This article is devoted to the key concept of modern electrodynamics—the invariance of the speed of light. The general principle of relativity is considered in detail. Some critical remarks to the relativistic invariance and to the Lorentz transformations are presented. The general invariance of Maxwell equations is discussed. Different theoretical expectations for possible results of Michelson-Morley experiment and some physical consequences are considered. Some critical remarks to the notion of the light speed and its constancy are given. The relativistic law for velocity addition, including strangeness of a noncollinear addition and a superluminal motion, is discussed. Critical analysis of two works which proof the need for existence of an invariant velocity is consequentially made.

Higher-order topological insulators(HOTIs)are unique materials hosting topologically protected states,whose dimensionality is at least by 2 lower than that of the *** states in such insulators may be strongly confined in their corners which leads to considerable enhancement of nonlinear processes involving such ***,all nonlinear HOTIs demonstrated so far were built on periodic bulk lattice ***,we demonstrate the first nonlinear photonic HOTI with the fractal *** their fractional effective dimensionality,the HOTIs constructed here on two different types of the Sierpiński gasket waveguide arrays,may support topological corner states for unexpectedly wide range of coupling strengths,even in parameter regions where conventional HOTIs become *** demonstrate thresholdless spatial solitons bifurcating from corner states in nonlinear fractal HOTIs and show that their localization can be efficiently controlled by the input beam *** observe sharp differences in nonlinear light localization on outer and multiple inner corners and edges representative for these fractal *** findings not only represent a new paradigm for nonlinear topological insulators,but also open new avenues for potential applications of fractal materials to control the light flow.

The large reserves ofoil are disposed in zones of permafrost in shelf and continental fields. In Europe the subarctic and arctic tundra are abundant only in nenetsky autonomous area and in the north-east of the republic of Komi. Oil and gas production activity has threatened richest biological resources and health of the population of the region. A singularity of petroliferous fields of the north of Russia is the existence of the thick strata of permafrost. On top of them different heat-insulating overlying layers （snow, biogenic covers） reside. State and dynamics of permafrost cause progressing dangerous exogenic geoecological processes, which are exhibited completely. State of permafrost is instituted by exchange of heat in near-surface strata of a geological section. During the development of oil fields there is a disturbance of a temperature schedule of permafrost. For estimation of technical attack the analytical computational method of influence of the different factors on value of annual heat exchange and prediction of geocryological conditions is proposed. It is shown, that such dangerous phenomena as degradation of permafrost and thermokarst would develop in the first place, which would cause the destruction of natural ecosystems.

BACKGROUnD Early initiation of enteral feeding is recognized to play a crucial role in improving the outcomes of treatment of acute ***,the method of adminis-tration of enteral nutrition remains *** present the experience of treating a patient with moderate-severe acute pancreatitis,at high risk of progressing to a severe or fatal condition,using a novel method of selective feeding with duodenal *** SUMMARY A 27-year-old female patient presented to the emergency unit of the hospital with a typical manifestation of acute *** a conventional treatment,the patient’s condition deteriorated by day 2 of *** an endoscopic approach,a novel catheter PandiCathffwas placed to the duodenum of the patient,isolating its segment between the duodenal bulb and the ligament of *** the isolated area created,a negative pressure was applied,followed by introduction of early selective enteral *** patient’s condition subsequently improved in a rapid manner,and no complications often associated with moderate-to-severe acute pancreatitis *** Within 48 h of starting treatment with the novel method,it can prevent the development of multiple organ failure and,when combined with minimally invasive drainage methods,help prevent infection.

In the development of the composite gas separation membranes for post-combustion CO_2 capture, little attention is focused on the optimization of the membrane supports, which satisfy the conditions of this technology. The primary requirements to the membrane supports are concerned with their high CO_2 permeance. In this work, the membrane supports with desired characteristics were developed as high-permeance gas separation thin film composite(TFC) membranes with the thin defect-free layer from the crosslinked highly permeable polymer, poly[1-(trimethylsilyl)-1-propyne](PTMSP). This layer is insoluble in chloroform and can be used as a gutter layer for the further deposition of the CO_2-selective materials from the organic solvents. Crosslinking of PTMSP was performed using polyethyleneimine(PEI) and poly(ethyleneglycol) diglycidyl ether(PEGDGE) as crosslinking agents. Optimal concentrations of PEI in PTMSP and PEGDGE in methanol were selected in order to diminish the undesirable effect on the final membrane gas transport characteristics. The conditions of the kiss-coating technique for the deposition of the thin defect-free PTMSP-based layer, namely, composition of the casting solution and the speed of movement of the porous commercial microfiltration-grade support, were optimized. The procedure of post-treatment with alcohols and alcohol solutions was shown to be crucial for the improvement of gas permeance of the membranes with the crosslinked PTMSP layer having thickness ranging within 1-2.5 μm. The claimed membranes showed the following characteristics: CO_2 permeance is equal to 50—54 m^3(STP)/(m^2 h bar)(18,500—20,000 GPU), ideal CO_2/n_2 selectivity is 3.6-3.7, and their selective layers are insoluble in chloroform. Thus, the developed highpermeance TFC membranes are considered as a promising supports for further modification by enhanced CO_2 selective layer formation.

For the first time, a highly crystalline porous shish-kebab structure with a high degree of crystallinity was obtained by using a combination of two methods for the formation of porous polymeric materials. A treatment procedure using supercritical carbon dioxide(sc CO_(2))was carried out for oriented ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE) films, which provided special conditions for the crystallization of dissolved UHMWPE macromolecules on the surface of oriented UHMWPE crystals. The prepared porous materials were investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). The particularity of the obtained porous shish-kebab is the absence of the amorphous phase between lamellar crystals(kebabs). The obtained pores had an oval shape, and they were oriented in the orientation direction of the UHMWPE macromolecules. The pore size ranged from 0.05 μm to 4 μm. Controlling the conditions for the crystallization of the UHMWPE macromolecules using supercritical CO_(2) gives the possibility to control the size of both lamellar disks and pores formed.

Introduction of controllable deformations into periodic materials that lead to disclinations in their structure opens novel routes for construction of higher-order topological insulators hosting topological states at *** of these topological states is consistent with the bulk-disclination correspondence principle,and is due to the filling anomaly that results in fractional charges to the boundary unit *** far,topological disclination states were observed only in the linear regime,while the interplay between nonlinearity and topology in the systems with disclinations has been never studied *** report here on the experimental observation of the nonlinear photonic disclination states in waveguide arrays with pentagonal or heptagonal disclination cores inscribed in transparent optical medium using the fs-laser writing *** transition between nontopological and topological phases in such structures is controlled by the Kekulédistortion coefficient r with topological phase hosting simultaneously disclination states at the inner disclination core and spatially separated from them corner-I,corner-II,and extended edge states at the outer edge of the *** show that the robust nonlinear disclination states bifurcate from their linear counterparts and that location of their propagation constants in the gap and,hence,their spatial localization can be controlled by their *** disclination states can be efficiently excited by Gaussian input beams,but only if they are focused into the waveguides belonging to the disclination core,where such topological states *** results open new prospects for investigation of nonlinear effects in topological systems with disclinations and are relevant for different areas of science,including Bose-Einstein and polariton condensates,where potentials with the disclinations can be created.
