Solar energy represents one of themost important renewable energy sources contributing to the energy transition *** that the observation of daily global solar radiation(GSR)is not affordable in some parts of the globe,there is an imperative need to develop alternative ways to predict ***,the main objective of this study is to evaluate the performance of different hybrid data-driven techniques in predicting daily GSR in semi-arid regions,such as the majority of Spanish ***,four ensemble-based hybrid models were developed by hybridizing Additive Regression(AR)with Random Forest(RF),Locally Weighted Linear Regression(LWLR),Random Subspace(RS),and *** base algorithms of the developed models are scarcely applied in previous studies to predict solar *** testing phase outcomes demonstrated that the ARRF models outperform all other hybrid *** provided models were validated by statisticalmetrics,such as the correlation coefficient(R)and root mean square error(RMSE).The results proved that Scenario#6,utilizing extraterrestrial solar radiation,relative humidity,wind speed,and mean,maximum,and minimum ambient air temperatures as the model inputs,leads to the most accurate predictions among all scenarios(R=0.968–0.988 and RMSE=1.274–1.403 MJ/m^(2)・d).Also,Scenario#3 stood in the next rank of accuracy for predicting the solar radiation in both validating *** AD-RF model was the best predictive,followed by AD-RS and ***,this study recommends new effective methods to predict GSR in semiarid regions.

The chemical reactivity of novel stable triazene 3 toward some nucleophilic and electrophilic reagents was investigated. Traizene 3 was used as a key precursor for the synthesis of some novel important heterocyclic compounds such as Pyrazole, Isoxazole, Dihydropyrimidine, Tetrahydro-pyridine derivatives with expected antimicrobial activity. The synthesized compounds were obtained in good yields. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR and Ms spectral data.

Food choice motives(i.e.,mood,health,natural content,convenience,sensory appeal,price,familiarities,ethical concerns,and weight control)have an important role in transforming the current food system to ensure the healthiness of people and the sustainability of the *** from several domains have presented several models addressing issues influencing food choice over the ***,a multidisciplinary approach is required to better understand how various aspects interact with one another during the decision-making *** this paper,four Deep Learning(DL)models and one Machine Learning(ML)model are utilized to predict the weight in pounds based on food *** Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)model,stacked-LSTM model,Conventional Neural Network(CNN)model,and CNN-LSTM model are the used deep learning *** the applied ML model is the K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN)*** efficiency of the proposed model was determined based on the error rate obtained from the experimental *** findings indicated that Mean Absolute Error(MAE)is 0.0087,the Mean Square Error(MSE)is 0.00011,the Median Absolute Error(MedAE)is 0.006,the Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)is 0.011,and the Mean Absolute Percentage Error(MAPE)is ***,the results demonstrated that the stacked LSTM achieved improved results compared with the LSTM,CNN,CNN-LSTM,and KNN regressor.

Cervical Ripening and Induction of Labor: Awareness, Knowledge, Perception and Attitude of Antenatal Care-Seeking Women at Zagazig University Hospital, Zagazig, Egypt

To assess awareness, knowledge and perceptions of antenatal care-seeking women about cervical ripening (CR) and induction of labor (IOL), and their attitude towards these interventions. Methods: An observational descriptive cross-sectional study which was conducted at an Egyptian teaching hospital. A questionnaire-based interview covered items on women’s demographic and clinical data, as well as their awareness, knowledge, perception and attitude towards specific methods of CR and IOL. Results: A total of 853 questionnaires were analyzed, and 442 respondents (51.8%) were aware of CR and IOL. Knowledge of Oxytocin use was noted in 215 participants (48.6%), of membrane sweeping in 85 (19.2%), of Foley’s catheter in 110 (24.9%) and of Misoprostol in 84 (19.0%). The procedures were perceived to prevent cesarean section in 219 respondents (49.5%). History of previous IOL was a predictor of awareness (OR: 5.19, 95% CI: 1.6 – 11.23, p = 0.001*). Conclusion: This study showed that only a slightly more than 50% of participants were aware of CR and IOL, and the overall knowledge and perception were sub-optimal. Nevertheless, the attitudes towards the procedures were positive. Improved counselling is required in order to further increase knowledge about CR and IOL, and also correct misbelieves particularly in women at risk of undergoing IOL.

