Impact of replacing egg yolk with lecithin on quality of pre-freeze and post-thaw buffalo spermatozoa

Objective:to estimate the result of egg yolk replacement with alternative cryopreservatives such as plant-derived lecithin from soybean on sperm quality parameters pre and post freezing in buffalo ***: the control cryopreservation extender was tris-citric acid-fructose-egg yolk-glycerol (tCFYG) diluent. Semen samples were extended gradually 1:10 with tCFYG control extender and tris-citric acid-fructose-glycerol (tCFG) extender plus variable concentrations of soybean lecithin (0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0%, 2.5% and 3.0%) to ensure 60 million active spermatozoa/mL of the extended semen. the diluted semen samples were refrigerated slowly (roughly for 2 h) up to 5℃ and equilibrated for 2 h. Semen was filled into 0.25 mL polyvinyl French straws (IMV, France). After equilibration period, the straws were placed horizontally on a rack and frozen in a vapor 4 cm above liquid nitrogen for 10 min and were then dipped stored in liquid nitrogen at -196℃. Results:the respective overall percentages of forward motile spermatozoa, live spermatozoa, morphologically normal spermatozoa, acrosome integrity and hypo-osmotic swelling reactivity observed primarily in fresh semen, after equilibration (pre-freeze stage) and post freezing (post-thaw stage) in tCFYG (control) extended semen declined progressively and statically (Pthese periods of study. Pre-freezing stage: replacement of egg yolk into tCFG with soybean lecithin at concentrations of 1.0% and 1.5% significantly (Pted the maintenance of (motility, viability, acrosome and membrane integrity %), meanwhile it had significantly (Pthe abnormality % of spermatozoa to the lowest value compared to control tCFYG and to some other concentrations in use. Hepatocellular Carcinoma Incidence and Mortality in the USA by Sex, Age, and Race: A Nationwide Analysis of two Decades

Background and Aims:While the incidence rates of hepa-tocellular carcinoma(HCC)are increasing,there are limited comprehensive data on demographic-specific incidence and mortality trends in the *** aimed to evaluate recent trends in HCC incidence and mortality among different de-mographic groups in the ***:Age-adjusted HCC incidence rates were calculated from the Centers for Disease Control's United States Cancer Statistics database,which combines incidence data on newly diagnosed cancer cases and covers approximately 98%of the population in the ***,age-adjusted HCC mortality rates were obtained from the Centers for Disease Control's National Center for Health Statistics database,which offers comprehensive Cov-erage spanning nearly 100%of deaths attributed to HCC in the *** were stratified by sex,age(older[≥55 years]and younger[ts),race and ethnicity(Non-Hispanic White,Non-Hispanic Black,Hispanic,Non-Hispanic Asian/Pacific Islander,and Non-Hispanic American Indian/Alaska Native),and tumor stage at diagnosis(early and late).Annual and average annual percentage change(AAPC)were calculated using joinpoint regression.A sex-specific pairwise comparison was ***:Between 2001 and 2020,there were 467,346 patients diagnosed with HCC(26.0%women),with increasing incidence in both sexes without significant difference(p=0.65).In younger adults(78,169 patients),the incidence decreased in men but not in women(AAPC difference=-2.39,p=0.002).this was seen in various racial and ethnic groups,mostly driven by early-stage tumors(AAPC difference=-2.65,p=0.02).there were 329,973 deaths attributed to HCC between 2000 and 2020(28.4%women).In younger adults(43,093 deaths),mortal-ity decreased in men at a greater rate than in women(AAPC difference=1.61,p=0.007).this was seen in various racial and ethnic groups,most notably in non-Hispanic American Indian/Alaska Natives(AAPC difference=-4.51,p=0.01).Conclusions:Nationwide USA data,coveri

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is an increasingly common and the second leading cause of cancer mortality worldwide with a 5-year survival rate about 12%.Less than 20%of HCC patients are eligible to curative treatment owing to the late ***,there is a need for a readily accessible,early screening *** scoping review critically appraises and synthesizes the current published knowledge about the use of exhaled volatile organic compounds(VOCs)as a potential noninvasive means for HCC detection aiming to advance this nascent field.A systematic electronic search was *** search strategy included all studies published until the 24th of March 2023 using a combination of relevant *** search yielded 9 publications using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses *** of the studies described in vitro experiments,and seven clinical studies were conducted on small groups of ***,42 headspace gases were analyzed in the in vitro ***,the clinical studies included 420 HCC patients and 630 *** studies reported potential role for a combination of VOCs in the diagnosis of ***,there is lack of *** there appears to be promise in VOCs research associated with HCC,there is no single volatile biomarker in exhaled breath attributed to HCC and data from extracted studies indicates a lack of *** multicentre population studies are required to verify the existence of VOCs linked to HCC.

