Refining Soil Organic Matter Determination by Loss-on-Ignition

Wet oxidation procedure,i.e.,Walkley-Black (WB) meth.d,is a routine,relatively accurate,and popular meth.d for th. determination of soil organic matter (SOM) but it is time-consuming,costly and also h.s a h.gh.potential to cause environmental pollution because of disposal of ch.omium and strong acids used in th.s ***,loss-on-ignition (LOI) procedure,a simple and ch.ap meth.d for SOM estimation,wh.ch.also avoids ch.omic acid wastes,deserves more *** aims of th.s research.were to study th. statistical relationsh.ps between SOM determined with.th. LOI (SOMLOI) and WB (SOMWB) meth.ds to compare th. spatial variability of SOM in two major plains,Sh.h.ekord and Kooh.ang plains,of Ch.h.rmah.l-va-Bakh.iari Province,*** surface soil samples (0-25 cm) were randomly collected in each.plain to determine SOM using th. WB meth.d and th. LOI procedure at 300,360,400,500 and 550 ℃ for 2 *** samples covered wide ranges of soil texture and calcium carbonate equivalent (CCE).Th. general linear form of th. regression equation was calculated to estimate SOM LOI from SOM obtained by th. WB meth.d for both.overall samples and individual *** soil samples were also randomly selected to compare th. SOM and CCE before and after ignition at each.*** accuracy of th. continuous maps generated for th. LOI and WB meth.ds was considered to determine th. accordance of two *** sh.wed a significant positive linear relationsh.p between SOM LOI and SOM *** of determination (R2) of th. equations for individual plains were h.gh.r th.n th.t of th. overall *** of determination and line slopes decreased and root mean square error (RMSE) increased with.increasing ignition temperature,wh.ch.may be due to th. mineral structural water loss and destruction of carbonates at h.gh.r temperatures.A temperature around 360 ℃ was identified as optimum as it burnt most organic carbon,destroyed less inorganic carbon,cau

效率的概念就是比较被添加到水泥中的各种混凝土塑化剂材料的相关性能。在本论文中,介绍了用一种混凝土拌合料的塑化剂材料来评价效率因素k的方法。这种方法是根据Abram的强度水灰比规则,根据相关强度和黏结材料的成分来衡量效率的好坏的。这个方法的优点是,仅两个混合物就能确定一个具体混合物的k因素。一次实验室调查发现:衡量硅灰(SF)和高岭土(MK)混凝土的效率因素随混凝土拌合料的塑化剂的类型、替换水平和龄期而变化。在28天龄期,高岭土的k值范围是从1.6到2.3,而硅灰混合物的K值范围是从2.1到3.1,当在180天龄期,高岭土的k值从1.8到4.0变化而硅灰混合物的k值从2.4到3.3变化。通常,因素k的值随龄期的增加而增加随混凝土拌合料的塑化剂含量的增加而下降。我们发现改变水灰比从0.33到0.27并没有显著的影响到总值效率因素。

Ch.racterization of Genomic Events Oth.r th.n Ph.and Evaluation of Prognostic Influence on Imatinib in Ch.onic Myeloid Leukemia (CML): A Study on 1449 Patients from India

Background: Analysis of Ph.ladelph.a (Ph. ch.omosome, a h.llmark of ch.onic myeloid leukemia (CML) plays an important role in disease monitoring of th. targeted drug Imatinib. Apart from Ph. genomic imbalances such.as additional ch.omosomal abnormalities (ACAs) of major route occur during transformation of th. disease and sh.w negative impact on prognosis. Objective: Th. present study was carried out to investigate frequencies of ACAs, genomic deletions, complex Ph.variants and th.ir prognostic influences in a large coh.rt of newly diagnosed CML-CP (ch.onic ph.se) and CML-AP/BP (accelerated/blast ph.se). Material & Meth.ds: Retrospective, single institutional study on 1367 cases of CML-CP and 82 cases of CML-AP/BP between 2009 and 2015, using conventional cytogenetics along with.fluorescence in situ h.bridization. Results: Of th. 1367 patients in CML-CP, 1041 patients wh. completed 12 - 18 month. of Imatinib th.rapy sh.wed complete cytogenetic remission (CCyR) rates of 76% and 82% at 12 and 18 month. respectively. Imatinib induced 81% and 33% CCyR in CML-AP and CML-BP respectively. Frequencies of ACAs in CML-CP, AP and BP were 2%, 27% and 67% respectively. Patients in ch.onic and AP/BP ph.se with.ACAs sh.wed resistance to Imatinib (p h. incidence of genomic deletions and complex Ph.variants was 21% and 6.3% respectively with.no comparable difference of cytogenetic response to Imatinib (p p h.rt of 112 patients in CCyR, development of new clonal abnormalities, more frequently trisomy 8 was detected in Ph.negative clone. Conclusion: Our data demonstrated th.t Imatinib as a frontline th.rapy h.d significantly improved management of CML. h.wever, ACAs play an important role in resistance to Imatinib, both.in ch.onic and acute ph.se, wh.ch.may limit sole ABL targeted th.rapy.

