The study of nuclide production and its properties in the N=126 neutron-rich region is prevalent in nuclear physics and astrophysics *** upcoming High-energy FRagment Separator(HFRS)at the High-Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility(HIAF),an in-flight separator at relativistic energies,is characterized by high beam intensity,large ion-optical acceptance,high magnetic rigidity,and high momentum resolution *** provides an opportunity to study the production and properties of neutron-rich nuclei around N=*** this paper,an experimental scheme is proposed to produce neutron-rich nuclei around N=126 and simultaneously measure their mass and lifetime based on the HFRS separator;the feasibility of this scheme is evaluated through *** results show that under the high-resolution optical mode,many new neutron-rich nuclei approaching the r-process abundance peak around A=195 can be produced for the first time,and many nuclei with unknown masses and lifetimes can be produced with high *** the time-of-flight corrected by the measured dispersive position and energy loss information,the cocktails produced from 208 Pb fragmentation can be unambiguously ***,the masses of some neutron-rich nuclei near N=126 can be measured with high precision using the time-of-flight magnetic rigidity *** indicates that the HIAF-HFRS facility has the potential for the production and property research of neutron-rich nuclei around N=126,which is of great significance for expanding the chart of nuclides,developing nuclear theories,and understanding the origin of heavy elements in the universe.

For several decades,the promise of implementing of lithium(Li)metal anodes has been regarded as the"holy grail"for Li-based ***,we have proposed a facile design of a carbon fiber cloth(CFC)framework coated with SnO_(2)nanoparticles through a hydrothermal process,which served as a reliable host for prestoring molten Li to produce a CFC@SnO_(2)@Li composite ***,TEM,HRTEM,XPS and different electrochemical characterizations were carried *** to the synergetic effects of the 3D conductive CFC and the coated lithiophilic SnO_(2)nanoparticles,the designed CFC@SnO_(2)@Li electrodes can buffer the volume changes and reduce the local current density,thus suppress the Li dendrites during ***,the CFC@SnO_(2)electrodes showed a high and stable CE of 98.6%for 1000 cycles at a current density of 1 mA cm^(-2)(1 mAh cm^(-2)).What is more,at a high current density of 5 mA cm^(-2)and a high areal capacity of 5 mAh cm^(-2),the symmetric cell displayed relatively low overpotential and long cycling lifetime of 1600 *** results confirm its great potential as lithium metal anodes in practical battery applications.

Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)plays an important role in precision medicine that is hampered by the lack of contrast agents with high efficiency and the ability to translate diagnostic accuracy into therapeutic ***,we demonstrate a DNA-based MRI probe that overcomes previous single-mode enhancement and provides a mechanism of action for aggregationinduced dual-modal MRI signal enhancement.A facile method is developed to produce aggregated T_(1)/T_(2)dual-modal NaGdF_(4):Dy@Pda-DNA(Pda=polydopamine)MRI *** aggregated,this probe can further amplify MRI signal intensity and exhibit improved geometrical and positional stability in *** performance of the NaGdF_(4):Dy@Pda-DNA MRI probe toward MRI-guided preoperative planning and visualization-guided surgery is verified using an orthotopic tumor-bearing mouse *** result shows that the rapid metabolism of the degraded probe leads to the mitigation of long-term toxic ***,the developed high-performance MRI probe is of great significance for enhancing MRI diagnostic accuracy into precision medical therapeutic interventions.

Popularization of lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs) is still hindered by shuttle effect and volume ***, a new modularized sulfur storage strategy is proposed to solve above problems and accomplished via employing 100% space utilization host material of cobalt loaded carbon nanoparticles derived from ZIF-67. The modular dispersed storage of sulfur not only greatly increases the proportion of active sulfur,but also inhibits the occurrence of volume expansion. Meanwhile, 100% space utilization host material can greatly improve the conductivity of the cathode, provide a larger electrolyte wetting interface and effectively suppress the shuttle effect. Moreover, loaded cobalt particles have high catalytic activity for electrochemical reaction and can effectively improve the redox kinetics. The cell with new cathode host material carbonized at 650 ℃(ZIF-67(650 ℃)) exhibits superior rate performance and can maintain a high specific capacity of 950 m Ah/g after 100 cycles at 0.2 C, showing a good cycle stability.

Relationship between environmental evolution and human activities in the northeastern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau throughout the past millennium and its implications for the onset of the Anthropocene

In current research on the Anthropocene, assessing the impact of human activities via stratigraphic records of sediments and demarcating the Anthropocene epoch globally are critical scientific issues that urgently need to be addressed. The northeastern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau(QXP), where humans first settled permanently in large numbers in the QXP, has varying sedimentary environments that are extremely sensitive to human activities. In contrast to other regions of the QXP, the northeastern sector boasts a richer array of climatic and environmental reconstruction sequences. This distinctive feature renders it an exemplary locale for investigating the stratigraphic boundary of the Anthropocene. Through in-depth analysis and integration of existing paleoclimate and paleoenvironment sequences in the northeastern QXP, we draw the following conclusions:(1) Throughout the past millennium, the impact of human activities on the environment of the northeastern QXP has become increasingly significant, especially in the past 200–300 years, gradually overshadowing climatic factors.(2) Since AD 1950,multiple physicochemical indicators related to human activities in the northeastern QXP have shown exponential growth,forming a distinct peak within the past millennium and clearly depicting the global “Great Acceleration” phenomenon and its development process.(3) Intensified human activities have driven swift environmental shifts and “decoupled” the interplay between climatic variations and the ecological environment, propelling the northeastern QXP into the “Early Anthropocene”from the “Late Holocene”. On the basis of the above findings, we construct a model suitable for identifying the stratigraphic boundary of the Anthropocene in the northeastern QXP and note that since the ecological environment in the northeastern QXP has entered the “Early Anthropocene”, the climate signals of certain physicochemical indicators in sediments are gradually becoming weaker, whereas the signals of

