Silver nanoparticles with different sizes have been prepared by microemulsion and have been surface-modified with *** spin resonance results indicate that there exist some kinds of surface local paramagnetic sites in capped Ag nanoparticles,which leads to the relation between electron spin resonance parameters and particle size deviating from Kawabata's *** a strong interaction between nanosilver and *** smaller the particles,the stronger the *** electron microscopy and ultravilolet-visible absorption spectra confirmed that Ag nanoparticles are well dispersed in chloroform,implying that a good dispersity of Ag nanoparticles in polymers could be obtained by means of solution mixing by using chloroform as the solvent.

Although non-small cell lung cancer （NSCLC） can metastasize to almost any organ, metastasis to the gallbladder with significant clinical manifestation is relatively rare. Here, we report a case of gallbladder metastasis of NSCLC presenting as acute cholecystitis. A 79-year-old man presented with pain in the right upper quadrant and fever. A computed tomography （CT） scan of the chest and abdomen showed a cavitary mass in the right lower lobe of the lung and irregular wall thickening of the gallbladder. Open cholecystectomy and needle biopsy of the lung mass were performed. Histological examination of the gallbladder revealed a moderately-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma displaying the same morphology as the lung mass assessed by needle biopsy. Subsequent immunohistochemical examination of the gallbladder and lung tissue showed that the tumor cells were positive for P63 but negative for cytokeratin 7, cytokeratin 20 and thyroid transcription factor-1. A second primary tumor of the gallbladder was excluded by immunohistochemical methods, and the final pathological diagnosis was gallbladder metastasis of NSCLC. Although the incidence is extremely rare, acute cholecystitis can occur in association with lung cancer metastasis to the gallbladder.

The conversion efficiency of energy-harvesting devices can be increased by utilizing hot-carriers(HCs).However,due to ultrafast carrier-carrier scattering and the lack of carrier injection dynamics,HC-based devices have low *** the present work,we report the effective utilization of HCs at the nanoscale and their transfer dynamics from a non-noble metal to a metal oxide interface by means of real-space photocurrent mapping by using local probe techniques and conducting femtosecond transient absorption(TA)*** photocurrent maps obtained under white light unambiguously show that the HCs are injected into the metal oxide layer from the TiN layer,as also confirmed by conductive atomic force *** addition,the increased photocurrent in the bilayer structure indicates the injection of HCs from both layers due to the broadband absorption efficiency of TiN layer,passivation of the surface states by the top TiN layer,and smaller barrier height of the ***,electrostatic force microscopy and Kelvin probe force microscopy provide direct evidence of charge injection from TiN to the MoO_(x)film at the *** TA absorption spectra show a strong photo-bleaching signal over wide spectral range and ultrafast decaying behavior at the picosecond time scale,which indicate efficient electron transfer from TiN to MoO_(x).Thus,our simple and effective approach can facilitate HC collection under white light,thereby achieving high conversion efficiency for optoelectronic devices.

Potassium （K^＋） is one of the essential macronutrients for plant growth and development. K^＋ uptake from environment and K^＋ translocation in plants are conducted by K^＋ channels and transporters. In this study, we demonstrated that KT/HAK/KUP transporter KUP7 plays crucial roles in K^＋ uptake and translocation in Arabidopsis root. The kup7 mutant exhibited a sensitive phenotype on Iow-K^＋ medium, whose leaves showed chlorosis symptoms compared with wild-type plants. Loss of function of KUP7 led to a reduction of K^＋ uptake rate and K^＋ content in xylem sap under W-deficient conditions. Thus, the K^＋ content in kup7 shoot was significantly reduced under Iow-K^＋ conditions. Localization analysis revealed that KUP7 was predominantly targeted to the plasma membrane. The complementation assay in yeast suggested that KUP7 could mediate K^＋ transport. In addition, phosphorylation on S80, S719, and S721 was important for KUP7 activity. KUP7 was ubiquitously expressed in many organs/tissues, and showed a higher expression level inArabidopsis root. Together, our data demonstrated that KUP7 is crucial for K^＋ uptake inArabidopsis root and might be also involved in K^＋ transport into xylem sap, affecting K^＋ translocation from root toward shoot, especially under K^＋-Iimited conditions.

