Postpartum Eclampsia in the Department of Ob.tetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine of the Souro Sanou University Hospital;b.rkina Faso: Ab.ut 76 Cases

b.ckground: Postpartum eclampsia is a life-threatening ob.tetric emergency. Its management is multidisciplinary. Despite measures taken to accelerate the reduction of maternal, fetal and infant mortality in b.rkina Faso, maternal deaths related to postpartum eclampsia persist. The aim of the study was to investigate the epidemiological, clinical and prognostic aspects of postpartum eclampsia in the ob.tetrics department of the Sourô Sanou University Hospital in b.b.-Dioulasso. Method: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study with retrospective data collection covering the period from June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019. We included 76 patients in the study;the variab.es studied were the epidemiological, clinical and prognostic aspects. The data collected were entered on a microcomputer and analyzed with the EPI info version 7.2 software. Results: The prevalence of postpartum eclampsia was 0.87% compared to admissions to the ob.tetrics department. The average age of the patients was 23 years old with the extremes of 15 and 39 years old. Primiparas accounted for 39.47%, housewives 53%, and home b.rths accounted for 15.79%. Seizures accounted for 55% of the reasons for admission, the average time to onset of these seizures postpartum was 3.8 days with extremes of 1 and 30 days with 45% of seizures occurring postpartum immediately. Maternal complications were noted in 42.10% of cases with 5 cases of Hellp syndrome, 3 cases of renal failure, and 3 cases of acute pulmonary edema. We recorded 4 cases of maternal death, representing a case fatality rate of 5.2%. Conclusion: Postpartum eclampsia is common in the ob.tetrics department of the Souro Sanou University Hospital Center with a significant case fatality rate. Emphasis should b. placed on monitoring and prevention, especially women at risk of developing postpartum eclampsia for b.tter maternal prognosis.

Rituximab.is a monoclonal antib.dy that targets CD20, which is a specific b.cell surface antigen. It was the first monoclonal antib.dy that was approved for the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, rheumatoid arthritis, and other cutaneous lymphoid malignancies. There are many off-lab.l uses of rituximab. such as systemic lupus erythematosus, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, multiple sclerosis, graft-versus-host disease, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and chronic immune-mediated thromb.cytopenia. Among the rare side effects associated with rituximab.treatment is vasculitis, more specifically, leukocytoclastic vasculitis. Here, we describ. a 21-year-old Saudi female with leukocytoclastic vasculitis occurring three months after treatment with rituximab.

[目的]孵化后期热处理能够在一定程度上提高肉鸡的耐热性,而骨骼肌和肝脏线粒体功能及温敏瞬时电位(transient receptor potential,TRP)离子通道与机体耐热性密切相关。因此,本试验旨在研究孵化后期热处理(thermal manipulation,TM)对雏鸡骨骼肌和肝脏温敏TRP离子通道及线粒体功能的影响。[方法]选取240枚AA肉鸡种蛋随机分为3组(每组8个重复,每重复10枚种蛋):CON组,37.5℃孵化;TM1组,在孵化期第16~18天39.5℃热处理3 h·d^(-1);TM2组,在孵化期第16~18天41.5℃热处理3 h·d^(-1)。出雏后测定1日龄直肠温度,检测胸肌、腿肌和肝脏组织相关基因表达水平。[结果]与CON组相比,孵化后期热处理显著降低了1日龄雏鸡的直肠温度(Pb.Pb.因表达水平显著增加(P<0.05);TM2组雏鸡肝脏组织的Tfam和SERCA1基因表达水平显著增加(P<0.05)。相关性分析结果显示,温敏TRP基因表达水平与线粒体经典产热基因avUCP和avANT表达呈正相关关系,与线粒体氧化磷酸化功能相关基因表达水平呈负相关关系。[结论]孵化后期热处理可通过降低1日龄雏鸡胸肌的温敏TRP基因和线粒体产热相关基因表达水平水平,增加线粒体生物发生及氧化磷酸化功能相关基因表达水平,引起线粒体热适应性变化。

Mining Patterns from Change Logs to Support Reuse-Driven Evolution of Software Architectures

Modern software systems are sub.ect to a continuous evolution under frequently varying requirements andchanges in systems＇ operational environments. Lehman＇s law of continuing change demands for long-living and continuouslyevolving software to prolong its productive life and economic value b. accommodating changes in existing software. Reusab.eknowledge and practices have proven to b. successful for continuous development and evolution of the software effectivelyand efficiently. However, challenges such as empirical acquisition and systematic application of the reusab.e knowledge andpractices must b. addressed to enab.e or enhance software evolution. We investigate architecture change logs -- mininghistories of architecture-centric software evolution -- to discover change patterns that 1） support reusab.lity of architecturalchanges and 2） enhance the efficiency of the architecture evolution process. We model architecture change logs as a graphand apply graph-b.sed formalism （i.e., graph mining techniques） to discover software architecture change patterns. Wehave developed a prototype that enab.es tool-driven automation and user decision support during software evolution. Wehave used the ISO-IEC-9126 model to qualitatively evaluate the proposed solution. The evaluation results suggest that theproposed solution 1） enab.es the reusab.lity of frequent architectural changes and 2） enhances the efficiency of architecture-centric software evolution process. The proposed solution promotes research efforts to exploit the history of architecturalchanges to empirically discover knowledge that can guide architecture-centric software evolution.
