A theory of tailing wavetrain generation for the precursor soliton generation in two-layer flow is presented by using averaged KdV equations (AKdV), which are derived by the authors in terms of Whitham's method of averaging([1,2]). From the AKdV equations, group velocities of the tailing wavetrain generation are obtained by means of generating conditions of the tailing wavetrains, furthermore an analytical solution of the tailing wavetrain generation is found theoretically. A comparison between the theoretical and numerical results is carried out in the present paper, which shows that the theoretical results are in good agreement with the numerical ones, obtained from the fKdV equation in two-layer flow with the depth of unity in the rest.

To evaluate maternal hepatitis B virus (HBV) DnA as risk for perinatal HBV infection among infants of HBV-infected women in california. METHODSRetrospective analysis among infants born to hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-positive mothers who received post vaccination serologic testing (PVST) between 2005 and 2011 in california. Demographic information was collected from the california Department of Public Health Perinatal Hepatitis B Program databaseand matched to birth certificate records. HBV DnA level and hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) status were obtained from three large commercial laboratories in california and provider records if available and matched to mother infant pairs. Univariate analysis compared infected and uninfected infants. Multivariate analysis was restricted to infected infants and controls with complete maternal HBV DnA results using a predefined high HBV DnA level of > 2 × 107 IU/mL, a 5:1 ratio of cases to controls and a two-sided confidence level of 95%. RESULTSA total of 17687 infants were born to HBsAg positive mothers in california between Jan 1 2005 and Dec 31, 2011. Among 11473 infants with PVST, only 125 (1.1%) were found to be HBV infected. Among these infected infants, lapses in Advisory committee on Immunization Practices recommended post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) occurred in only 9 infants. However, PEP errors were not significantly different between infected and uninfected infants. Among the 347 uninfected and infected infants who had maternal HBeAg and HBV DnA level, case-control analysis found HBeAg positivity (70.4% vs 28.9%, OR = 46.76, 95%cI: 6.05-361.32, P nd a maternal HBV DnA level ≥ 2 × 107 IU/mL (92.6% vs 18.5%, OR = 54.5, 95%cI: 12.22-247.55, P ciated with perinatal HBV infection. Following an introduction, non-native species are exposed to environments that differ from those found in their native range; further, as these non-native species expand beyond the site of introduction, they must constantly adapt to novel environ- ments. Although introduced species are present across most ecosystems, few species have successfully established themselves on a truly global scale. One such species, the house sparrow Passer domesticus, is now one of the world＇s most broadly distributed vertebrate species and has been introduced to a great part of its current range. To date, work on four continents suggests both ge- netic and phenotypic variation exists between native and introduced ranges. As such, house sparrows represent an excellent op- portunity to study adaptations to novel environments and how these adaptations are derived. The global distribution of this spe- cies and the multiple independent introductions to geographically isolated sites allow researchers to ask questions regarding ge- netic variation and adaptation on a global scale. Here, we summarize the molecular studies of invasive house sparrows from the earliest work using allozymes through more recent work on epigenetics; using these studies, we discuss patterns of dispersal of this species. We then discuss future directions in techniques （e.g. next generation sequencing） and how they will provide new in- sight into questions that are fundamental to invasion biology. Finally, we discuss how continued research on the house sparrow in light of these genetic changes and adaptations will elucidate answers of adaptation, invasion biology, range expansion, and resi- lience in vertebrate systems generally

Based on monthly data from 55 meteorological stations from the north Pacific Watershed, seven annual rainfall trends were estimated and analyzed using non-parametric tests. The estimated slopes were analyzed in a geographic context to determine a potential spatial arrangement. Finally a brief analysis of the potential vegetation response from the different physiographic regions and the implications in the productive analysis is discussed. The findings indicated divergent trends in all the proposed variables, in general increasing and drier trends were found. Latitude was the most relevant factor regarding trend behavior in geographic terms. The lack of awareness and apathy from the authorities in the region were found, plus the regional vulnerability may originate notorious and serious consequences if the proper measures are not taken into account.

The concentration of cr, ni, cu, Zn, Hg and Pb, considered like toxic, was evaluated in fish tissues by means the total reflection X-Ray Fluorescence technique (TXRF). Grass carp (ctenopharygodon idella) samples were collected from six regions of the Tepuxtepec Dam which was used as a water reservoir and fish production for the local population. Fish tissues: gills, liver, kidney and muscle were analyzed in triplicate using a TXRF spectrometer “TX-2000 Ital Structures” with a Si(Li) detector and a resolution of 140 eV (FWHM) at Mn Kα and Mo tube (40 kV, 30 mA) with 17.4 KeV excitation energy. The mean concentration of metals in tissues decrease in the sequence: Kidney ≈ Gills > Liver > Muscle;the range of concentration for Zn was 26.68 - 816.67 mg/Kg followed by cu: 1.18 - 35.81 mg/Kg, cr: 1.10 - 9.30 mg/Kg, ni: 0.40 - 3.80 mg/Kg, Pb: nd Hg: chromium and mercury concentrations slightly exceed the limits for fish proposed by FAO/WHO and Mexican legislation for human consumption in the edible parts of fish from each one of the regions of the Tepuxtepec Dam. The results show that metal accumulation in herbivorous carp tissues was higher in regions 1, 2 and 3 than the others, which could be due to the influence of lerma River, one of the most polluted rivers of Mexico.

As new technologies emerge data centers and servers have established themselves as one of the largest and fastest growing consumers of *** switched capacitor converter topologies have some very attractive features,namely low reliance on magnetic components and high efficiency,several critical factors have prevented their adoption in high current data center *** family of converters proposed are novel intermediate bus converter that demonstrates the highest performance yet achieved for 48 V to 12 V conversion with up to 2.5 kW/in^(3) power density,higher than 99% peak efficiency,and 97.2% full load efficiency for 12 V/70 A *** reduction of voltage stress across the MOSFETs as well as extremely low reliance on magnetics are the key driving factors behind this high efficiency and power density,and are achieved without a sensitive resonant design or the usage of complex control technique.
