The back pain is the most common injury in human activities where heavy objects must be lifted or must be suspended for a long time.A weight lifting exoskeleton also known as force augmentation exoskeleton is designed to reduce the strain on the back and the limbs and reduce the risk to suffer *** the other hand,different kinds of controllers have been implemented to achieve whit this goal,for example,a conventional PD Control,PD Control with Gravity Compensation,PD Control with Adaptive Desired Gravity Compensation and PD Control with Robust *** paper aims to evaluate and compare the performance from the previously cited controllers used to reduce the strain in the back,through the implementation of each controller in a three Degrees Of Freedom(DOF)exoskeleton powered by pneumatic muscle actuators;some numerical simulations as well as experimental trials have been conducted and three different performance indices were used in order to determine the effectiveness of each one with respect to the simple PD controller when the mass to be lifted is unknown.

Performance prediction in preliminary design stages of several turbomachinery components is a critical task in order to bring the design processes of these devices to a successful conclusion. In this paper, a review and analysis of the major loss mechanisms and loss models, used to determine the efficiency of a single stage centrifugal compressor, and a subsequent examination to determine an appropriate loss correlation set for estimating the isentropic efficiency in preliminary design stages of centrifugal compressors, were developed. Several semi-empirical correlations,commonly used to predict the efficiency of centrifugal compressors, were implemented in FORTRAN code and then were compared with experimental results in order to establish a loss correlation set to determine, with good approximation, the isentropic efficiency of single stage *** aim of this study is to provide a suitable loss correlation set for determining the isentropic efficiency of a single stage centrifugal compressor, because, with a large amount of loss mechanisms and correlations available in the literature, it is difficult to ascertain how many and which correlations to employ for the correct prediction of the efficiency in the preliminary stage design of a centrifugal compressor. As a result of this study, a set of correlations composed by nine loss mechanisms for single stage centrifugal compressors, conformed by a rotor and a diffuser, are specified.

Gastric cancer(GC)represents a leading cause of cancer related morbidity and mortality worldwide accounting for more than 1 million of newly diagnosed cases and thousands of deaths every *** the last decade,the development of targeted therapies and the optimization of already available chemotherapeutic drugs has expanded the available treatment options for advanced GC and granted better survival expectations to the *** the same time,global efforts have been undertaken to investigate in detail the genomic and epigenomic heterogeneity of this disease,resulting in the identification of new specific and sensitive predictive and prognostic biomarkers and in innovative molecular classifications based on gene expression ***,several randomized studies aimed at exploring new innovative agents,such as immune checkpoint inhibitors,failed to demonstrate clinically meaningful survival ***,it is essential to further improve the molecular characterization of GC subgroups in order to provide researchers and medical oncologists with new tools for patients’selection and stratification in future clinical development programs and subsequent *** aim of the present manuscript is to provide a global overview of the recent molecular classifications from The Cancer Genome Atlas and the Asian Cancer Research Group and to present key promising developments in the field of immunotherapy and targeted therapies in metastatic GC.

In Argentina, at Central Andes Eastside, Cumbres Calchaquies, Aconquija Range and Ambato Block constitute a mountain chain that erects about 5,000 masl. Its geological story reveals morphotectonic and magmatic processes are similar to the Pampean Ranges at which they belong to, giving origin to mineralized areas. Geochemical concentrations of trace metals （Cu, Pb, Zn, Mn, Mo, As） in stream sediments are related to the geology and mineral manifestations of the area. Geochemical high average concentration of Cu, Pb and Mo are observed in all ranges. It highlights the presence of As in Cumbres Calchaquies-Aconquija Range and Zn, Mn in the mountains of Aconquija Range-Ambato Block. It was determined that Cu-Zn-Mn complex is adsorbed or precipitated most frequently by Mn oxides. Complex Pb-Zn, Mn-As, Mo-As and Pb-Mo are absorbed by other agents （clay; oxides of Mn, Fe, AI; organic matter）.

