Mutations in the receptor binding domain(RBD)of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein have given birth to the new variants of concern *** and Omicron *** we are using vaccines which are either mRNA of spike protein of Wuhan strain or its whole virion vaccine,these vaccines will trigger antibodies to be able to bind with the epitopes of spike protein of Wuhan *** appears a need to study whether vaccine generated circulating neutralizing antibodies in vaccinated people are able to neutralize the receptor binding domain of spike protein of currently circulating Delta and Omicron strains as *** need to address this contention in two phases:first to undertake docking studies of vaccine generated antibodies with Wuhan,Delta and Omicron strains and second to conduct the wet lab studies and observe antigen-antibody bindings employing Immunofluorescence and Cryo-Electron Microscopic *** present paper reports results of docking studies using bioinformatic softwares to provide the baseline information for wet lab studies.

We investigate direction dependence and non-Gaussian features in high-z cosmological data using ?_(χ~2) and ?_χ statistics and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. These techniques are applied on a set of calibrated long gamma-ray bursts(GRBs) and its combination with recent Type Ia supernovae data(Union2). Our statistical analysis shows a weak but consistent direction dependence in both the data *** analysis also indicates a non-Gaussian nature of errors in both data sets.

The nature of random errors in any data set is Gaussian, which is a well established fact according to the Central Limit Theorem. Supernovae type Ia data have played a crucial role in major discoveries in cosmology. Unlike in laboratory experiments, astronomical measurements cannot be performed in controlled situations. Thus, errors in astronomical data can be more severe in terms of systematics and non-Gaussianity compared to those of laboratory experiments. In this paper, we use the Kolmogorov-Smiruov statistic to test non-Gaussianity in high-z supernovae data. We apply this statistic to four data sets, i.e., Gold data （2004）, Gold data （2007）, the Union2 catalog and the Union2.1 data set for our analysis. Our results show that in all four data sets the errors are consistent with a Gaussian distribution.

Objective： A series of 2-benzylideneaminonaphthothiazoles were designed and synthesized incorporating the lipophilic naphthalene ring to render them more capable of penetrating various biomembranes. Methods： Schiff bases were synthesized by the reaction of naphtha[1,2-d]thiazol-2-amine with various substituted aromatic aldehydes. 2-（2＇-Hydroxy）ben- zylideneaminonaphthothiazole was converted to its Co（Ⅱ）, Ni（Ⅱ） and Cu（Ⅱ） metal complexes upon treatment with metal salts in ethanol. All the compounds were evaluated for their antibacterial activities by paper disc diffusion method with Gram positive Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis and Gram negative Escherichia coli and pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria. The minimum inhibitory concentrations of all the Schiff bases and metal complexes were determined by agar streak dilution method. Results： All the compounds moderately inhibited the growth of Cram positive and Gram negative bacteria. In the present study among all Schiff bases 2-（2＇-hydroxy）benzylideneaminonaphthothiazole showed maximum inhibitory activity and among metal complexes Cu（Ⅱ） metal complex was found to be most potent. Conclusion： The results obtained validate the hypothesis that Schiff bases having substitution with halogens, hydroxyl group and nitro group at phenyl ring are required for the antibacterial activity while methoxy group at different positions in the aromatic ring has minimal role in the inhibitory activity. The results also indicated that the metal complexes are better antibacterial agents as compared to the Schiff bases.

The highly conserved abundant nuclear protein poly （ADp-ribose） polymerase-1 （pARp-1） is activated by DNA damage. pARp-1 activation is associated in DNA repair, cell death and inflammation. Since oxidative stress induced robust DNA damage and wide spread inflamma- tory responses are common pathologies of various CNS diseases, the attention towards pARp-1 as a therapeutic target has been amplifying. This review highlights the multiple roles of pARp- 1 in neurological diseases and po- tential of pARp- 1 inhibitors to enter clinical translation.

