The hydraulic system plays an important role in supplying power and its transition to other working parts of a coal shearer machine. In this paper, the reliability of the hydraulic system of a drum shearer was analyzed. A case study was done in the Tabas Coal Mine in Iran for failure data collection. The results of the statistical analysis show that the time between failures (TBF) data of this system followed the 3-parameters Weibull distribution. There is about a 54% chance that the hydraulic system of the drum shearer will not fail for the first 50 h of operation. The developed model shows that the reliability of the hydraulic system reduces to a zero value after approximately 1 650 hours of operation. The failure rate of this system decreases when time increases. Therefore, corrective maintenance (run-to-failure) was selected as the best maintenance strategy for it.

Acidizing treatment in petroleum reservoirs is a short-term and viable strategy to preserve the productivity of a *** is a major concern for the degradation of cement sheath integrity,leading to poor zonal isolation and environmental ***,it is essential to understand how the cement behaves when attacked by hydrochloric *** this study,a cement slurry by incorporation of the henna extract,as an environmentally friendly cement additive,was synthesized as a potential solution to solve this *** characteristics of the treated cement slurry were compared with a reference slurry(w/c?0.44)which is composed of only cement and water.A kinetic study was carried out to evaluate the adsorption behavior of the cement slurries exposed to an acid solution with 0.1 M hCl in a range of 25 to 55C *** features of the cement slurries were evaluated by multiple analytical techniques such as XRD,FTIR,TG,and DSC *** the experimental data,it is concluded that the second-order Lagergren kinetic model revealed to be the best in describing kinetic isotherms taken,because the margin between experimental and calculated values was minor for this *** results of the characterization and hCl interaction kinetic studies underlined the prominent protective role of henna extract-modified cement slurry in the enhancement of the cement resistance against acid attack and utilization in environmentally favorable oil well acidizing treatments.

Post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder after liver transplantation: Incidence, long-term survival and impact of serum tacrolimus level

AIM To investigate incidence and survival of post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder(PTLD) patients after liver transplantation. METhODS A cross-sectional survey was conducted among patients who underwent liver transplantation at shiraz Transplant Center(shiraz, Iran) between August 2004 and March 2015. Clinical and laboratory data of patients were collected using a data gathering form. RESULTS There were 40 cases of PTLD in the pediatric age group and 13 cases in the adult group. The incidence of PTLD was 6.25% in pediatric patients and 1.18% in adult liver transplant recipients. The post-PTLD survival of patients at 6 mo was 75.1% ± 6%, at 1 year was 68.9% ± 6.5% and at 5 years was 39.2% ± 14.2%. higher serum tacrolimus level was associated with lower post-PTLD survival in pediatric patients(OR = 1.07, 95%CI: 1.006-1.15, P = 0.032). A serum tacrolimus level over 11.1 ng/mL was predictive of post PTLD survival(sensitivity = 90%, specificity = 52%, area under the curve = 0.738, P = 0.035). CONCLUSION Incidence of PTLD in our liver transplant patients is comparable to other centers. Transplant physicians may consider adjustment of tacrolimus dose to maintain its serum level below this cutoff point.

研究用热分解法从CdCO_3前驱体制备CdO纳米颗粒的非等温动力学。采用Malek模型模拟法和改进的非模型等转化率Vyazovkin法对所得DSC和TDA数据进行分析。结果表明,从CdCO_3制备CdO纳米颗粒的反应属于自动催化反应。Sestak-Berggren模型能很好地描述该反应过程。另外,计算得到CdCO_3热分解反应的表观活化能为(119.19±9.97)kJ/mol,并建立了该热分解反应的反应速率方程。

Iran supports a great share of exotic and/or endemic plant genera and species. The genus Fritillaria(Liliaceae) is a precious part of this botanical richness with 19 species, of which 10 are endemic to the country. however, signs are mounting that the country is truly at a crossroads when it comes to preservation of this national wealth. In this regard, an effective conservation strategy should thoroughly consider the classification of Fritillaria, as conservation practices are compromised by knowledge gaps in systematics and taxonomy. As published studies on Fritillaria in Iran have been sporadic and limited in scope, the aim of this review is to provide information necessary to help bridge these information *** objective is to facilitate increased understanding of the geographic, taxonomic, cytogenetic and phylogenetic status of Iranian Fritilloria, which is vital to meeting the goal of sustainable conservation of the genus in Iran and neighboring areas.

