Background: Children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) often receive physiotherapy to achieve maximum motor potential and prevent secondary conditions. Conductive Education (CE) is an education programme that combines special education and rehabilitation. Purpose: Study the effect of physiotherapy and conductive education in development of fine, gross motor skills and mental function in the children with CP. Subjects and Methods: This is a prospective case study that was carried out on 105 children with CP less than 4 years old selected from outpatient clinic in National Institute for Neuro Motor System. Cases were taken consecutively from February 2019 to September 2019. A written informed consent was taken from all participants after proper explanation of the study. They were classified into three groups (group I, group II and group III) according to their age. All children are subjected to complete history taking, clinical examination, use of developmental quotient (DQ) sheet before and after 6 months of regular physiotherapy and conductive education program. Results: There was statistically significant improvement in fine motor, cognation and gross motor in 3 groups after 6 months of regular physiotherapy and conductive education program. This paper presents an observer based dynamic fuzzy logic system （DFLS） scheme for a class of unknown single-input single-output （SISO） nonlinear dynamic systems with external disturbances. The proposed approach does not need the availability of the state variables. Within this scheme, the DFLS is employed to identify the unknown nonlinear dynamic system. The control law and parameter adaptation laws of the DFLS are derived based on Lyapunov synthesis approach. The control law is robustfied in H∞ sense to attenuate external disturbance, model uncertainties, and fuzzy approximation errors. It is shown that under appropriate assumptions, it guarantees the boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop system and the asymptotic convergence to zero of tracking errors. The proposed method is applied to an inverted pendulum system to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

This paper presents a comparative study of different decoupling control schemes for a two-input, two-output(TITO) binary distillation column via proportional-integral(PI)controller. The key idea behind this paper is designing two novel fuzzy decoupling schemes that depend on human knowledge,instead of the system mathematical model used in conventional decoupling schemes. Based on conventional and inverted decoupling schemes, fuzzy and inverted fuzzy decoupling schemes are developed. The control effect is compared using simulation results for the proposed two schemes with conventional decoupling and inverted decoupling. The proposed fuzzy decoupling schemes are easy to realize and simple to design, besides they have a good decoupling capability. Two methods are used to prove asymptotic stability of each loop and the entire closed-loop system by applying the proposed fuzzy decoupling-based PI *** Wood and Berry model of a binary distillation column is used to illustrate the applicability of the proposed schemes.

An observer-based adaptive fuzzy control is presented for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown time delays. The state observer is first designed, and then the controller is designed via the adaptive fuzzy control method based on the observed states. Both the designed observer and controller are independent of time delays. Using an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, the uncertainty of the unknown time delay is compensated, and then the fuzzy logic system in Mamdani type is utilized to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, the constructed observer-based controller and the closed-loop system are proved to be asymptotically stable. The designed control law is independent of the time delays and has a simple form with only one adaptive parameter vector, which is to be updated on-line. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Herein,iron oxide/hydroxides deposits(gossans)were utilized,for the first time,in the fabrication of magnetite nanoparticles(MNPs)to load modified coal(MC).The as-synthesized MNPs@MC composite was characterized via different techniques and utilized for the Cr(Ⅵ)*** studies supported by theoretical treatment were applied to offer a new overview of the Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption geometry and mechanism at 25-45℃.Experimental results suggested that the Cr(Ⅵ)uptake was mainly governed by adsorption-reduction coupled *** Langmuir model fitted well the Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption data with maximum adsorption capacities extended from 115.24 to 129.63 mg·g^(-1).Theoretical calculations indicated that Cr(Ⅵ)ions were adsorbed on the MNPs@MC following the theory of the advanced monolayer statistical *** number of ions removed per site ranged from 1.88 to1.23 suggesting the involvement of vertical geometry and multi-ionic mechanism at all *** increment of the active sites density and the adsorption capacity at saturation with improving temperature reflected an endothermic ***,the Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption was controlled by physical forces as the adsorption energies were less than 40 kJ·mol^(-1).The calculated free enthalpy,*** internal energy explained the spontaneous nature and the viability of Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption on the MNPs@MC *** results offer a new approach in utilizing the iron-rich deposits as gossans in the preparation of magnetic and low-cost adsorbents for wastewater remediation.

A target is assumed to move according to a Brownian motion on the real line. The searcher starts from the origin and moves in the two directions from the starting point. The object is to detect the target. The purpose of this paper is to find the conditions under which the expected value of the first meeting time of the searcher and the target is finite, and to show the existence of a search plan which made this expected value minimum.

Dynamics of CO_2 Emission and Biochemical Properties of a Sandy Calcareous Soil Amended with Conocarpus Waste and Biochar

Biochar is a carbon-rich product obtained by biomass pyrolysis and considered a mean of carbon sequestration. In this research, a sandy calcareous soil from the Farm of the College of Food & Agriculture Sciences, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, was amended with either woody waste of Conocarpus erectus L.(CW) or the biochar(BC) produced from CW at rates of 0(control), 10, 30 and 50 g kg-1. The effects of the amendments on soil p H, dissolved organic carbon(DOC), microbial biomass carbon(MBC), CO2 emission and metabolic quotient(q CO2) of the sandy calcareous soil were studied in a 60-d incubation experiment. The results showed that the addition of CW led to a significant decrease in soil p H compared to the control and the addition of BC. The CO2-C emission rate was higher in the first few days of incubation than when the incubation time progressed. The cumulative CO2-C emission from the soil amended with CW, especially at higher rates, was higher(approximately 3- to 6-fold) than that from the control and the soil amended with BC. The BC-amended soil showed significant increases in CO2-C emission rate during the first days of incubation as compared to the non-amended soil, but the increase in cumulative CO2-C emission was not significant after 60 d of incubation. On the other hand, CW applications resulted in considerably higher cumulative CO2-C emission, MBC and DOC than the control and BC applications. With the exception of 0 day(after 1 h of incubation), both CW and BC applications led to lower values of q CO2 as compared to the control. The power function kinetic model satisfactorily described the cumulative CO2-C emission. Generally, the lowest values of CO2 emission were observed in the soil with BC, suggesting that the contribution of BC to CO2 emission was very small as compared to that of CW.