3D打印可以改变现有的生产方法,是第四次工程革命中的一项现代技术。它从成型原理上提出了分层制造、逐层叠加成型的新颖生产方法,从根本上简化了制造工艺,实现了大规模定制生产。然而,这一新技术仍存在许多问题。除了纯石墨烯外,sp^(2)碳具有好的亲水性,3D打印难度较小。sp^(2)碳还可在3D打印中的各种阶段应用。纯石墨烯的疏水性使其难以在水系介质中打印和加工。毛细管油墨的发展使得纯石墨烯的3D打印成为可能。本文综述了sp^(2)碳的3D打印技术的最新进展。首先简要概述了3D打印技术,随后概述了sp^(2)碳的3D打印及其在各种方面的应用。最后,讨论了这一新领域的发展前景和机遇。

下一代电子产品的飞速发展对热管理提出了更高的要求。初始石墨烯的导热性是铜的13倍。本文通过快速热处理化学气相沉积(RTp-CVD)法制备了具有大sp^(2)结构域的单层、双层和多层石墨烯(SLG、BLG、FLG),进一步通过低浓度H_(2)还原制备了高导热石墨烯。在1000℃下生长25 min制备出SLG,利用拉曼光谱和透射电子显微镜(TEM)研究了石墨烯的品质。为了验证RTp-CVD法生成的石墨烯的散热能力,将其作为2TB固态硬盘的散热器,通过红外热成像仪进行了研究。结果证明,RTp-CVD生长的石墨烯用于消费电子产品的热管理测试时性能表现优异。SLG显示温度(最高)比商用铜散热器低5℃,SLG的散热能力比商用铜散热器快200倍左右。综上,利用RTp-CVD法制备的轻质的柔性石墨烯可以成为下一代5G设备和消费电子产品热管理的更好选择。

Exposure to mercuric chloride(HgCl2;5 mg kg–1 body weight;i.p.)induced oxidative stress in mice and substantially increased lipid peroxidation(LpO)and oxidized glutathione(GSSG)levels,decreased the level of reduced glu-tathione(GSH)and various antioxidant enzymes in liver and also increased the activities of liver marker enzymes in *** with propolis extract,a resinous wax-like beehive product(200 mg kg–1 orally,after mercury administration),for 3 days inhibited LpO and the formation of GSSG and increased the level of GSH in the *** of serum transaminases,alkaline phosphatase,lactate dehydrogenase and-glutamyl transpeptidase were significantly restored after propolis *** activities of antioxidant enzymes,that is,superoxide dismutase,catalase,glutathione-S-transferase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase,were also concomitantly restored towards normal levels after propolis *** observations clearly demonstrate that propolis treatment augments antioxidant defense against mercury-induced toxicity and provide evidence that propolis has therapeutic potential as a hepatoprotective agent.

Frequent activation of phosphatidylinositol-3 kinases(pI3K)/Akt/m TOR signaling pathway in gastric cancer(GC) is gaining immense popularity with identification of mutations and/or amplifications of pIK3 CA gene or loss of function of pTEN,a tumor suppressor protein,to name a few; both playing a crucial role in regulating this pathway. These aberrations result in dysregulation of this pathway eventually leading to gastric oncogenesis,hence,there is a need for targeted therapy for more effective anticancer treatment. Several inhibitors are currently in either preclinical or clinical stages for treatment of solid tumors like GC. With so many inhibitors under development,further studies on predictive biomarkers are needed to measure the specificity of any therapeutic intervention. Herein,we review the common dysregulation of pI3K/Akt/m TOR pathway in GC and the various types of single or dual pathway inhibitors under development that might have a superior role in GC treatment. We also summarize the recent developments in identification of predictive biomarkers and propose use of predictive biomarkers to facilitate more personalized cancer therapy with effective pI3K/Akt/m TOR pathway inhibition.

A huge amount of waste from the cattle livestock and bird poultry are generated using as manure and solid fuel. In this work, the heat value and proximate parameters of livestock and poultry manures are described. The calorific value of manures (n = 22) was ranged from 2580 - 11,200 kcal/kg with mean value (p = 0.05) of 5333 ± 1073 kcal/kg. The effect of cattle age and additives i.e. NaNO3 and Na2WO4 in the heat value of the manures are discussed. The chemical characteristics of the emitted particulate matters (pM) and ash residues are highlighted.