Quadratic Programming (QP) is a mathematical modeling technique designed to optimize the usage of limited resources and has been widely applied to solve real world problems. In conventional quadratic programming model the parameters are known constants. however in many practical situations, it is not reasonable to require that the constraints or the objective function in quadratic programming problems be specified in precise, crisp terms. In such situations, it is desirable to use some type of Fuzzy Quadratic Programming (FQP) problem. In this paper a new approach is proposed to derive the fuzzy objective value of fuzzy quadratic programming problem, where the constraints coefficients and the right-hand sides are all triangular fuzzy numbers. The proposed method is solved using MATLABTM toolbox and the numerical results are presented.

A carbon paste electrode modified with carbon nanotubes and ferrocene was *** electrochemical study of the modified electrode and an investigation into its efficiency for the electrocatalytic oxidation of benserazide,uric acid and folic acid were *** electrode was also used to study the electrocatalytic oxidation of benserazide using cyclic voltammetry,chronoamperometry,and square wave voltammetry(SWV).We found that the oxidation of benserazide at the surface of the modified electrode occurs at a potential about 285 mV lower than that of unmodified carbon paste *** gave a linear dynamic range from 8.0×10-7 to 7.0×10 4 mol/*** detection limit was 1.0×10-7 mol/L for *** modified electrode was used for the determination of benserazide,uric acid,and folic acid in an urine sample.

MicroRNAs （miRNAs） are 19-24 nucleotide non-coding ribonucleic acids binding DNA or RNA and controlling gene expression via mRNA degradation or its transcription inhibition. Erythropoies is a multi step differentiation process of erythroid progenitors to nucleate red blood cells. Maturation, proliferation and differentiation of red blood cells is affected by erythroid factors, signaling pathways in niche of hematopoietic cells, transcription factors as well as miRNAs. Expression of different types of miRNAs during erythroid development provides a background for the study of these molecules to control erythroid differentiation and maturation as well as their use as diagnostic and prognostic markers to treat erythroid disorders like thalassemia, sickle cell disease and erythrocyte enzyme deficiencies. In this paper, with reference to biosynthesis of miRNAs, their function in normal and anemic erythropoiesis has been investigated. The target molecule of each of these miRNAs has been cited in an attempt to elucidate their role in erythropoiesis.

AIM: To evaluate different methods in differentiating idiopathic neonatal hepatitis from biliary atresia. METhODS: Sixty-five infants with cholestatic jaundice and final diagnosis of idiopathic neonatal hepatitis and biliary atresia were studied prospectively from September 2003 to March 2006. A thorough history and physical examination were undertaken and the liver enzymes were examined. All cases underwent abdominal ultrasonography, hepatobiliary scintigraphy, and percutaneous liver biopsy. The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity and predictive values of these various methods were compared. RESULTS: There were 34 girls and 31 boys, among them 46 subjects had idiopathic neonatal hepatitis (age, 61 ± 17 d) and 19 had biliary atresia (age, 64 ± 18 d). The mean age at onset of jaundice was significantly lower in cases of biliary atresia when compared to idiopathic neonatal hepatitis cases (9 ± 13 d vs 20 ± 21 d; P = 0.032). The diagnostic accuracy of different methods was as follows: liver biopsy, 96.9%; clinical evaluation, 70.8%; ultrasonography, 69.2%; hepatobiliary scintigraphy, 58.5%; and liver enzymes, 50.8%.CONCLUSION: Our results indicate that clinical evaluation by an experienced pediatric hepatologist and a biopsy of the liver are considered as the most reliable methods to differentiate idiopathic neonatal hepatitis and biliary atresia.