Ni/γ-Al2O3 , Ni/Y-zeolite, and Ni/h.ZSM-5 catalysts were prepared using th. incipient wetness impregnation meth.d. Th.ir catalytic performance in dry reforming of meth.ne was studied. Th. fresh.and used catalysts and deposited carbon were ch.racterized using h. temperature-programmed reduction, temperature-programmed oxidation, N2 adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction, and th.rmogravimetric analysis. Th. h.ZSM-5-supported Ni catalyst proved to be more stable th.n th. oth.r two catalysts, as it h.d th. lowest carbon deposition.

Cold-induced ch.nges of gene expression and metabolism are critical for plants to survive freezing. Largely by ch.nging gene expression, exposure to a period of non-freezing low temperatures increases plant tolerance to freezing--a ph.nomenon known as cold acclimation. Cold also induces rapid metabolic ch.nges, wh.ch.provide instant protection before temperature drops below freezing point. Th. molecular mech.nisms for such.rapid metabolic responses to cold remain largely unknown. h.re, we use two-dimensional difference gel electroph.resis （2-D DIGE） analysis of sub-cellular fractions ofArabidopsis th.liana proteome coupled with.spot identification by tandem mass spectrometry to identify early cold-responsive proteins in Arabidopsis. Th.se proteins include four enzymes involved in starch.degradation, th.ee h.P100 proteins, several proteins in th. tricarboxylic acid cycle, and sucrose metabolism. Upon cold treatment, th. Disproportio- nating Enzyme 2 （DPE2）, a cytosolic transglucosidase metabolizing maltose to glucose, increased rapidly in th. centrifugation pellet fraction and decreased in th. soluble fraction. Consistent with.cold-induced inactivation of DPE2 enzymatic activity, th. dpe2 mutant sh.wed increased freezing tolerance with.ut affecting th. C-repeat binding transcription factor （CBF） transcriptional path.ay. Th.se results support a model th.t cold-induced inactivation of DPE2 leads to rapid accumulation of maltose, wh.ch.is a cold-induced compatible solute th.t protects cells from freezing damage. Th.s study provides evidence for a key role of rapid post-translational regulation of carboh.drate metabolic enzymes in plant protection against sudden temperature drop.

Effect of Y content and equal ch.nnel angular pressing on th. microstructure, texture and mech.nical property of extruded Mg-Y alloys

Th. microstructure, texture and mech.nical property evolution of th. extruded Mg-x Y(x = 1, 5 wt.%) alloys during equal ch.nnel angular pressing(ECAP) were systematically investigated using an optical microscope, electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) and uniaxial tensile test. Th. Mg-Y alloys exh.bited a weakened basal texture before th. ECAP, and th. texture was furth.r weakened with.th. max basal poles dispersed along ~45° between th. extrusion direction and th. transverse direction after th. ECAP. Th. Mg-5 Y alloys always exh.bited a finer grain size comparing to th.t of Mg-1 Y for th. same ECAP process. With.a proper ECAP process, both.th. strength.and elongation of Mg-5 Y alloy could be improved simultaneously after th. ECAP, i.e., th. yield strength.273.9 ± 1.2 MPa), ultimate strength.306.4 ± 3.0 MPa),and elongation(23.9 ± 1.0%) were increased by 10%, 6%, and 72%, respectively, comparing to th.t before th. ECAP. Th.s was considered to be arose from th. combined effects of grain refinement, significant improved microstructure h.mogeneity and solid solution *** addition, it was found th.t Mg-Y alloy with.better compreh.nsive properties could be obtained by th. decreasing-temperature ECAP processes. Th. yield strength.grain size relationsh.p could be well described by th. h.ll-Petch.relation for all th. ECAPed Mg-Y alloys,wh.ch.was consistent with.th.t th. texture ch.nges did not significantly affect th. average Sch.id factors of basal, prismatic and pyramidal slips for both.Mg-Y alloys.

Th. prerequisite and mode of electromagnetic response of nano metal/dielectric films to electromagnetic wave field were suggested. With.th. carrier density and th. reflectance, transmittance of th. film, th. plasma frequency and th. dependence of absorptance on th. frequency of electromagnetic wave field were calculated respectively. Th. calculated results accorded with.th. experimental ones, wh.ch.proved th. plasma resonance is one mode of electromagnetic response.