Wind power is one of the sustainable ways to generate renewable *** recent years,some countries have set renewables to meet future energy needs,with the primary goal of reducing emissions and promoting sustainable growth,primarily the use of wind and solar *** achieve the prediction of wind power generation,several deep and machine learning models are constructed in this article as base *** regression models are Deep neural network(DNN),k-nearest neighbor(KNN)regressor,long short-term memory(LSTM),averaging model,random forest(RF)regressor,bagging regressor,and gradient boosting(GB)*** addition,data cleaning and data preprocessing were performed to the *** dataset used in this study includes 4 features and 50530 *** accurately predict the wind power values,we propose in this paper a new optimization technique based on stochastic fractal search and particle swarm optimization(SFSPSO)to optimize the parameters of LSTM *** evaluation criteria were utilized to estimate the efficiency of the regression models,namely,mean absolute error(MAE),Nash Sutcliffe Efficiency(NSE),mean square error(MSE),coefficient of determination(R2),root mean squared error(RMSE).The experimental results illustrated that the proposed optimization of LSTM using SFS-PSO model achieved the best results with R2 equals 99.99%in predicting the wind power values.

Evaluation of Waterlogged Areas in El-Farafra Oasis, Egypt

A geographic information system (GIS) is a system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all types of geographical data. The key word to this technology is Geography—this means that some portion of the data is spatial. In other words, data that is in some way referenced to locations on the earth. The goal of this study is to evaluate how precisely waterlogging can be identified from medium-goals satellite pictures utilizing EWIS list. The point is to distinguish and mapping of the waterlogged territories in the piece of Farafra Desert Oasis of Egypt. To complete this identification, Landsat-8 symbolism and geographical sheets (1:50,000) have been utilized and handling through Envi 5.3 and Circular segment GIS 10.3, with field perceptions. The waterlogged regions have positive change (+), anyway grounds have negative change (−). Land has been diminished while water bodies have upward pattern. These waterlogged zones have been mapped at a general exactness of 99.22%. The primary explanations behind this descending rate are mostly improvement and anthropogenic mediations. The investigation shows utility of reconciliation of remote detecting and GIS systems for evaluation of waterlogged territories especially in districts where waterlogging conditions happen both because of over the top water system and poor waste. This investigation is recommended that an appraisal of water logging utilizing remotely detected information ought to be completed at customary interims.

Assessment of Urban Heat Island Using Remotely Sensed Imagery over Greater Cairo, Egypt

The Urban Heat Island (UHI) results in significant and sometimes dramatic increases in air temperature differences between the urban environment and its surrounding areas. The heat island structure may extend from the ground to the top of roofs and canopy levels above ground. The Urban Heat Island effect is a leading factor in a long list of human health problems which are expected to increase with the rapid growth of urban populations and projected future climate change. Urban heat island studies can be conducted through either direct measurements of air temperature using automobile transects and weather station networks or through measuring surface temperature using airborne or satellite remote sensing. In this study, UHI was investigated over the Greater Cairo during both summer and winter seasons over two different dates. Landsat 7 ETM+ data were used and the mono-window algorithm was applied in the study. Results emphasis that both types of heat islands exist in the study area i.e. the surface and the atmospheric heat islands. Temperature differences ranged between 0.5°C to 3.5°C and these are much related to the existing land use/covers. It could be concluded that expansion of urban areas in Greater Cairo has led to increased thermal radiation of land surface on the highly populated areas.

Influence of preceding crop and tillage system on forage yield and quality of selected summer grass and legume forage crops under arid conditions

Among the crop production factors,preceding crop and tillage management affect the sustainable use of soil resources and ultimately crop growth and *** study aimed at investigating the impact of preceding winter crops(grass or legume)and different tillage systems on forage yield,quality and nutritive values of three summer grass(Sudan grass,pearl millet and teosinte)and two legume forage crops(cowpea and guar)under arid *** results exhibited that growing forage crops after legumes(as berseem clover)produced the highest fresh and dry forage yields and quality attributes compared with grasses(as wheat)with the exception of crude fiber content,which was ***,tillage practices showed positive impact on forage yields and quality *** maximum forage yields and quality parameters were recorded under conventional tillage(CT)practice compared with reduced tillage(RT)and no-tillage(NT)*** the evaluated crops,the highest yields of fresh forage,dry forage,crude fiber,crude protein and total digestible nutrient were exhibited by grass forage crops(Sudan grass,pearl millet and teosinte),whereas the highest crude protein content and the digestible energy values were produced by legume forage crops(cowpea and guar).The maximum fresh forage,dry forage,crude fiber,crude protein,total digestible nutrient and digestible crude protein yields were produced by pearl millet followed by Sudan grass under CT and RT after berseem *** highest net return was recorded by sowing pearl millet after berseem clover and applying CT followed by RT practices,which could be recommended for the commercial ***,it could be assumed that the combination of growing grass forage crops after legume crops under CT or RT systems could enhance forage crop yield and quality with an improvement in soil properties for sustainable agriculture with low cost and the highest net income.
