We present results of an experimental study of magnetoresistance (MR) in insulating NbSi amorphous alloys sample showing Variable Range Hopping (VRH) conductivity. The MR is found to be negative in a wide range of low temperature (4.2-20 K) and in the range of moderate magnetic fields (0-4 T). We present results of an experimental study of magnetoresistance phenomenon in an amorphous silicon-nickel alloys a-Si1-yNiy:H:H (where y = 0.23) on the insulating side of the metal-insulator transition (MIT) in presence of magnetic field up to 4.5 T and at very low temperature. The electrical resistivity is found to follow the Efros-Shklovskii Variable Range Hopping regime (ES VRH) with T -1/2. This behaviour indicates the existence of the Coulomb gap (CG) near the Fermi level.

On the insulating side of the metal-insulator transition (MIT), the study of the effect of low Temperatures T on the electrical transport in amorphous silicon-nickel alloys a-Si1-yNiy:H exhibits that the electrical conductivity follows, at the beginning, the Efros-Shklovskii Variable Range Hopping regime (ES VRH) with T-1/2. This behaviour showed that long range electron-electron interaction reduces the Density Of State of carriers (DOS) at the Fermi level and creates the Coulomb gap (CG). For T higher than a critical value of temperature TC, we obtained the Mott Variable Range Hopping regime with T-1/4, indicating that the DOS becomes almost constant in the vicinity of the Fermi level. The critical temperature TC decreases with nickel content in the alloys.

The smart city is a technological framework that connects the city’s different components to create new *** connection is possible with the help of the Internet of Things(IoT),which provides a digital personality to physical *** studies have proposed integrating Blockchain technology with IoT in different use cases as access,orchestration,or replicated storage *** majority of connected objects’capacity limitation makes the use of Blockchain inadequate due to its redundancy and its conventional processing-intensive consensus like *** paper addresses these challenges by proposing a NOVEL model of a lightweight Blockchain framework(IoT-SmartChain),with a lightweight consensus and a lightweight *** framework architecture presents a role hierarchy of connected objects according to their computational and storage *** organization allows all things to be linked even indirectly via different interfaces and to benefit from the power of high-capacity objects such as Fog and Edge computing *** is validated and added to the blockchain ledger by running a lightweight consensus called Proof of Random Participation(PoRP),which reduces the blockchain nodes’high computing power *** TOPIC subscription-based data storage strategy called Assisted Selected Relevant Data in Local Ledger(ASRDLL)reduces the data size of a node’s local ledger and the entire network’s data *** strategy is assisted by a centralized algorithm that optimizes the overall network size by adjusting the choice of *** storage capacity,computational power,and energy consumption have been evaluated by a proof of concept implementation under NodeJS.

The building sector is one of the main energy-consuming sectors in *** fact,it accounts for 33%of the final consumption of energy and records a high increase in the annual consumption of energy caused by further planned large-scale ***,the energy consumption of the building sector is experiencing a significant acceleration justified by the rapid need for the development of housing stock,wich is estimated at an average increase of 1,5%per year;furthermore,tant is an estimated increase of about 6,4%.In this sense,building constitutes an important potential source for rationalizing both energy consumption and energy savings through the adoption of energy efficiency *** consumption control efforts in the residential building sector involve socio-economic,technological,and environmental concerns that require sophisticated ***,different types of quantitative models have been developed and examined so as to find a solution for the optimizing energy *** this work,we have highlighted the importance of using solar heaters to reduce energy demand in terms of the use of domestic hot *** do this,we have defined the needs and characteristics of a solar installation of a residential building located in Casablanca through a calculating tool“SOLO 2000”in addition to the use of multiple linear regression analysis to deduct the impact of irradiation and solar contributions on the energy demand of the solar installation.

In this paper, we discuss low-temperature hopping-conductivity behavior in the insulating phase, in the absence of a magnetic field. We conduct a theoretical study of the crossover from hopping to activated transport in a GaAs two-dimensional hole system at low temperatures, finding that a crossover takes place from the Efros-Shklovskii variable-range hopping(VRH)regime to an activated regime in this system. This conductivity behavior in p-GaAs quantum wells is qualitatively consistent with the laws laid down in theories of localized electron interactions. Given sufficiently strong interactions, the holes in the localized states are able to hop collectively.

One of the difficulties encountered in the study of dusty plasmas is related to the knowledge of the size of the dust particles present. A variety of sources, physical and chemical mechanisms of formation, causes a wide variety of sizes and morphologies of dust. The diameter of a dust will not be unique but spread over several orders of magnitude. Its distribution in number, surface, mass or volume is called distribution. It is important to know this distribution in particle size because it strongly impacts the physical and radiative processes. To have a dust distribution in situ is very difficult;the reverse method can identify the particle populations from light extinction measures. In this study, we present an inversion procedure with a Tikhonov regularization dedicated to the determination of volume size distribution (V-PSD) from extinction measurements corresponding to the different wavelengths obtained by the Extinction Spectrometry technique.

The growing advent of the Internet of Things(IoT)users is driving the adoption of cloud computing *** integration of IoT in the cloud enables storage and computational capabilities for IoT ***,security has been one of the main concerns of cloud-integrated *** work attempts to address the security concerns of cloud-integrated IoT through authentication,access control,and blockchain-based ***,existing frameworks are somewhat limited by scalability,privacy,and centralized *** mitigate the existing problems,we propose a blockchain-based distributed access control method for secure storage in the IoT cloud(BL-DAC).Initially,the BL-DAC performs decentralized authentication using the Quantum Neural Network Cryptography(QNNC)*** users and edge nodes are authenticated in the blockchain deployed by distributed Trusted Authorities(TAs)using multiple *** user data is classified into sensitive and non-sensitive categories using the Enhanced Seagull Optimization(ESO)***,the authentication to access this data is performed by a decentralized access control method using smart contract *** user data is encrypted using the QNNC algorithm and stored in the private *** contrast,non-sensitive data is stored in the public cloud,and IPFS is used to store data in a decentralized manner with high *** addition,data security is improved by using a hierarchical blockchain which improves scalability by managing the multiple blockchains hierarchically and is lightweight using Proof of Authentication Consensus(PoAH).The BL-DAC is simulated and validated using the Network Simulator-3.26 simulation tool and *** work shows better results than the compared ones in terms of validation metrics such as throughput(26%),encryption time(19%),decryption time(16%),response time(15%),block validation time(31%),attack detection rate(16%),access control precision(13%),and scalability(28%
