The carotenoid characteristics of the important wild shrimp Trachysalambria curvirostris(Stimpson,1860) in China

Trachysalambria curvirostris is an economically important shrimp in the coastal waters of the Western Indo-Pacific. However, there is no information about its carotenoid composition and distribution. The carotenoid profiles including concentration, composition, molecular forms (free or esterified) and configuration (geometrical and optical isomers) of raw and dried T. curvirostris (Stimpson, 1860) were qualitatively and quantitatively assessed. In the raw shrimp, astaxanthin and β-carotene were the two dominant carotenoids, which contributed 75.18%–88.86% and 2.86%–16.83% of the total carotenoid content. Traces of echinenone, canthaxanthin and astacene were also detected. The carotenoid content in the waste (80.28 mg/kg dry weight) was nearly two-fold higher than that in the meat (49.69 mg/kg dry weight). Of the total astaxanthin in these shrimp, 85.18%–90.59% was esterified. All- trans astaxanthin was the predominant geometrical isomer followed by 13- cis , 9- cis , di- cis and 15- cis isomers. A mix of three stereoisomers was found in all parts and the percentages of meso (3 S , 3’ R ) and (3 S , 3’ S ) forms were significantly higher than the (3 R , 3’ R ) isomer. Compared to the carotenoid content of the raw shrimp, only 26.17 mg/kg remained in the dried shrimp. Nearly half of the carotenoids were lost during the drying process. substantial hydrolysis and isomerization also occurred.

We study the coherence transfer between two pigments (donor and acceptor) of a dimer interacting with two independent environments. By means of a prior weak measurement on the donor and a post measurement, which is either a reversal measurement or a weak measurement, on the acceptor, we present a scheme to optimally control the transfer of the donor's coherence to the acceptor. We construct explicit relationships for the two measurement strengths and the evolution time, by which the coherence degree of the acceptor can approach the maximum value 0.5 at the cost of a decreased probability.

Achieving sustainable livelihood is the ultimate goal of poverty alleviation efforts in mountainous areas,and selecting an optimal livelihood strategy for different poverty-type farmers greatly improves farmers’livelihood capital,resists livelihood risks,and promotes sustainable *** farmers,optimal livelihood strategy means better employment opportunities,higher family income(or better income structure),and stronger employability or development *** paper classifies different types of farmers’poverty on the basis of a quantitative evaluation of farmers’livelihood capital in the Qin-ba Mountain Area in South-Shaanxi by using the k-means clustering method and subsequently the fuzzy evaluation method to evaluate the effectiveness of farmers’livelihood ***,the multi-attribute decision-making model is used to analyze the selection of optimal livelihood strategies for different poverty-type *** results suggest a significant difference in the selection of the optimal livelihood strategy for different poverty-type *** without financial and human capital choose to"go out to work,"farmers lacking natural capital choose to"acquire social insurance and government relief,"farmers without physical capital choose to"use loans,"and farmers lacking social capital choose to"use savings."Studying the selection of optimal livelihood strategies for different poverty-type farmers can help to propose targeted sustainable livelihood optimization programs for farmers and accelerate efforts to overcome poverty in mountainous areas.

In this paper, we provide a theoretical method（PUFEM）, which belongs to the analysis of the partition of unity finite element family of meshfree methods. The usual error analysis only shows the order of error estimate to the same as the local approximations[12]. Using standard linear finite element base functions as partition of unity and polynomials as local approximation space, in l-d case, we derive optimal order error estimates for PUFEM interpolants. Our analysis show that the error estimate is of one order higher than the local approximations. The interpolation error estimates yield optimal error estimates for PUFEM solutions of elliptic boundary value problems.

A mesoporous sorption complex catalyst was prepared by pore-forming modification and evaluated by the COz reactive sorption enhanced reforming （ReSER） process, which is used to produce hydrogen from methane. Three samples of polyethylene glycol （PEG） with molecular weights between 2000 and 20 000 were added as templates into a mixed slurry to create catalysts with different pore properties by further formation and calcination. The pore characteristics determined by Brunauer- Emmett-Teller （BET） analysis showed that one of the mesoporous catalysts, named M-NiAICa-6000, had a pore size of 9.2 nm and a surface area of 70.52 m2/g and the CO2 sorption capacity of this catalyst was 44% higher than that of the catalyst without the PEG 6000 modification. The catalyst was evaluated in the ReSER process in a fixed-bed reactor system at 0.1 MPa and 600 C with an H20/CH4 molar ratio of 4. An H2 concentration of 94.2% and a CH4 conversion of 86.0% were obtained at a carbon space velocity of 1700 h 1 while CO2 was hardly detected.

We discuss the properties of solutions for the following elliptic partial differential equations system in Rn,where 0 〈α〈 n, pi and qi （i = 1, 2） satisfy some suitable assumptions. Due to equivalence between the PDEs system and a given integral system, we prove the radial symmetry and regularity of positive solutions to the PDEs system via the method of moving plane in integral forms and Regularity Lifting Lemma. For the special case, when p1 ＋ p2= q1 ＋ q2 = n＋α/n-α, we classify the solutions of the PDEs system.
