Fingerprint-Based Millimeter-Wave Beam Selection for Interference Mitigation in Beamspace Multi-User MIMO Communications

Millimeter-wave communications are suitable for application to massive multiple-input multiple-output systems in order to satisfy the ever-growing data traffic demands of the next-generation wireless ***,their practical deployment is hindered by the high cost of complex hardware,such as radio frequency(RF)*** this end,operation in the beamspace domain,through beam selection,is a viable ***,the conventional beam selection schemes focus on the feedback and exhaustive search *** addition,since the same beam in the beamspace may be assigned to a different user,conventional beam selection schemes suffer serious multi-user *** addition,some RF chains may be wasted,since they do not contribute to the sum-rate ***,a fingerprint-based beam selection scheme is proposed to solve these *** proposed scheme conducts offline group-based fingerprint database construction and online beam selection to mitigate multi-user *** the offline phase,the contributing users with the same best beam are *** grouping,a fingerprint database is created for each *** the online phase,beam selection is performed for purposes of interference mitigation using the information contained in the group-based fingerprint *** simulation results confirm that the proposed beam selection scheme can achieve a signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio and sum-rate performance which is close to those of a fully digital system,and having much higher energy efficiency.

Pig farmers want to have an effective solution for automatically detecting and tracking multiple pigs and alerting their conditions in order to recognize disease risk factors *** this paper,therefore,we propose a novel monitoring system using an Artificial Intelligence of Things(AIoT)technique combining artificial intelligence and Internet of Things(IoT).The proposed system consists of AIoT edge devices and a central monitoring ***,an AIoT edge device extracts video frame images from a CCTV camera installed in a pig pen by a frame extraction method,detects multiple pigs in the images by a faster region-based convolutional neural network(RCNN)model,and tracks them by an object center-point tracking algorithm(OCTA)based on bounding box regression outputs of the faster ***,it sends multi-pig tracking images to the central monitoring server,which alerts them to pig farmers through a social networking service(SNS)agent in cooperation with an oneM2M-compliant IoT alerting *** results showed that the multi-pig tracking method achieved the multi-object tracking accuracy performance of about 77%.In addition,we verified alerting operation by confirming the images received in the SNS smartphone application.

Study on SCR De NO_x mechanism through in situ electrical conductivity measurements on V_2O_5-WO_3/TiO_2 catalysts

V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalysts were prepared by impregnation method and in situ electrical conductivity measurements were carried out to investigate the reaction mechanism for ammonia SCR (selective catalytic reduction) of NOx. The electrical conductivity change with ammonia supply and the increase of electrical conductivity were mainly caused by reduction of the labile surface oxygen. The electrical conductivity change of catalysts shows close relationship with the conversion rate of NOx. Variation of conversion rate in atmosphere without gaseous oxygen also supports that the labile lattice oxygen is indispensable in the initial stage of the de NOx reaction. These results suggest that the liable lattice oxygen acts decisive role in the de NOx mechanism. They also support that De NOx reaction occurs through the Eley-Rideal type mechanism. The amount of labile oxygen can be estimated from the measurement of electrical conductivity change for catalysts with ammonia supply.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of acupunc ture with dexamethasone(***)on allergic rhini tis(AR)by injecting dexamethasone into the Zusan li(ST 36)***:Thirty 6-week-old female BALB/c mice were sensitized on days 1,5,and 14 by intraperitoneal injection of 100 pg of ovalbumin(OVA).The mice were then randomly divided into six groups(n =5 in each group).Five groups were sensitized intranasally with 2μL of 1.5 mg of OVA for 10 consecutive days,while one group was sensitized intranasally with PBS in a similar manner as a negative control *** hour before each administration of intranasal OVA,two groups were orally administered either a control vehicle(distilled water;AR control group)or 200 pg/kg Dex(*** group),while three groups received *** at Zusanli(ST36)with Dex concentrations of 2,20,and 200μg/kg for each group,*** symptoms were evaluated by measuring the rubbing score,which comprised the number of nose,ear,and eye rubs that occurred in the initial 10 min after OVA intranasal provocation on the 10 th *** isolated spleen,serum,and nasal mucosal tissue after measuring the rubbing *** weight was measured using an electronic *** levels of IgE,thymic stromal lymphopoietin,tumor necrosis factor-a,intercellular adhesion molecule-1,and macrophage-inflammatory protein-2 in serum or nasal mucosal tissue were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** serum histamine levels of OVA-sensitized AR mice were measured using O-phthaldialdehyde *** blot analysis was performed on nasal mucosal tissue ***:*** significantly reduced the rubbing score,spleen weight,serum IgE,and serum histamine in OVA-sensitized *** significantly decreased the serum levels of inflammatory cytokines(thymic stromal lymphopoietin and tumor necrosis factor-a)in OVA-sensitized *** significantly reduced the nasal mucosal levels of inflammatory markers(intercellular adhesion molecule-l