Taking the Lindemann model as a sample system in which there exist chemical reactions, diffusion and heat conduction, we found the theoretical framework of linear stability analysis for a unidimensional nonhomogeneous two-variable system with one end subject to Dirichlet conditions, while the other end no-flux conditions. Furthermore, the conditions for the emergence of temperature waves are found out by the linear stability analysis and verified by a diagram for successive steps of evolution of spatial profile of temperature during a period that is plotted by numerical simulations on a computer. Without doubt, these results are in favor of the heat balance in chemical reactor designs.

Coastal wetlands are located in the ecotone of interaction between the land surface and sea,and anthropogenic activities extensively interfere with these wetlands through the reclamation of large tidal wetlands and destruction of the function of the *** this study,we investigated the dynamic evolutionary characteristics of the Bohai Rim coastal area over the past 40 years using the Modified Normalized Difference Water Index,the fractal dimension,object-oriented classification,the land-use transfer trajectory,and regression ***,we quantified and monitored the evolution of reclamation and analyzed the correlation between reclamation and coastal wetlands based on 99 Landsat-2,-5,and-8 images(at 60 m and 30 m spatial resolution) over the period 1980–*** results are as follows.(1) The coastline of the Bohai Rim increased by 1 631.2 km from 1980 to2019 with a zigzag *** artificial coastline increased by 2 946.1 km,whereas the natural coastline decreased by 90%.(2) The area of man-made wetlands increased by 3 736.9 km~2,the area of construction land increased by 1 008.4 km~2,and the natural wetland area decreased by 66%.The decrease of tidal flats is the main contributor to the decrease of natural wetland area(takes account for 91.1%).Coastal areas are affected by intense human disturbance,which was taken place across a large area of tidal flats and caused the landscape to fragment and be more *** coastal zone development activities were primarily concentrated in the southern Laizhou Bay,the Yellow River Delta,the Bohai Bay,the northern Liaodong Bay,and the Pulandian *** solidified shorelines and increase in sea level have resulted in intertidal wetlands decreasing and impaired wetland ecology.(3) There is a good agreement between reclamation and the size of the coastal *** land reclamation and the reduction in coastal wetland areas are significantly related to the population size,fishery output value,a

A novel amphiphilic β-cyclodextrin/poly（L-aspartate）（β-CD-PASP） copolymer was prepared by ringopening polymerization of polysuccinimide（PSI）. This copolymer bears β-CD units along the macromolecular chain and the structure was characterized by infrared（IR） and proton nuclear magnetic resonance（Ill NMR）. The molecular weight of the copolymer was determined by gel permeation chromatography（GPC）. The copolymer micelle were prepared by direct dissolution method. The critical micelle concentration（CMC） of the copolymer micelle was measured by flourescence technique with pyrene as probe. The size distribution of micelle was characterized on a dy- namic laser light scattering particle size analyzer and its shape was observed by transmission electron microscopy（TEM）. The results show that the copolymer could self-assemble into micelle with a low CMC, and the effective diameter of the micelle was 116.3 nm. The methotrexate（MTX）-loaded micelle were prepared and the drug loading content（DLC） was 22.86%. The MTX-loaded cooolvmer exhibited a better water-solubility than the free drug.

Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor （INT） of the stomach in adults is extremely rare, with unpredictable prognosis. We present a 55-year-old woman with a gastric IMT. She experienced sudden abdominal pain 4 d previously. Physical examination showed mild abdominal tenderness in the hypogastrium, but no palpable abnormal abdominal mass. Abdominal CT showed a mass of approximately 8 cm in the gastrocolic ligament. On laparoscopic exploration, unexpected hemoperitoneum of approximately 1.5 L of blood was found, and an exophytic gastric mass of approximately 10 cm, appeared from the anterior wall of the gastric body along the greater curvature. Laparoscopy further showed that non- clotting blood in the abdominal cavity seemed to be from the gastric tumor. After conversion to open surgery for more precise evaluation of the cause of hemoperitoneum and the large friable tumor, gastric wedge resection, including the tumor, was conducted. The final diagnosis was consistent with IMT that originated from the gastric wall.
