Active distribution grids cause bi-directional power flow between transmission system(TS)and distribution system(DS),which not only affects the optimal cost but also the secure operation of the power *** paper proposes a hybrid coordination method to solve the risk-aware distributed optimal power flow(RA-DOPF)problem in coordinated TS and *** operation risk evaluation,the weather-based contingencies are considered in both TS and DS.A hybrid coordination method is developed that entails analytical target cascading(ATC)and Benders decomposition(BD).Moreover,the risk-aware optimal power flow(RAOPF)in TS and risk-based security-constrained optimal power flow in DS have been performed using the BD method considering basic optimal power flow as a master problem,whereas N-1 and N-2 contingencies are considered as *** case studies are performed using the IEEE 30-bus system with generation reserves as a TS and a 13-bus system as a *** results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method.

Mavlink is a lightweight and most widely used open-source communication protocol used for Unmanned Aerial *** UAVs and autopilot systems support it,and it provides bi-directional communication between the UAV and Ground Control *** communications contain critical information about the UAV status and basic control commands sent from GCS to UAV and UAV to *** order to increase the transfer speed and efficiency,the Mavlink does not encrypt the *** a result,the protocol is vulnerable to various security attacks such as Eavesdropping,GPS Spoofing,and *** this study,we tackle the problem and secure the Mavlink communication *** leveraging the Mavlink packet’s vulnerabilities,this research work introduces an experiment in which,first,the Mavlink packets are compromised in terms of security requirements based on our threat *** results show that the protocol is insecure and the attacks carried out are *** overcomeMavlink security,an additional security layer is added to encrypt and secure the *** encryption technique is proposed that makes the communication between the UAV and GCS *** results show that the Mavlink packets are encrypted using our technique without affecting the performance and *** results are validated in terms of transfer speed,performance,and efficiency compared to the literature solutions such as MAVSec and benchmarked with the original Mavlink *** achieved results have significant improvement over the literature and Mavlink in terms of security.

BACKGROUND:Ultrasound has the first line investigation role in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis in *** purpose of this study was to perform a quality assessment review on the visualization rate of appendix on ultrasound in children in the community hospital ***:A retrospective chart review of the abdominal ultrasound findings for the visualization of the appendix was performed on paediatric patients ranging from 5 to 18 *** were collected from the two community hospitals of Toronto by using hospital electronic medical record for the ultrasound findings in patients presented with abdominal ***:Data from two community hospitals indicated visualization rate of the appendix as 11.0%and 23.2%for site 1 and site 2 *** cases where the ultrasound was repeated the visualization rate remains the same.A two-proportion z-test was performed to find whether the visualization of appendix increases the likelihood of diagnosing *** results revealed that the visualization of an appendix(P=0.52),significantly improved the diagnosis of appendicitis(z=34,P<0.001).CONCLUSION:Visualization of an appendix on ultrasound increases the likelihood of correctly diagnosing *** our study,we found low visualization rate of appendix on ultrasound that could be the result of many factors that contribute towards the low visualization rate of an appendix on ***,the challenges in identifying appendix should be minimized to improve the visualization and diagnosis of appendicitis on ultrasound.

High-surface-area mesoprous powders of γ-Al2O3 doped with Cu^2＋, Cr^3＋, and V^3＋ ions were prepared uia a modified sol-gel method and were investigated as catalysts for the oxidation of chlorinated organic compounds. The composites retained high surface areas and pore volumes comparable with those of undoped γ-Al2O3 and the presence of the transition metal ions enhanced their surface acidic properties. The catalytic activity of the prepared catalysts in the oxidation of 1,2-dichloroethane （DCE） was studied in the temperature range of 250-400℃. The catalytic activity and product selectivity were strongly dependent on the presence and the type of dopant ion. While Cu^2＋- and Cr^3＋-containing catalysts showed 100% conversion at 300℃ and 350℃, V3＋-containing catalyst showed considerably lower conversion. Furthermore, while the major products of the reactions over γ-alumina were vinyl chloride （C2H3Cl） and hydrogen chloride （HCl） at all temperatures, Cu- and Cr-doped catalysts showed siguiticantly stronger capability for deep oxidation to CO2.

