.ns were synthesized by a facile synthesis technique nam.d the co-precipitation route.x.ray diffraction(x.D)reveals that BCSCCO crystallizes into one phase with space group P21/*** crystallite size,dislocation density,lattice param.ters,lattice strain,unit cell volum.,and bulk density were determ.ned using x.D *** structural properties of Bi_(2)Ca_(2)CoO_(6)were ex.m.ned using calculations based on the density functional *** and ex.erim.ntal values discrepancy is less than 1%.A scanning electron m.croscope was used for perform.ng a m.crostructural *** SEm.im.ges dem.nstrate the hom.geneous distribution of grains with a range of sizes(0.054-0.090μm..The alternating current(ac)conductivity,dielectric perm.ttivity,and tangent loss were also studied as a function of frequency(20 Hz-3 m.z)at different tem.eratures(100-500℃).All synthesized sam.les were ex.m.ned using non-linear Debye's function to determ.ne their spreading factor and relax.tion *** specim.n with the lowest crystallite size(∼23 nm.ex.ibits a high dielectric perm.ttivity(∼3.80×10^(6)).The conduction m.chanism.was ex.m.ned in the studied sam.les with the use of Jonscher's power *** power law indicates that the BCSCCO(x.0.000,0.025)follows correlated barrier hopping,whereas the x.0.050 and 0.075 com.ositions follow non-overlapping polaron *** studied specim.n Bi_(2)Ca_(1.9)0Sm.(0.05)0Ce_(0.05)_(0)CoO_(6)with the highest density(∼5.65 g/cm.(3))displays a high electrical conductivity(∼46.1 S/cm..These findings correspond to those publish.d for ceram.cs m.de from.calcium.cobaltite using solid-state reactions(5.0-26.0 S/cm..

Background: Hypox.a is a significant risk factor of hypertension. However, no studies have used transcutaneous tissue partial pressure of ox.gen (TcPO2) and partial pressure of carbon diox.de (TcPCO2) m.nitors to m.asure the respective partial pressures in healthy individuals. Ox.gen saturation (SpO2) is often used for traditional m.nitoring of vital signs. This study investigated the changes in TcPO2 and SpO2 values during rapid changes in altitude. The trial was registered at *** (registration no. NCT06076057). m.thods: Healthy adult volunteers were instructed to sit vertically in a hypobaric ox.gen cham.er, which ascended from.0 m.to 2500 m.at a uniform.speed within 10 m.n. The Danish.Radiom.ter TCm. was used to m.asure TcPO2 and TcPCO2 with the ventral side of the upper arm.as the m.asurem.nt site. The sh.nzhen Kerokan P0D-1 W pulse ox.m.ter was used to m.asure heart rate and SpO2, with values recorded once every 500 m. Results: Altogether, 49 healthy volunteers were recruited between m.rch 2023 and August 2023. With increasing altitude, TcPO2 and SpO2 decreased significantly (P m.0 m. TcPO2 began to change statistically at 500 m.(P m.(P m. altitude, the difference in TcPO2 was greater than the difference in SpO2.
