Hydrocarbon indication in Rio bonito Formation sandstone:Implication for CO_(2)storage in São Paulo,brazil

São Paulo State has witnessed CO_(2)storage-based investigations considering the availability of suitable geologic structures and proximity to primary CO_(2)source sinks related to bioenergy and carbon capture and storage(bECCS)*** current study presents the hydrocarbon viability evaluations and CO_(2)storage prospects,focusing on the sandstone units of the Rio bonito *** objective is to apply petrophysical evaluations with geochemical inputs in predicting future hydrocarbon(gas)production to boost CO_(2)storage within the study *** study used data from eleven wells with associated wireline logs(gamma ray,resistivity,density,neutron,and sonic)to predict potential hydrocarbon accumulation and fluid mobility in the investigated *** samples(shale and carbonate)obtained from depths>200 m within the study location have shown bitumen *** geochemistry data of the Rio bonito Formation shale beds suggest they are potential hydrocarbon source rocks and could have contributed to the gas accumulations within the sandstone *** drilled well data,e.g.,Cb-1-SP and TI-1-SP,show hydrocarbon(gas)presence based on the typical resistivity and the combined neutron-density responses at depths up to 3400 m,indicating the possibility of other hydrocarbon members apart from the heavy oil(bitumen)observed from the near-surface rocks *** the three-dimensional(3-D)model,the free fluid indicator(FFI)is more significant towards the southwest and southeast of the area with deeper depths of occurrence,indicating portions with reasonable hydrocarbon recovery rates and good prospects for CO_(2)injection,circulation and permanent ***,future studies based on contemporary datasets are required to establish the hydrocarbon viability further,foster gas production events,and enhance CO_(2)storage possibilities within the region.

Primary Polydipsia and sIDH Type D Due to Water-Electrolytic Disturbance in a Schizophrenic Patient: A Case Report and Systematic Review

Introduction: Primary polydipsia, frequently observed in patients with schizophrenia, can cause severe hyponatremia, leading to serious complications. Objective: This study reviews the management and prevalence of psychogenic polydipsia, focusing on treatments and clinical outcomes. Methods: Following the PRISMA guidelines, studies on polydipsia in psychiatric patients were included. Data were extracted from databases such as PubMed and Scopus, and a meta-analysis was performed. Results: Fifteen studies were analyzed, totaling 586 patients. The use of urea was effective in correcting hyponatremia, while antipsychotics showed mixed results. Heterogeneity between studies was moderate (I2 = 56%). Conclusion: Psychogenic polydipsia is a severe condition in schizophrenic patients. The use of urea has shown promise, but further studies are needed to optimize treatments.

We investigate the action of time-dependent detunings upon the excitation inversion of a Cooper pair box interacting with a nanomechanical *** method employs the Jaynes–Cummings model with damping,assuming different decay rates of the Cooper pair box and various fixed and time-dependent *** is shown that,when the presence of damping plus constant detunings destroys the collapse/revival effects,convenient choices of time-dependent detunings allow one to reconstruct such events in a perfect *** is also shown that the mean excitation of the nanomechanical resonator is more robust against damping of the Cooper pair box for convenient values of time-dependent detunings.

Resveratrol attenuates metabolic,sperm,and testicular changes in adult Wistar rats fed a diet rich in lipids and simple carbohydrates

High-fat diets affect male reproduction and sexual ***,we evaluated the effects of prolonged resveratrol administration on the metabolic,sperm,and testicular parameters of rats fed a cafeteria *** Wistar rats were divided at weaning into control(Cv n=20)and cafeteria(CAF,n=16)*** 3 months,half of them were given daily supplementations of resveratrol(C-R,n=10;CAF-R,n=8)at a dosage of 30 mg kg-1 body mass for 2 *** were killed at 5 months of age,and blood,spermatozoa,and testes were collected for further *** were analyzed by one-way ANOVA,and Pdered statistically *** CAF diet promoted hyperglycemia(Pbility and motility,while resveratrol improved these parameters(Fbody mass,the consumption of a CAF diet promoted hyperglycemia,adverse testicular morphology remodeling,and abnormal sperm,which were attenuated by treatment with resveratrol,thus suggesting a protective effect of this antioxidant on spermatogenesis.

In this paper, we study the large time behavior of solutions of the parabolic semilinear equation δtu-div（a（x）△↓u） = -｜u｜^αu in （0,∞） × R^N, where α 〉 0 is constant and a∈ Cb^1（R^N） is a symmetric periodic matrix satisfying some ellipticity *** an integrable initial data u0 and α ∈ （2/N, 3/N）, we prove that the large time behavior of solutions is given by the solution U（t, x） of the homogenized linear problem δtU-div（a^h△↓U）=0,U（0） = C, where a^h is the homogenized matrix of a（x）, C is a positive constant and δ is the Dirac measure at 0.

The required treatment and monitoring of contaminants in wastewater reinforces the development of low-cost adsorbents/chemosensors,introducing advantages relative to the detection/removal of toxic metals and ***,it is reported a two-step process of fabrication of fluorescent carbon dots via the hydrothermal treatment of amino acids for the following encapsulation in electrospun *** prominent anionic behavior of electrospun fibers of Eudragit L100 was explored for adsorption of cationic dyes(methylene blue and crystal violet)-with the prevailing electrostatic interaction of parts being favored by the formation of monolayers on the surface of *** the other hand,the controlled release of carbon dots(CDs)from fibers to the reactor can be explored for a second application:the nitrogen ligands from released glycine-based carbon dots can be explored to indicate the presence of metal ions in aqueous *** experiment resulted in a quenching in the fluorescence of the CDs in order of 90%in the emission of particles in the response of the presence of Fe^(3+) ions,characterizing a promising perspective for this experimental system.

In this study the potential of cloud point extraction formed by a non-ionic surfactant was used in order to separate polyphenols from industrial residues of camu-camu. The effects of operational conditions of the cloud point extraction(CPE) on the polyphenol recovery and volumetric ratio were investigated. The results showed a maximum recovery of 95.71% that was obtained using 7.0 wt% Triton X-114, native pH(3.25), and 80 wt%polyphenol extract at 30 °C. The use of cloud point extraction was successful to recover the polyphenols from agroindustrial residue since it is a simple as well as of low-cost technique.