This paper presents the method for the performance calibration of AACMM （articulated arm coordinate measuring machines） according to ASME B89.4.22 Standard. The growing use of this class of measurement equipment has been accompanied by an absence of authorized laboratories to provide calibration certificates for its performance. Due to ASME B89.4.22 and VD12617-9 are nowadays the unique standards in the field of AACMM verification, IK4 Tekniker has compared both of them in order to develop internal test procedures to yield reliable performance calibration results. As a result, IK4 Tekniker has been recognized by the Spanish Accreditation Body （ENAC） in the field of AACMM calibration. Internal test procedures and uncertainty evaluation analysis have been developed as well as ENAC certificated reference test equipments have been acquired to ensure a suitable AACMM calibration process.

This work presents the authors＇ experience in the field of mobile technologies, from which several initiatives have emerged. As result of this, a games-based framework for learning has been developed in these last years. This framework is composed by a competition called Mobigame, which has as main aim to stimulate the participation of the students. By participating in this competition participants learn to develop for mobile devices. A game to practice Japanese is also presented in this article, which was presented in the above mentioned competition. This game has been developed for mobile phones or PDAs （Personal Digital Assistants） based on the JME （Java Mobile Edition） technology. Finally, another initiative is also presented： A free download platform of digital contents for mobile devices based on info-educational games.

Cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6(CDK4/6)inhibitors demonstrated activity in terms of progression-free survival(PFS)in advanced dedifferentiated liposarcoma(DD-LPS),a sarcoma with CDK4 ***4 overexpression is by far more common than amplification in sarcomas and it might be a rational target for CDK *** investigators of this study found that CDK4 overexpression,while not of CDKN2A,was the most consistent predictive factor for palbociclib efficacy in *** adult-type soft-tissue sarcoma,excluding DD-LPS,or bone sarcoma patients,progressing after at least one systemic line,whose tumors overexpressed CDK4,but not CDKN2A at baseline biopsy,were accrued in this single-arm phase II trial(EudraCT number:2016-004039-19).With the main endpoint of a 6-month PFS rate,40%was considered promising in this *** was administered orally at 125 mg/day for 21 days in 28-day cycles.A total of 214 patients with 236 CDK4/CDKN2A determinations were assessed for prescreening,archival material(141),and screening,baseline biopsy(95).There were 28(29%)with favorable mRNA profiles from 95 screened patients at *** 23 enrolled patients,21 evaluable,the 6-month PFS rate was 29%(95%CI 9–48),and there were 6 patients out of 21 with a PFS longer than 6 *** median PFS and overall survival were 4.2(95%CI 3.6–4.8)and 12(95%CI 8.7–15.4)months,*** research showed a significant correlation between CDK4 mRNA and protein *** was active in a variety of sarcoma subtypes,selected by CDK4/CDKN2A,and deserves further investigation in the sarcoma context.

Background : Osteoporosis can make bone repair difficult. Low-level laser therapy( LLLT) has been shown to be a promising tool for bone neoformation. This study aimed to analyze the effect of LLLT on calvaria bone defects of ovariectomized rats using stereology. Methods : Fifty-four Wistar rats were subjected to bilateral ovariectomy, and bone defects were created in calvaria after 150 days. The animals were divided into nine groups(n = ?6 per group), and 24 hours after the bone defects were created they received three, six or 12 sessions of LLLT at 0, 20 or 30 J/cm 2, using a 780-nm low-intensity GaAlAs laser. One-way ANOVA followed by Tukey ' s post hoc test was used for data processing. A difference of P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. The parameters evaluated were osteocyte density( Nv_(ost)), total osteocyte number( Nto ost), trabecular surface density( Sv_t), and trabecular surface area( Sa_t). Results : Data obtained showed that Nto ost, Sv t, and Sa t in group G2 rats were significantly different from G1(0 J/cm^2)( P < 0.05). Compared to group G4, G5 presented higher values for the parameters Sv t and Sa t, and G6 presented significantly higher values for almost all the analyzed parameters( Nv _(ost), Nto_(ost), Sv_t, and Sa t)( P < 0.05). Compared to group G7, G8 showed a higher value only for the parameter Sa t, and G9 showed significantly higher values for parameters Nv ost, Nto ost, Sv_t, and Sa_t. Conclusion : We conclude that LLLT stimulated bone neoformation and contributed to an increase in the total number of osteocytes, especially with a laser energy density of 30 J/cm^2 given for six and 12 sessions.
