＜正＞The steadily increasing numbers and lengths of traffic jams on freeways have led to the use of Dynamic Traffic Management（DTM） measures all over the *** metering control has proven to be one of the most efficient means to reduce freeway *** is expected that integrated and coordinated application of DTM measures will further improve its impact. This paper studies a new coordinated ramp metering control algorithm called HERO/*** algorithm has been developed for the current Dutch ramp metering systems and it will be applied on the Amsterdam A10 freeway network in the near *** aim of this algorithm is to postpone congestion on freeways by effectively using ramp storage space from upstream *** control scheme is simple and real-time ***-based microscopic simulation results show that the HERO/RWS coordinated control outperforms non-coordinated *** control algorithm turns out to provide less congestion,higher mean speeds and lower travel time spent on the freeway.

The natural neighbour method can be considered as one of many variants of the meshless methods. In the present paper, a new approach based on the Fraeijs de Veubeke （FdV） functional, which is initially developed for linear elasticity, is extended to the case of geometrically linear but materially non-linear solids. The new approach provides an original treatment to two classical problems： the numerical evaluation of the integrals over the domain A and the enforcement of boundary conditions of the type ui = hi on Su. In the absence of body forces （Fi = 0）, it will be shown that the calculation of integrals of the type fA .dA can be avoided and that boundary conditions of the type ui = hi on Su can be imposed in the average sense in general and exactly if hi is linear between two contour nodes, which is obviously the case for tTi = O.

This paper reports the electrochemical properties of sulpiride at a mercury electrode, especially its adsorptive characteristic. Sulpiride dissolved in a supporting electrolyte of a McIlvaine buffer at pH 6 8 represents a sensitive and well defined reduction wave by linear sweep stripping voltammetry. This method is based on the pre concentration and the reduction of sulpiride at a hung mercury drop electrode. The reduction peak potential is -1 72 V( vs . Ag AgCl) and the peak current is proportional to the concentration of sulpiride in the range of 0 1-0 6 μg/mL. The detection limit is 0 025 μg/mL obtained under the experimental conditions selected in this work. The electrochemical properties of this system were investigated, and the proposed method was applied to the determination of sulpiride in pharmaceutical tablets with satisfactory results. It was compared well with the UV spectrophotometric method, showing a superior sensitivity.

Resistant bacteria can be transmitted to humans through feces or contaminated meat from local chickens. Bacterial strains were isolated from the intestinal contents of 400 local chicken samples from various sales sites. These strains were then characterized using bacteriological and biochemical methods to identify resistant strains. In a study conducted in Ouagadougou, we systematically collected chicken fecal samples from 20 locations across the city, followed by isolation and identification of Salmonella spp. using specific enrichment and culture methods, as well as Escherichia coli. Bacterial strains were characterized using antibiotic resistance profiles were determined through agar diffusion tests, revealing sensitivity or resistance to a range of antibiotics based on established scientific criteria. The results showed that out of the 400 samples collected, 81.25% and 63.5% were contaminated by Escherichia coli and Salmonella spp., respectively. Among these, 86.15% of identified Escherichia coli and 50.78% of Salmonella spp. displayed resistance to at least one tested antibiotic. Among 280 Escherichia coli isolates identified resistant to at least one antibiotic, 31.07% were resistant to cefotaxime (CTX), 20.35% to ceftazidime (CAZ), 21.07% to ceftriaxone (CTR), 75% to amoxicillin clavulanic acid (AMC), 23.57% aztreoname (ATM) and 27.14% were resistant to imipenem (IMp). In the case of the 129 Salmonella spp. isolates resistant to at least one tested antibiotic, 34.88% were resistant to CTX;41.08% to CAZ;35.65% to CTR, 92% to AMC, 39.53% to ATM and finally 47.28% were resistant to IMp. Our study revealed high prevalence of resistance in bacterial strains isolated from local chickens sold outdoors in Ouagadougou. These findings raise significant public health concerns, due to the possible transmission of these resistant strains to humans through the consumption of contaminated meat, thus complicating the treatment of bacterial infections.

Diastasis of the symphysis pubis is a rare postpartum complication. We report two cases of symphysis diastasis after dystocic delivery, in two patients who presented in the postpartum period with functional impotence, pubalgia and acute urine retention. A frontal radiograph of the pelvis confirmed the diagnosis, showing a symphyseal separation of 12 mm and 18 mm. In our case, management was mainly medical, with a favorable clinical outcome.

Nanostructured known to exhibit properties metal surfaces have been that deviate from that of the bulk material. By simply modifying the texture of a metal surface, various unique optical properties can be observed. In this paper, we present a simple two step electrochemical process combining electrodeposition and anodization to generate black gold surfaces. This process is simple, versatile and up-scalable for the production of large surfaces. The black gold films have remarkable optical behavior as they absorb more than 93% of incident light over the entire visible spectrum and also exhibit no specular reflectance. A careful analysis by scanning electron microscopy reveals that these unique optical properties are due to their randomly rough surface, as they consist in a forest of dendritic microstructures with a nanoscale roughness. This new type of black films can be fabricated to a large variety of substrates, turning them to super absorbers with potential applications in photovoltaic solar cells or highly sensitive detectors and so on.

The structural changes brought about by shale oil revolution have inspired this paper of which the aim is to analyze the potential asymmetries related to the determinants of crude oil production in the ***,using a Markov-switching dynamic regression model in which parameters change when oil production moves from one regime to the other,it is found that for both oil production and oil relative importance,the regime that was dominant during the 1980s and the early 1990s when oil production in the USA was substantially high is the same regime that has once again become dominant in the decade corresponding to the shale oil ***,the study reveals the existence of asymmetries in the relationship between US crude oil production and both manufacturing production and the consumer price *** are also found in the relationship between the relative importance US crude oil and manufacturing ***,it is found that the intercept and the variance parameter also vary from one regime to the other,thus justifying the use of regime-dependent models.
