Weight penalty has been a challenge for design engineers of aerospace ***’s high-efficiency combat aircraft undergoes intense stress and strain during flying missions,which require stronger and stiffer materials to retain structural *** metallic materials have been successfully used for the construction of aircraft structures and components,metals still have a low strength-to-weight *** paper aims to develop an alternate optimised material selection methodology to replace the metallic skin of a medium-sized military *** search for the optimum material will result in reduced aircraft weight which will be benefitted by extra payload on the *** selection methodology is comprised of finding design pressure limits on the aircraft skin,and comparison of properties(strength,elastic modulus,shear modulus,etc.)and performance(safety factor,deflection,and stress)of the existing metallic skin with alternate optimised *** comparison was made under aerodynamic pressure,bending force,and twisting *** Fibre Reinforced Polymer/Epoxy(CFRP)Uni-directional(Ud)prepreg(elastic modolus is 209 GPa)was selected as an alternate optimum material to replace the aluminium alloy skin of the aircraft *** selected alternate optimum material resulted in the reduction of aircraft skin weight by 30%.

In the recent years,biological nanostructures coatings have been incorporated into orthopedic and dental implants in order to accelerate osseointegration and reducing surgical *** the present work,chemical etching,anodization and metal doping surface modification methods were integrated in one strategy to fabricate innovative titanium surfaces denominated by titanium nanoporous,anodized titanium nanoporous,silver-anodized titanium nanoporous and gold-anodized titanium *** stability properties of nanostructures-coated surfaces were elucidated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） after 7 days of immersion in simulated biological *** and chemical compositions of new surfaces were characterized by scanning electron microscope and energy-dispersive X-ray *** EIS results and data fitting to the electrical equivalent circuit model demonstrated the influence of adsorption of bovine serum albumin on new surfaces as a function of protein *** process was described by the very well-known model of the Langmuir adsorption *** thermodynamic parameter dGAdS（-50 to 59 kJ mol^（-1）） is calculated,which supports the instantaneous adsorption of protein from biological fluids to new surfaces and refers to their good ***,this study explores new surface strategy to gain new implants as a means of improving clinical outcomes of patients undergoing orthopedic surgery.

As dehydration is related to negative health outcomes in the elderly,including an increased risk of disability and death,prevention may help improve health,functional status,and quality of *** diagnosis can be challenging in the elderly as the traditional physical indications of dehydration may be absent or *** etiologies place the elderly at an increased *** role of the community health nurse(CHN)derives from the responsibilities attached to her,and the Betty Neuman’s Systems Model of health care with three levels of protection is usually applied to the *** this mini-review,we try to integrate the Betty Neuman’s Systems Model with the results of identified *** study includes a literature search of reputable international databases such as SpringerLink,PubMed,Embase,and Wanfang,particularly for the period 2005 to the *** articles that met the qualifying criteria were included in this *** findings of this study draw a picture of the role of CHN in preventing dehydration across the three levels of prevention as mentioned by Betty Neuman.

The optimal distribution of fluid viscous dampers（FVd）in controlling the seismic response of eccentric,single-storey,moment resisting concrete structures is investigated using the previously defined center of damping constant（CdC）.For this purpose,a number of structural models with different one-way stiffness and strength eccentricities are *** nonlinear time history analyses are carried out for various arrangements of *** is shown that the arrangement of FVds for controlling the torsional behavior due to asymmetry in the concrete structures is very dependent on the intensity of the peak ground acceleration（PGA）and the extent of the structural stiffness and strength *** results indicate that,in the linear range of structural behavior the stiffness eccentricity es which is the main parameter in determining the location of optimal CdC,is found to be less or smaller than the optimal damping constant eccentricity e＊d,i.e.,｜e＊d｜〉｜es｜.But,in the nonlinear range of structural behavior where the strength eccentricity er is the dominant factor in determining the location of optimal CdC,｜e＊d｜〉｜er｜.It is also concluded that for the majority of the plan-asymmetric,concrete structures considered in this study with er ≠ 0,the optimal CdC approaches the center of mass as er decreases.

A piggyback pipeline consists of two pipes such that the secondary line rides on the main pipe with a fixed distance between two pipes in *** novel strategy is utilized in offshore areas instead of a single flow *** this regard,there are only a handful of experimental and numerical studies investigating the effect of scour below a piggyback pipeline under steady ***,this study focuses on examining the influential factors on scouring due to steady current including the pipe diameter and the gap between pipes through numerical simulations and experimental ***,at the first phase of the research,a single pipe was established and tested in laboratory to compare the results with those of an empirical *** finishing experimental verifications,piggyback pipelines were also assembled to study the scouring under steady current *** was concluded that by increasing the gap distance between the pipes,the maximum scour depth decreases;however,an increase in the small pipe’s diameter results in a larger maximum scour ***,numerical simulations were carried out using the FLOW-3d software which was found to be a suitable tool for the numerical investigation of this ***,the numerical results have been compared with the corresponding experimental data and a relatively good agreement was achieved between them.

The article describes a new method for malware classification,based on a Machine Learning(ML)model architecture specifically designed for malware detection,enabling real-time and accurate malware *** an innovative feature dimensionality reduction technique called the Interpolation-based Feature dimensionality Reduction Technique(IFdRT),the authors have significantly reduced the feature space while retaining critical information necessary for malware *** technique optimizes the model’s performance and reduces computational *** proposed method is demonstrated by applying it to the BOdMAS malware dataset,which contains 57,293 malware samples and 77,142 benign samples,each with a 2381-feature *** the IFdRT method,the dataset is transformed,reducing the number of features while maintaining essential data for accurate *** evaluation results show outstanding performance,with an F1 score of 0.984 and a high accuracy of 98.5%using only two reduced *** demonstrates the method’s ability to classify malware samples accurately while minimizing processing *** method allows for improving computational efficiency by reducing the feature space,which decreases the memory and time requirements for training and *** new method’s effectiveness is confirmed by the calculations,which indicate significant improvements in malware classification accuracy and *** research results enhance existing malware detection techniques and can be applied in various cybersecurity applications,including real-timemalware detection on resource-constrained *** and scientific contribution lie in the development of the IFdRT method,which provides a robust and efficient solution for feature reduction in ML-based malware classification,paving the way for more effective and scalable cybersecurity measures.

Technology advances in the last a few decades have resulted in profound changes in our society, from workplaces to living rooms to how we socialize with each other. These changes in turn drive further technology developments, as the exponential growth of data demands ever increasing computing power. However, improvements in computing capacity from device scaling alone is no longer sufficient, and new materials, devices, and architectures likely need to be developed collaboratively to meet present and future computing needs. Specifically, devices that offer co-located memory and computing characteristics,as represented by memristor devices and memristor-based computing systems, have attracted broad interest in the last decade. Besides tremendous appeal in data storage applications, memristors offer the potential for efficient hardware realization of neuromorphic computing architectures that can effectively address the memory and energy walls faced by conventional von Neumann computing architectures. In this review, we evaluate the state-of-the-art in memristor devices and systems, and highlight the potential and challenges of applying such devices and architectures in neuromorphic computing applications. New directions that can lead to general, efficient in-memory computing systems will also be discussed.
