Drug resistance is a major obstacle in the development of effective colorectal cancer(CRC)*** study aimed to explore the reversal abilities of Jiedu Sangen decoction(JSD)on the 5-fluorouracil(5-FU)resistance and its underlying molecular *** changes in HIF-1 of CRC tissues were firstly revealed by bioinformatics ***,cell viabilities of JSD and 5-FU treatments on 5-FU resistant human colon cancer cells(HCT-8/5-FU)were *** of phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K),protein kinase B(AKT)/p-AKT,hypoxia-inducible factor 1(HIF-1α),as well as glycolysis related proteins such as L-lactate dehydrogenase A(LDHA),Glucose transporter type 1(Glut1),Hexokinase 2(HKII),and cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase(Caspase)family members in HCT-8/5-FU cells,HIF-1αsilenced HCT-8/5-FU cells and tumor tissues were detected by western ***-1αwas found over expressed in CRC tissues according to public available datasets in *** inhibition rates of HCT-8/5-FU cells were increased along with the increase of JSD *** caused down-regulated HIF-1α,PI3K,AKT/p-AKT,HKII and Glut1,as well as up-regulated Caspase3 and Caspase9 in HCT-8/5-FU cells and tumor *** HIF-1αsilenced HCT-8/5-FU cells,synergistic group showed significantly reduced expression levels of PI3K,AKT,***,up-regulated expressions of Caspase6 and Caspase7 were *** combined with 5-FU also exhibited obvious inhibitory efficiency on tumor growth in *** may reverse 5-FU resistance by suppressing glycolysis via PI3K/AKT/HIF-1αsignaling pathway,thereby inhibiting glycolysis and induce apoptosis to enhance anti-tumor activity.

One of the urgent and challenging topics in diversified sustainable energy conversion is the development of high-performance,low-cost,and well durable *** single-atom catalysts(SACs)have become promising catalysts for diversified sustainable energy conversion due to their capability to maximize the utilization efficiency,acquire modulated electronic structure and optimized binding strength with *** this review,we have provided an interview of the recent progress achieved in the field of electrocatalysis,photocatalysis,and heterogeneous reaction based on Cu *** by this review,we have summarized some advanced synthetic strategies for the construction of Cu ***,the performance-improving strategies are discussed in terms of the coordination environments of the reaction center,reaction mechanism and selectivity,based on free energy diagram and electron structure ***,the remaining issues,challenges,and opportunities of Cu SACs are also provided,affording a perspective for future *** review not only offers us a deep understanding on the catalytic mechanism of Cu SACs for energy conversion,but also encourages more endeavors in prompting their practical application.

Reducing CO_(2)emissions of the iron and steel industry,a typical heavy CO_(2)-emitting sector is the only way that must be passed to achieve the‘dual-carbon’goal,especially in *** previous studies,however,it is still unknown what is the difference between blast furnace basic oxygen furnace(BF-BOF),scrap-electric furnace(scrap-EF)and hydrogen metallurgy *** quantitative research on the key factors affecting CO_(2)emissions is insufficient There is also a lack of research on the prediction of CO_(2)emissions by adjusting industria *** on material flow analysis,this study establishes carbon flow diagrams o three processes,and then analyze the key factors affecting CO_(2)***_(2)emissions of the iron and steel industry in the future is predicted by adjusting industrial structure The results show that:(1)The CO_(2)emissions of BF-BOF,scrap-EF and hydrogen metallurgy process in a site are 1417.26,542.93 and 1166.52 kg,respectively.(2)By increasing pellet ratio in blast furnace,scrap ratio in electric furnace,etc.,can effectively reduce CO_(2)emissions(3)Reducing the crude steel output is the most effective CO_(2)reduction *** is still 5.15×10^(8)-6.17×10^(8) tons of CO_(2)that needs to be reduced by additional measures.

A series of emission reduction measures were conducted in Wuhan,Central China,to ensure good air quality during the 7th Military World Games(MWG)in October *** better understand the implications for ozone(O_(3))pollution control strategies,we applied integrated analysis approaches based on the de-weathered statistical model,parameterization methods,chemical box model,and positive matrix factorization *** the MWG,concentrations of O_(3),NO_x,and volatile organic compound(VOCs),OFP(O_(3)formation potential),L_(OH)(OH radical loss rate)were 83μg/m^(3),43μg/m^(3),26 ppbv,188μg/m^(3),and 3.9 s^(-1),respectively,which were 26%,18%,3%,15%,and 13%lower than pre-MWG values and 6%,39%,30%,33%,and 50%lower than post-MWG values,*** removing meteorological influence,O_(3)and its precursors during the MWG decreased largely compared with post-MWG values,and only O_(3),NO_(2),and oxygenated VOCs(OVOCs)declined compared with pre-MWG values,which revealed the emission reduction measures during the MWG played an important role for O_(3)*** six VOCs sources,the mass contributions of biomass burning and solvents usage during the MWG decreased largely compared with pre-MWG values.O_(3)production was sensitive to VOCs and the key species were aromatics,OVOCs,and alkenes,which originated mainly from solvents usage,biomass burning,industrial-related combustion,and vehicle *** O_(3)concentration during the strict control was mainly caused by OVOCs reduction due to biomass burning ***,the O_(3)abatement strategies of Wuhan should be focused on the mitigation of high-reactivity VOCs.
