Taguchi experimental design technique was applied to determine the most influential controlling parameters of FSP such as tool rotational speed,travel speed,tilt angle and penetration depth on hardness value of *** this case,9 combinations of these 4 essential processing parameters were set and Taguchi's method followed *** to noise ratio(S/N)analysis showed that maximum hardness achieved when rotational and travel speeds,penetration depth and tilt angel were chosen as 1600 rpm,63 mm/min,0.1 mm and 2°,*** addition,analysis of variance(ANOVA)technique indicated that tilt angle and rotational as well as travel speed are the significant influential parameters in the hardness value of the treated samples,*** a model for hardness values based on FSP parameters was calculated by design expert which was also confirmed by experimental results.

Optimal control is one of the most popular decision-making tools recently in many researches and in many areas. The Lorenz-Rössler model is one of the interesting models because of the idea of consolidation of the two models: Lorenz and össler. This paper discusses the Lorenz-Rössler model from the bifurcation phenomena and the optimal control problem (OCP). This study deals with the analysis of dynamic mechanical,thermal and flammability properties of treated and untreated pineapple leaf fiber(PALF)and kenaf fiber(KF)phenolic *** indicated that storage modulus was decreased for all composites with increases in temperature and pattern of slopes for all composites,having almost the same values of E′at glass transition temperature(Tg).The peak of the loss modulus of pure phenolic composites was shown to be much *** the addition of kenaf/PALF,peaks were higher and shifted towards a high *** Tan delta peak height was low for pure phenolic composites and maximum for 60%PALF phenolic ***-Cole analysis was carried out to understand the phase behavior of the composite *** analysis(TGA)results indicated that pure phenolic composites have better thermal stability than PALF and kenaf phenolic *** and horizontal UL-94 tests were conducted and showed pure phenolic resin is highly fire *** overall results showed that treated KF composites enhanced the dynamic mechanical and thermal properties among all PALF/KF composites.

用板加固的钢-混组合梁的抗弯性能

研究了初始剥离对粘贴碳纤维增强复合板及焊接钢板的钢-混组合梁抗弯性能的影响。以碳纤维增强复合板加固时,将碳纤维增强复合板分别沿工字梁翼缘和腹板布置,用四点弯矩加载法对4种不同的加固钢-混组合梁进行试验。其中两种以碳纤维增强复合板全范围加固,其余两种另外在底翼缘底面布置50mm×50mm的初始剥离区域。以钢板加固时,分别采用间断焊接、端部焊接、连续焊接3种形式,也用四点弯矩加载法进行试验。结果表明,以碳纤维增强复合板全范围加固的梁在底翼缘屈服前并没有出现剥离现象。屈服后,由于剥离现象迅速发展,设初始剥离区域的梁的抗弯能力低于全范围焊接梁。以钢板加固时,不同焊接情况下,梁的屈服荷载差异明显,但弹性刚度基本相同。

Recent advancements in recanalizing therapies,i.e.,the combination of thrombolytic drugs with interventional thrombectomy,have considerably improved neurological outcome in ischemic stroke *** this progress,the large majority of stroke patients still exhibit neurological deficits in the long run,and ischemic stroke continues to be the most frequent cause of long-term ***,there is an unmet need for therapies that allow enhancing neurological recovery and brain plasticity in the post-acute stroke phase(Hermann and Chopp,2012).Preclinical studies,e.g.,delivering growth factors(Reitmeir et al.,2011)or neural precursor cells(NPC)(Bacigaluppi et al.,2016),have shown that brain plasticity can be successfully stimulated in the post-acute stroke phase,resulting in functional neurological *** findings raised the question whether it is possible to promote neurological recovery and brain plasticity in stroke patients.

Conventional approach of dealing with more users per coverage area in cellular networks implies densifying the amount of(Access Point)AP which will eventually result in a larger carbon *** this paper,we propose a base station off-loading and cell range extension(CRE)scheme based on multi-hop device-to-device(mHD2D)path selection between transmitter and receiver *** paper also provides derivations of upper and lower bounds for energy efficiency,capacity,and transmit *** proposed path selection scheme is inspired by the foraging behavior of honey *** present the algorithm as a modified variant of the artificial bee colony algorithm(mVABC).The proposed optimization problem is modeled as a minimization problem where we optimize the Energy Efficiency(EE).The proposed path selection mVABC is compared with the Genetic Algorithm(GA)and also with classical artificial bee colony(ABC)through simulations and statistical *** student’s t-test,p-value,and standard error of means(SEm)clearly show that mVABC based path selection out-performs the GA and classical ABC *** based approach is 66%more efficient when compared with classic ABC and about 62%efficient when compared with GA based scheme.

The utilisation of oil palm fibre(OPF)and pineapple leaf fibres(PALF)as reinforcement materials for bio-phenolic composites is growing especially in automotive lightweight *** major aim of this current study is to investigate the influence of alkali(Ca(OH)_(2)) treatment on pure and hybrid *** effects of enhancements in chemical interactions were evaluated by the Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectrometer(FTIR).Dynamic mechanical Analysis(DmA)and Thermogravimetric Analysis(TGA)performance of untreated reinforcements(OPF and PALF)and treated(OPF/OPF)composites at varying temperature and noted sufficient interfacial bonding contributing towards the improvements in thermal *** DmA results,the storage modulus improved with treated composites while the damping factor was ***,the treated hybrid composites exhibited significant improvements in thermal stability compared to untreated fibre *** results indicated that alkali calcium hydroxide(Ca(OH2(:T)incorporation in hybrid composites(OPF/PALF)results in increased tensile strength and modulus among all ***,the alkali-treated(Ca(OH)_(2))-treated pure composite(T/50%PALF),and hybrid composites(T/1OPF.1PALF)exhibited better flexural strength as compared with other *** contrast,the T/50%PALF showed higher flexural stress of 78.2 mPa,while the flexural modulus was recorded at 6503 *** can be proposed from the findings of this study that the alkali treatment(5%Ca(OH)_(2))can be utilised to improve the strength and efficiency of agriculture biomass to be used as reinforcements in ***,the hybridisation of bio-fibre composites has the potential as a novel variety of biodegradable and sustainable composites appropriate for several industrial and engineering applications.

The present paper deals with the effect of loading different pineapple leaf fibre(PALF)length(short,mixed and long fibres)and their reinforcement for the fabrication of vinyl ester(VE)*** of PALF/VE composites was investigated through three-point bending flexural testing and viscoelastic(dynamic)mechanical properties through dynamic mechanical analysis(DmA).DmA results revealed that the long PALF/VE composites displayed better mechanical,damping factor and dynamic properties as compared to the short and mixed PALF/VE *** flexural strength and modulus of long PALF/VE composites were 113.5 mPa and 14.3 GPa,*** storage(E′)and loss(E″)moduli increased to 2000 mPa and 225 mPa respectively for PALF/VE *** result analysis indicated that increasing the length of the reinforcement fibre results in satisfactory mechanical performance and dynamic properties of composites.