【目的】明确纺梭负蝗(Atractomorpha burri)种群的耐寒能力。【方法】利用过冷却点测定仪分别测定云南省曲靖市纺梭负蝗各虫态过冷却能力和低温条件下低龄和老龄若虫的存活率。【结果】不同虫态纺梭负蝗的过冷却点和结冰点差异显著(P<0.05),卵期过冷却点和结冰点最低,分别为-16.16、-8.13℃;3龄若虫的过冷却点和结冰点最高,分别为-8.35、-5.20℃。雄性成虫的过冷却点和结冰点分别为-10.26、-7.18℃,低于雌性成虫的-9.00、-7.00℃。过冷却点和结冰点在同一虫态不同个体中的变异符合正态分布。3龄若虫和5龄若虫在低温条件下达到50%以上死亡率的温度分别为-7.00、-9.00℃。【结论】纺梭负蝗卵期的耐寒性最强,5龄若虫具有更强的低温耐受性,雄性成虫抗寒能力强于雌性成虫。

Wireless Body Area Network(WBAN)technologies are emerging with extensive applications in several *** is a fascinating domain of WBAN for smart monitoring of a patient’s *** important factor to consider in WBAN is a node’s *** the lifetime of nodes is critical to address many issues,such as utility and *** routing protocols have addressed the energy conservation problem but considered only a few parameters,thus affecting their ***,most of the existing schemes did not consider traffic prioritization which is critical in *** this paper,an adaptive multi-cost routing protocol is proposed with a multi-objective cost function considering minimum distance from sink,temperature of sensor nodes,priority of sensed data,and maximum residual energy on sensor *** performance of the proposed protocol is compared with the existing schemes for the parameters:network lifetime,stability period,throughput,energy consumption,and path *** is evident from the obtained results that the proposed protocol improves network lifetime and stability period by 30%and 15%,respectively,as well as outperforms the existing protocols in terms of throughput,energy consumption,and path loss.

Objective: To evaluate the antihyperglycemic potential of Tamarix aphylla(T. aphylla)leaves in STZ–NIC induced diabetes in Wister Albino ***: Acute toxicity study was done to check the toxicity of T. aphylla(L. Karst)methanol extract. T. aphylla leaves extract was administered intraperitoneally(100 mg,250 mg and 400 mg/kg body weight per day) to diabetic Wister rats for 21 days. The various parameters were studied including fasting blood glucose levels, haemoglobin and glycosylated ***: The treatment groups with the extract at three dose levels expressively abridged the intensities of blood glucose and Glycosylated Haemoglobin. The earlier detected reduced level of plasma haemoglobin of the diabetic rats was raised to near normalcy with treatment of ***: The results of the current study confirm that the leaves extract of T. aphylla are nontoxic and have antidiabetic nature.

For many years,the most common acid practice for sandstone acidizing is based on mud acid and dolomite formations using hydrochloric *** various stages of sandstone acidizing,different acids react with different minerals,and interactions of minerals with acids are an origin for precipitation reactions,which can be possibly deleterious as they may reduce reservoir *** this research,the effects of chelates on pore size distribution,mineralogy,and grain size distribution have been *** chelates(GLDA,HEDTA,EDTA)were examined to react with different Berea Sandstone samples at a temperature of 180F and under 1000 psi confining *** techniques and analysis like Tescan Integrated Mineral Analysis(TIMA),were implemented in this research to understand the effect of chelates on Berea *** results are related to elemental mass,element deportment,mineral mass,mineral locking,grain size distribution,and particle size distribution of the core samples reacted with different chelating *** has been found that all the chelating agents are effective in increasing the porosity and dissolving the cations from the Berea sandstone core *** proved to be more effective in dissolving quartz as compared to other *** proved to be more effective in the dissolution of rutile and zircon *** significance of this research is the application of environment-friendly chelating agents to sandstone ***,the detailed mineral analysis revealed that the most number of particles were dissolved by HEDTA.