Garden pea productivity and qualities are hampered in zinc(Zn),boron(B),and molybdenum(Mo)deficient ***,the combination of micronutrients(i.e.,Zn,B,and Mo)and rhizobium is necessary to increase the productivity and quality of garden peas,since this management for garden peas is neglected in ***,the present study was made to assess the effectiveness of rhizobium inoculant singly or in combination with the micronutrients(i.e.,Zn,B,and Mo)on growth,yield,nutrient uptake,and quality of garden *** were:t_(1)=Control,t_(2)=Rhizobium inoculation at 50 g/kg seed,t_(3)=t_(2)+Zn_(3)Mo1,t_(4)=t_(2)+B_(2)Mo1,t_(5)=t_(2)+Zn_(3)B_(2),t_(6)=t_(2)+Zn_(3)B_(2)Mo1 and t_(7)=Zn_(3)B_(2)*** treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block design and repeated all treatments in three *** application of 3 kg Zn,2 kg B,and 1 kg Mo ha^(−1)with inoculation of Rhizobium at 50 g kg^(−1)seed(t_(6))facilitated to increase of 44.8%in the green pod and 29.7%seed yield over *** same treatment contributed to attaining the maximum nodulation(25.3 plant^(−1)),Vitamin C(43.5 mg 100 g^(−1)),protein content(22.2%),and nutrient uptake as well as accumulation in garden *** all treatment combinations,treatment t_(6)was found superior to others based on microbial activities,soil fertility,and *** results of the study found that the application of 3 kg Zn,2 kg B,and 1 kg Mo ha^(−1)in combination with Rhizobium inoculation(50 g kg^(−1)seed)can improve the yield and quality of garden *** results of the study have the potential for the areas,where there is no use of Rhizobium inoculant or Zn,B,and Mo fertilizer for cultivation of garden pea.

thiswork investigates an oblique stagnation point flowof hybrid nanofluid over a rigid surface with power lawfluidas lubricated layers. Copper (Cu) and Silver (Ag) solid particles are used as hybrid particles acting in water H2O asa base fluid. the mathematical formulation of flow configuration is presented in terms of differential systemthat isnonlinear in nature. the thermal aspects of the flow field are also investigated by assuming the surface is a heatedsurface with a constant temperature t. Numerical solutions to the governing mathematical model are calculatedby the RK45 algorithm. the results based on the numerical solution against various flow and thermal controllingparameters are presented in terms of line graphs. the specific results depict that the heat flux increases over thelubricated-indexed parameter.

Kidney Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma(KIRC)is a malignant tumor that carries a substantial risk of morbidity and *** MMP family assumes a crucial role in tumor invasion and *** study aimed to uncover the mechanistic relevance of the MMP gene family as a therapeutic target and diagnostic biomarker in Kidney Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma(KIRC)through a comprehensive approach encompassing both computational and molecular ***,Cytoscape,UALCAN,GEPIA,OncoDB,HPA,cBioPortal,GSEA,tIMER,ENCORI,DrugBank,targeted bisulfite sequencing(bisulfite-seq),conventional PCR,Sanger sequencing,and Rt-qPCR based analyses were used in the present study to analyze MMP gene family members to accurately determine a few hub genes that can be utilized as both therapeutic targets and diagnostic biomarkers for *** performing StRING and Cytohubba analyses of the 24 MMP gene family members,MMP2(matrix metallopeptidase 2),MMP9(matrix metallopeptidase 9),MMP12(matrix metallopeptidase 12),and MMP16(matrix metallopeptidase 16)genes were denoted as hub genes having highest degree *** analyzing MMP2,MMP9,MMP12,and MMP16 via various tCGA databases and Rt-qPCR technique across clinical samples and KIRC cell lines,interestingly,all these hub genes were found significantly overexpressed at mRNA and protein levels in KIRC samples relative to *** notable effect of the up-regulated MMP2,MMP9,MMP12,and MMP16 was also documented on the overall survival(OS)of the KIRC ***,targeted bisulfite-sequencing(bisulfite-seq)analysis revealed that promoter hypomethylation pattern was associated with up-regulation of hub genes(MMP2,MMP9,MMP12,and MMP16).In addition to this,hub genes were involved in various diverse oncogenic *** MMP gene family members(MMP2,MMP9,MMP12,and MMP16)may serve as therapeutic targets and prognostic biomarkers in KIRC.