The techniques to forecast available parking space(APS) are indispensable components for parking guidance systems(PGS). According to the data collected in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, the changing characteristics of APS were studied. Thereafter, aiming to build up a multi-step APS forecasting model that provides richer information than a conventional one-step model, the largest Lyapunov exponents(largest LEs) method was introduced into PGS. By experimental tests conducted using the same dataset, its prediction performance was compared with traditional wavelet neural network(WNN) method in both one-step and multi-step processes. Based on the results, a new multi-step forecasting model called WNN-LE method was proposed, where WNN, which enjoys a more accurate performance along with a better learning ability in short-term forecasting, was applied in the early forecast steps while the Lyapunov exponent prediction method in the latter steps precisely reflect the chaotic feature in latter forecast period. The MSE of APS forecasting for one hour time period can be reduced from 83.1 to 27.1(in a parking building with 492 berths) by using largest LEs method instead of WNN and further reduced to 19.0 by conducted the new method.

Recently the antichromosome antisera from several scleroderma patients have been found to recognize the pellicle of metaphase and anaphase chromosomes. In order to identify the pellicle components, we used these antichromosome antisera to screen a human embryonic cDNA library. The sequences of the positive clones are identical to the cDNA gene sequence of CENP-C (centromere protein C), a human centromere autoantigen. This result suggusts that CENP-C is a component of the pellicle of human metaphase and anaphase chromosomes.

本文综述《中国应用语言学》2013 年特刊所探讨的主要理论构念,包括外语和二语教育的自主性(autonomy)、能动性(agency)与身份认同(identity)。我们首先深入探讨和比较自主性和能动性这两个相似概念的复杂意义。自主性的讨论从 Benson (2011) 对自主性的宽阔定义("capacity to take control of one’s own learning")展开,目的在于深入发掘 capacity和 control 各自多层面的涵义以及同时简要解释相关理论及教育实践问题如"可用特性"(affordances)和学习者过程规划(learner agendas)等。在深入审视能动性这一概念的基础上,我们提出自主性和能动性最好被视为相关而相异的两个概念,相异之处在于对教—学过程的有效控制程度。自主性和能动性两个密切相关的概念经过仔细梳理后,我们转向讨论另一个重要相关概念,即外语和二语教育的身份认同。文章最后探讨自主性、能动性和身份认同这些主要概念在语言教育中的相互关系。

本行动研究调查作为教学策略的"互教互学"(peer teaching,又译"同侪教学")在提高职前二语教师自主性意识上的作用。本研究通过课堂观察、焦点小组访谈、问卷调查等手段 (a) 探讨职前教师(师范学生)如何具体实施互教互学,以及如何看待互教互学在自己今后的教学生涯中的相关性 ;(b) 从学生角度审视互教互学的主要收获和挑战。大多数学生能积极参与互教互学的过程,并认为这一教学策略可能会在自己以后的教学中使用。在互教互学过程中涌现的一系列问题,如对教学元素的认知、互相学习的机会、文化的多样性以及英语作为授课语言等等,给学生带来了益处,也带来了挑战。本文指出,有关如何提升职前教师自主性的研究可以专注于职前教师一系列自主性教学策略的亲身经历对他们将来教学的长期影响。
