In this article,we present a dynamical system analysis of a Dirac-Born-Infeld scalar field in a modified f(Q)gravity *** considered a polynomial form of modified gravity,used two different types of scalar potential,polynomial and exponential,and found a closed autonomous dynamical system of *** analyzed the fixed points of such a system and evaluated the conditions under which deceleration to late-time acceleration occurs in this *** note the similarity of the two models and show that our result is consistent with a previous study on Einstein s *** also investigated the phenomenological implications of our models by plotting EoS(ω),energy density(Ω),and deceleration parameter(q)*** e-fold time and comparing to the present *** conclude the paper by observing how the dynamical system analysis differs in the modified f(Q)gravity,and present the future scope of our research.

Over the past 20 years,the incidence and prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)in children and adolescents have increased,particularly in racial and ethnic *** the rise in T2DM in children and adolescents,the pathophysiology and progression of disease in this population are not clearly ***-onset T2DM has a more adverse clinical course than is seen in those who develop T2DM in adulthood or those with ***,the available therapeutic options are more limited for children and adolescents with T2DM compared to adult patients,mostly due to the challenges of implementing clinical trials.A better understanding of the mechanisms underlying the development and aggressive disease phenotype of T2DM in youth is important to finding effective prevention and management *** review highlights the key evidence about T2DM in children and adolescents and its current burden and challenges both in clinical care and research activities.

Since the discovery of insulin over 100 years ago,the focus of research in the management of type 1 diabetes(T1D)has centered around glycemic control and management of complications rather than the prevention of autoimmune destruc-tion of pancreaticβ***,in recent years,there has been significant advancement in immune-targeted pharmacotherapy to halt the natural progres-sion of *** immune-targeted intervention aims to alter the underlying pa-thogenesis of T1D by targeting different aspects of the immune *** im-munotherapy can either antagonize the immune mediators like T cells,B cells or cytokines(antibody-based therapy),or reinduce self-tolerance to pancreaticβcells(antigen-based therapy)or stem-cell ***,the US Food and Drug Administration approved the first immunotherapy teplizumab to be used only in stage 2 of ***,the window of opportunity to practically implement this approved molecule in the selected target population is *** this Edito-rial,we briefly discuss the various promising recent developments in the field of immunotherapy research in ***,further studies of these newer thera-peutic agents are needed to explore their true potential for prevention or cure of T1D.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a global epidemic,affecting more than half of the people living with type 2 diabetes(T2D).The relationship between NAFLD and T2D is bidirectional and the presence of one perpetuates the other,which significantly increases the hepatic as well as extrahepatic *** recently,there was no approved pharmacological treatment for NAFLD/nonalcoholic steatohepatitits(NASH).However,there is evidence that drugs used for diabetes may have beneficial effects on *** sensitizers acting through peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor(PPAR)modulation act on multiple levels of NAFLD ***(PPARγ agonist)and saroglitazar(PPARα/γagonist)are particularly beneficial and recommended by several authoritative bodies for treating NAFLD in T2D,although data on biopsyproven NASH are lacking with the *** data on elafibanor(PPARα/δ agonist)and Lanifibranor(pan PPAR agonist)are *** the other hand,incretin therapies based on glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1)receptor agonists(GLP-1RA)and dual-and triple-hormone receptor co-agonists reported impressive weight loss and may have anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic ***-1 RAs have shown beneficial effects on NAFLD/NASH and more studies on potential direct effects on liver function by dual-and triple-agonists are ***,the long-term safety of these therapies in NAFLD needs to be *** efforts among healthcare providers such as primary care doctors,hepatologists,and endocrinologists are warranted for selecting patients for the best possible management of NAFLD in T2D.

