In computing architecture, ALU plays a major role. Many promising applications are possible with ATMEGA microcontroller. ALU is a part of these microcontrollers. The performance of these microcontrollers can be improved by applying Reversible Logic and Vedic Mathematics. In this paper, an efficient reversible Arithmetic and Logic Unit with reversible Vedic Multiplier is proposed and the simulation results show its effectiveness in reducing quantum cost, number of gates, and the total number of logical calculations.

Reversible logic is a new emerging technology with many promising applications in optical information processing, low power (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) CMOS design, (De Oxy RiboNucleic Acid) DNA computing, etc. In industrial automation, comparators play an important role in segregating faulty patterns from good ones. In previous works, these comparators have been implemented with more number of reversible gates and computational complexity. All these comparators use propagation technique to compare the data. This will reduce the efficiency of the comparators. To overcome the problem, this paper proposes an efficient comparator using (Thapliyal Ranganathan) TR gate utilizing full subtraction and half subtraction algorithm which will improve the computation efficiency. The comparator design using half subtraction algorithm shows an improvement in terms of quantum cost. The comparator design using full subtraction algorithm shows effectiveness in reducing number of reversible gates required and garbage output.

The discovery of microRNAs （miRNAs） is one of tbe most significant breakthroughs in recent decades, miRNAs are a class of small, endogenous, non-coding RNAs （19-24 nt） that negatively regulate the expression of target genes by binding to their 3＇ untranslated region and are involved in various biological processes. Three main approaches that are globally used for the detection of miRNA include direct cloning, forward genetics and computational approaches using bioinformatics.

Electronic structure and bonding interactions in Ba1-xSrxZr0.1Ti0.9O3 ceramics

An investigation on the precise electronic structure and bonding interactions has been carried out on Ba1-xSrxZr0.1Ti0.9O3 （short for BSZT, x = 0, 0.05, 0.07 and 0.14） ceramic systems prepared via high-temperature solid state reaction technique. The influence of Sr doping on the BSZT structure has been examined by characterizing the prepared samples using PXRD, UV-visible spectrophotometry, SEM and EDS. Powder profile refinement of X-ray data confirms that all the synthesized samples have been crystallized in cubic perovskite structure with single phase. Charge density distribution of the BSZT systems has been completely analyzed by the maximum entropy method （MEM）. Co-substitution of Sr at the Ba site and Zr at the Ti site into the BaTiOz structure presents the ionic nature between Ba and O ions and the covalent nature between Ti and O ions, revealed from MEM calculations. Optical band gap values have been evaluated from UV-visible absorption spectra. Particles with irregular shapes and well defined grain boundaries are clearly visualized from SEM images. The phase purity of the prepared samples is further confirmed by EDS qualitative spectral analysis.

With the latest introduction of the demand side management （DSM） in smart grids, the power distribution units are able to modify the load schedules of the consumers. This involves a co-operative interaction of the utility and the consumers so as to achieve customer load modifications in which the customer, utility and society all are benefited. The interaction is performed with the help of the devices known as the smart meter. This paper shows the use of game theory and logical mathematical expressions in order to achieve the objec- tives. The objectives are to minimize the peak to average ratio （PAR） and the energy cost. The outcome of the game between supplier and customers helps to shape the load profile. The design proposed in this paper is very user- friendly and is based on simple logarithmic programming computations. In this paper, residential, commercial and industrial types of loads are taken into account. A basic 24 h load schedule along with the fluctuating prices at each hour of the day is forecasted by the supplier of the various shiftable and non-shiftable loads and then that schedule is conveyed to the user. The users are encouraged to shift their high load devices to off-peak hours which will not only reduce their electricity costs but also substantially reduce the PAR in the load demand.

Array P systems were introduced by Paun Gh. which is linking the two areas of membrane computing and picture grammars. Puzzle grammars were introduced by us for generating connected picture arrays in the two-dimensional plane, motivated by the problem of tiling the plane. On the other hand, incorporating into arrays the developmental type of generation used in the well-known biologically motivated L systems, Siromoney and Siromoney proposed a very general rectangular array generating model, called extended controlled tabled L array system (ECTLAS). In this paper we introduce two variations of the array P system, called BPG array P system and parallel array P system. The former has in the regions array objects and basic puzzle grammar rules (BPG), which are a specific kind of puzzle grammar rules. In the latter, the regions have rectangular array objects and tables of context-free rules. We examine these two types of P systems for their array generative power.

Ferroelectric lead-free BaTi_(1-x)Zr_(x)O_(3)ceramic powder samples with various compositions(x=0,0.04,0.06)have been synthesized by conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction method at 1450℃for 10 *** of Zr doping on the inter-atomic bonding and charge density distributions inside the lattice structure of BaTiO_(3)were analyzed through powder X-ray diffraction(XRD)and maximum entropy *** parameter and cell volume values are found to be increasing with the incorporation of Zr *** average grain sizes are found to be in the range of 23-28 *** entropy mapping of electron density analysis reveals the reduction in ionic nature along Ba-O bond and the enhancement of covalent nature along Ti-O *** band gap values were determined from ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)*** morphology and microstructures of the samples were analyzed from scanning electron microscopy(SEM)*** with irregular sizes were observed in all the prepared *** of the samples was further confirmed by energydispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDAX).
