It is crucial,while using healthcare data,to assess the advantages of data privacy against the possible *** from several sources must be combined for use in many data mining *** medical practitioner may use the results of association rule mining performed on this aggregated data to better personalize patient care and implement preventive ***,numerous heuristics(e.g.,greedy search)and metaheuristics-based techniques(e.g.,evolutionary algorithm)have been created for the positive association rule in privacy preserving data mining(PPDm).When it comes to connecting seemingly unrelated diseases and drugs,negative association rules may be more informative than their positive *** is well-known that during negative association rules mining,a large number of uninteresting rules are formed,making this a difficult problem to *** this research,we offer an adaptive method for negative association rule mining in vertically partitioned healthcare datasets that respects users’*** applied approach dynamically determines the transactions to be interrupted for information hiding,as opposed to predefining *** study introduces a novel method for addressing the problem of negative association rules in healthcare data mining,one that is based on the Tabu-genetic optimization *** search is advantageous since it removes a huge number of unnecessary rules and item *** using benchmark healthcare datasets prove that the discussed scheme outperforms state-of-the-art solutions in terms of decreasing side effects and data distortions,as measured by the indicator of hiding failure.

Background:Heat stress(HS)disrupts the gut barrier allowing the uptake of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and leads to an inflammatory response and changes in gut microbiota *** oleifera leaf powder(mOLP)has been proposed to combat HS,yet its alleviate role is currently under *** current study investigated the effects of chronic HS and mOLP supplementation on changes in redox status and immune response of cecal mucosa along with alteration in cecal ***:A total of 21 young New Zealand White(NZW)rabbits(male)about 32 weeks old(mean body weight of 3318±171 g)reared on a commercial pelleted diet were employed;divided into three groups(n=7):control(CON,25°C),heat stress(HS,35°C for 7 h daily),and HS supplemented orally with mOLP(HSm,35°C)at 200 mg/kg body weight per day for 4 ***:The results demonstrated that mOLP supplementation increased organ index of cecal tissue compared with the HS group(P>0.05).Levels of malonaldehyde(mDA)and activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD)as well as lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)were reduced in the cecal mucosa of the HSm group compared with the HS *** downregulated the contents of cecal mucosa LPS,several inflammatory markers(TNF-α/IL-1α/IL-1β),and myeloperoxidase(mPO)in the HSm group(Pmmunoglobulin A(SIgA)was increased in the HSm group compared with the HS group(Pme of cecal mucosa showed that mOLP reduced gene expression relative to several immune factors,including IL-10,IFNG,and RLA,whereas both HS and mOLP increased the gene expression of fat digestion and absorption pathway,including APOA1,FABP1,FABP2,mTTP,andLOC100344166,compared to the CON group(Pm level,the relative abundance of Proteobacteria was increased by HS,while Actinobacteria was significantly increased by HSm compared to other groups(Pm groups compared to CON and HS groups(P<0.05).Higher butyrate conce

The extent of the peril associated with cancer can be perceivedfrom the lack of treatment, ineffective early diagnosis techniques, and mostimportantly its fatality rate. Globally, cancer is the second leading cause ofdeath and among over a hundred types of cancer;lung cancer is the secondmost common type of cancer as well as the leading cause of cancer-relateddeaths. Anyhow, an accurate lung cancer diagnosis in a timely manner canelevate the likelihood of survival by a noticeable margin and medical imagingis a prevalent manner of cancer diagnosis since it is easily accessible to peoplearound the globe. Nonetheless, this is not eminently efficacious consideringhuman inspection of medical images can yield a high false positive rate. Ineffectiveand inefficient diagnosis is a crucial reason for such a high mortalityrate for this malady. However, the conspicuous advancements in deep learningand artificial intelligence have stimulated the development of exceedinglyprecise diagnosis systems. The development and performance of these systemsrely prominently on the data that is used to train these systems. A standardproblem witnessed in publicly available medical image datasets is the severeimbalance of data between different classes. This grave imbalance of data canmake a deep learning model biased towards the dominant class and unableto generalize. This study aims to present an end-to-end convolutional neuralnetwork that can accurately differentiate lung nodules from non-nodules andreduce the false positive rate to a bare minimum. To tackle the problem ofdata imbalance, we oversampled the data by transforming available images inthe minority class. The average false positive rate in the proposed method isa mere 1.5 percent. However, the average false negative rate is 31.76 *** proposed neural network has 68.66 percent sensitivity and 98.42 percentspecificity.