Mescaline,among the earliest identified natural hallucinogens,holds great potential in psychotherapy ***,despite the existence of a postulated biosynthetic pathway for more than half a century,the specific enzymes involved in this process are yet to be *** this study,we investigated the cactus Lophophora williamsii(Peyote),the largest known natural producer of the phenethylamine *** employed a multi-faceted approach,combining de novo whole-genome and transcriptome sequencing with comprehensive chemical profiling,enzymatic assays,molecular modeling,and pathway engineering for pathway *** identified four groups of enzymes responsible for the six catalytic steps in the mescaline biosynthetic pathway,and an N-methyltransferase enzyme that N-methylates all phenethylamine intermediates,likely modulating mescaline levels in ***,we reconstructed the mescaline biosynthetic pathway in both Nicotiana benthamiana plants and yeast cells,providing novel insights into several challenges hindering complete heterologous mescaline *** together,our study opens up avenues for exploration of sustainable production approaches and responsible utilization of mescaline,safeguarding this valuable natural resource for future generations.

Inorganic-organic metal halide perovskite light harvester-based perovskite solar cells(PSCs)with widely tunable bandgap have achieved rapid growth in power conversion efficiency,which exceeds 25%*** is deliberated that if a semitransparent solar cell made of wider bandgap materials was placed on top of a narrow bandgap materials-based solar cell such as a silicon solar cell,with proper optical and electrical arrangements,the resultant tandem device consisting of two subcells could more effectively utilize the solar spectrum than a single junction solar *** a perovskite/silicon tandem solar cell(PSTSC),a semitransparent PSC with a wider bandgap is placed on top of a narrow bandgap silicon solar *** PSC efficiently harvests the higher energy photons in the ultraviolet and visible regions of the solar spectrum while the silicon solar cell can convert the photons of the infrared region to *** PSTSC is proposed as a potential candidate to overcome the Shockley-Queisser limit of single-junction silicon solar *** the theoretical limit of a PSTSC is calculated as~42%,its actual efficiency achieved until now is less than 30%.Therefore,a great scope of research exists in improving the efficiency of *** issues of stability and upscaling of the device in PSCs are also a matter of concern for PSTSCs.A tandem device consists of multiple parts,and different configurations can be applied,thus tuning the architecture of the *** various parts may result in significant changes in the efficiency of the *** this review,competing architectures of otherwise comparable devices are compared in terms of photovoltaic ***,future directions to improve the efficiency of the device based on architecture design are proposed *** particular,the influence of the polarity of PSCs and the surface morphology of silicon solar cells(both front and rear)on determining the properties of the PSTSC are discussed.

MicroRNA （miRNA） plays vital roles in biological processes like RNA splicing and regulation of gene expression. Studies have revealed that there might be possible links between onco- genesis and expression profiles of some miRNAs, due to their differential expression between normal and tumor tissues. However, the automatic classification of miRNAs into different cate- gories by considering the similarity of their expression values has rarely been addressed. This article proposes a solution framework for solving some real-life classification problems related to cancer, miRNA, and mRNA expression datasets. In the first stage, a mulfiobjective optimization based framework, non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II, is proposed to automatically determine the appropriate classifier type, along with its suitable parameter and feature combinations, pertinent for classifying a given dataset. In the second page, a stack-based ensemble technique is employed to get a single combinatorial solution from the set of solutions obtained in tke first stage. The performance of the proposed two-stage approach is evaluated on several cancer and RNA expression pro- file datasets. Compared to several state-of-the-art approaches for classifying different datasets, our method shows supremacy in the accuracy of classification.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a heterogeneous condition with a wide spectrum of clinical presentations and natural history and disease *** is also substantial inter-individual variation and variable response to a different *** heterogeneity of NAFLD is in turn influenced by various factors primarily demographic/dietary factors,metabolic status,gut microbiome,genetic predisposition together with epigenetic *** differential impact of these factors over a variable period of time influences the clinical phenotype and natural *** to address heterogeneity partly explains the sub-optimal response to current and emerging therapies for fatty liver ***,leading experts across the globe have recently suggested a change in nomenclature of NAFLD to metabolic-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)which can better reflect current knowledge of heterogeneity and does not exclude concomitant factors for fatty liver disease(***,viral hepatitis,etc.).Precise identification of disease phenotypes is likely to facilitate clinical trial recruitment and expedite translational research for the development of novel and effective therapies for NAFLD/MAFLD.