Stable Cycling of All-Solid-State Lithium Metal Batteries Enabled by Salt Engineering of PEO-Based Polymer Electrolytes

Poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)-based polymer electrolytes show the prospect in all-solid-state lithium metal batteries;however,they present limitations of low room-temperature ionic conductivity,and interfacial incompatibility with high voltage ***,a salt engineering of 1,1,2,2,3,3-hexafluoropropane-1,3-disulfonimide lithium salt(LiHFDF)/LiTFSI system was developed in PEO-based electrolyte,demonstrating to effectively regulate Li ion transport and improve the interfacial stability under high *** show,by manipulating the interaction between PEO matrix and TFSI^(-)-HFDF^(-),the optimized solid-state polymer electrolyte achieves maximum Li+conduction of 1.24×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)at 40℃,which is almost 3 times of the ***,the optimized polymer electrolyte demonstrates outstanding stable cycling in the LiFePO_(4)/Li and LiNi_(0.8)Mn_(0.1)Co_(0.1)O_(2)/Li(3.0-4.4 V,200 cycles)based all-solid-state lithium batteries at 40℃.

Design and construction of size-controlled CoO/CS catalysts for Fischer–Tropsch synthesis

The use of supported Co-based catalysts is widespread in various catalytic reactions due to their unique *** structural sensitivity of these catalysts is closely linked to their particle size and crystal ***,comprehending the structure–activity relationship requires the development of well-defined Co-based ***,we employed a colloidal wet chemical process and a heterogeneous nucleation method to prepare well-defined Co-based catalysts supported by inert carbon *** nanospheres’surface possesses abundant functional groups that efficiently capture metal complexes and facilitate the nucleation and growth of CoO *** adjusting the Co source concentration,solvent molar ratio,and nucleation growth kinetics,we successfully prepared CoO/carbon sphere(CS)catalysts with different particle sizes and crystal *** influence of metallic face-centered cubic(fcc)-Co^(0) particle size in the range of 6.6–17.6 nm on the performance of Fischer–Tropsch synthesis(FTS)using well-defined CoO/CS catalysts has been *** result demonstrated that the turnover frequency(TOF)remained constant for CoO/CS catalysts with metallic fcc-Co^(0) particle size larger than 7.7 ***,both the selectivity and the activity changed for CoO/CS catalysts with smaller particles(<7.7 nm).Significantly,when metallic fcc-Co^(0) particle size was reduced from 17.6 to 7.7 nm,the cobalt time yield increased to 6.7μmolCO·gCo^(-1)·s^(-1),indicating improved catalytic *** the same time,the CH_(4) selectivity decreased to 4.9%,suggesting a higher preference for hydrocarbon *** findings demonstrate the importance of particle size in Co catalyzed Fischer–Tropsch *** use of well-defined CoO/CS catalysts offers valuable insights into the structure–activity relationship,leading to a better understanding of Co catalyzed Fischer–Tropsch synthesis.

One-dimensional carbon nanotube(CNT)exhibits excellent mechanical properties and is considered to be an ideal candidate material for the space ***,subtle changes in its chirality strongly affect its physical and chemical properties,including mechanical properties(such as Young's modulus,YM).Theoretical studies reveal that the YMs of perfect single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)are in the order of TPa and related to their ***,due to the lack of SWCNTs samples with well-defined structures and the difficulties in mechanical tests on individual SWCNTs,the theoretical correlations between YM and structure of SWCNTs have not been verified and are still in debate,which directly influences the practical utilization of the excellent mechanical properties of *** this work,we have developed an experimental method to measure the YM of an individual micrometer-scale suspended CNT by atomic force microscopy.A distinct regularity is found between the YM and chirality(i.e.,chiral angle and diameter)of SWCNT in the experiment for the first *** comparing the YMs of SWCNTs with similar diameters and different chiral angles,it manifests that the SWCNT with a near zigzag configuration has a larger *** finding suggests that the effect of SWCNT’s structures on the YMs cannot be *** developed method of measuring YMs of SWCNTs will be valuable for further experimental research on the inherent physical and chemical properties of SWCNTs.

Numerous studies have shown that cell replacement therapy can replenish lost cells and rebuild neural circuitry in animal models of Parkinson’s *** of midbrain dopaminergic progenitor cells is a promising treatment for Parkinson’s ***,transplanted cells can be injured by mechanical damage during handling and by changes in the transplantation ***,we developed a one-step biomanufacturing platform that uses small-aperture gelatin microcarriers to produce beads carrying midbrain dopaminergic progenitor *** beads allow midbrain dopaminergic progenitor cell differentiation and cryopreservation without digestion,effectively maintaining axonal integrity in ***,midbrain dopaminergic progenitor cell bead grafts showed increased survival and only mild immunoreactivity in vivo compared with suspended midbrain dopaminergic progenitor cell ***,our findings show that these midbrain dopaminergic progenitor cell beads enhance the effectiveness of neuronal cell transplantation.