Hepatitis C virus(HCV)-cirrhotic patients have the highest threat of developing hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and may be at risk of extra hepatic *** present study was designed to investigate CD133 and CK19 in HCV(genotype-4)-cirrhotic patients with/without HCC or extra hepatic cancer,to assess the degree of their correlation with cell cycle abnormalities and finally to assess the role of their combination as diagnostic tool for discrimination of cirrhotic patients with HCC from those with extra hepatic *** study included 77 HCV-cirrhotic patients and 20 healthy non-disease control *** were categorized histo-pathologically into:24 have only liver cirrhosis,26 with HCC,and 27 patients with extra hepatic *** cycle abnormalities,CD133 and CK19 were determined by flow cytometry ***133 and CK19 showed marked elevation in HCC and extra hepatic cancer compared with liver cirrhosis and control subjects(pm liver cirrhosis to *** of the three showed the best AUC(0.978)and accuracy(92.5%)for discrimination of HCC from extra hepatic *** CD133 with G2/m and CK19 comprises an excellent diagnostic panel for discrimination of HCV-cirrhotic patients with HCC from those with extra hepatic cancer.

AIm To assess nutritional recovery,particularly regarding feeding jejunostomy tube(FJT)utilization,following upper gastrointestinal resection for malignancy. mETHODS A retrospective review was performed of a prospectively-maintained database of adult patients who underwent esophagectomy or gastrectomy(subtotal or total)for cancer with curative intent,from January 2001 to June 2014. Patient demographics,the approach to esophagectomy,the extent of gastrectomy,FJT placement and utilization at discharge,administration of parenteral nutrition(PN),and complications were evaluated. All patients were followed for at least ninety days or until *** The 287 patients underwent upper GI resection,comprised of 182 esophagectomy(n=107 transhiatal,58.7%; n=56 Ivor-Lewis,30.7%)and 105 gastrectomy [n=63 subtotal(SG),60.0%; n=42 total(TG),40.0%]. 181 of 182 esophagectomy patients underwent FJT,compared with 47 of 105 gastrectomy patients(99.5% vs 44.8%,P m most had undergone TG(n=39,92.9% vs n=8 SG,12.9%,P median length of stay was similar between esophagectomy and gastrectomy groups(14.7 d vs 17.1 d,P=0.076). Upon discharge,87 esophagectomy patients(48.1%)were taking enteral feeds,with 53(29.3%)fully and 34(18.8%)partially dependent. meanwhile,20 of 39 TG patients(51.3%)were either fully(n=3,7.7%)or partially(n=17,43.6%)dependent on tube feeds,compared with 5 of 8 SG patients(10.6%),all of whom were partially dependent. Gastrectomy patients were significantly less likely to be fully dependent on tube feeds at discharge compared to esophagectomy patients(6.4% vs 29.3%,P=0.0006). PN was administered despite FJT placement more often following gastrectomy than esophagectomy(n=11,23.4% vs n=7,3.9%,P=0.0001). FJT-specific complications requiring reoperation within 30 d of resection occurred more commonly in the gastrectomy group(n=6),all after TG,compared to 1 esophagectomy patient(12.8% vs 0.6%,P=0.0003). This study examines the large amount of agricultural waste produced in Egypt between 2010 and 2019 by analysing data from various departments within the Agriculture *** also provides a comprehensive database on the biomass available from agricultural waste in Egypt and its potential applications for producing power,heat and chemical *** biomass-pyrolysis systems powered by solar energy are used,research demonstrates the potential to convert agricultural waste into a variety of chemical *** approach utilizes solar energy,a clean and renewable source,and has wide-ranging industrial and power generation *** Egypt’s reliance on agriculture,the country currently utilizes little biomass for energy production and has not previously used it as a source for creating chemical products,which could potentially save on the imported oil used in these *** findings of the study are graphically presented using histograms,pie charts,*** overall production of residues reached the 30-mt level in *** it contains the most rice-cultivated land,Dakahlia(Lower Egypt region)produces the highest percentage of the total residue(37.17%).Qena governorate(Upper Egypt region)produces 1.14 metric tons of residues,with sugarcane accounting for 20.3%of the total.
