Correlation Analysis between Characteristics under Gastroscope and Image Information of Tongue in Patients with Chronic Gastritis

OBJECTIVE: To explore the correlation between diagnostic information of tongue and gastroscopy results of patients with chronic gastritis. METHODS: Frequent pattern growth （FP-Growth）， SPSS Modeler was used to analyze the correlation rules between the image information of tongue parameters and the characteristics of the stomach and duodenum seen under gastroscopy. RESULTS: Ranking in order of confidence: cyanotic tongue， slippery fur， yellow fur and spotted tongue were sequently associated with both gastric antrum mucosal hyperemia or edema and gastric antrum mucosal erythema/macula. L， one value of tongue coating color， which counted among （30，60）， tooth-marked tongue and b， one value of tongue coating color， which counted in the range of （5，20） were sequently associated with gastric antrum mucosal erythema /macula. A， one value of tongue body color， which counted in the range of （0， 20）， was related to both gastric antrum mucosal hyperemia or edema and gastric antrum mucosal erythema /macula. a， one value of tongue coating color， which counted in the range of （15，35）， was associated with gastric antrum mucosal erythema / macula. There are a total of 9 strong correlation ***:Cyanotic tongue， slippery fur， yellow fur， the CIE Lab value of tongue coating， a， the value of tongue body color， spotted tongue， and tooth-marked tongue are all related to the gastric antrum mucosal hyperemia or edema and gastric antrum mucosal erythema /macula. The conditions of gastric mucosa could be predicted by the examination of the above related image information of tongue.

Photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline by copper(I)oxide loaded on Daylily Stalk derived carbon material

In this work,Daylily Stalks derived N doped carbon material(N-DSC)with a high specific surface area was firstly prepared by a chemical activation method,and then cubic Cu_(2)O nanoparticles were combined with the prepared N-DSC to obtain N-DSC/Cu_(2)O composite as the catalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline(TC)antibiotics under visible *** is found that the obtained composite had higher photocatalytic activity than pure Cu_(2)***,25 wt%N-DSC/Cu_(2)O composite showed the highest photocatalytic performance with 95%of TC degradation within 100 min and more excellent *** with various characterizations,it is confirmed that carbon bonds should be conducive to the separation of photoelectron and hole,and the carbon layer with an excellent electrical conductivity on Cu_(2)O can reduce the charge transfer resistance between N-DSC and Cu_(2)O,thereby improving the absorption of visible light and enhancing the photocatalytic ***,it is considered that the synergistic effect of photo-generated electron pair in Cu_(2)O and N-DSC could promote the photodegradation efficiency of N-DSC/Cu_(2)O *** addition,the active species capture experiment confirmed that·OH and·O_(2)􀀀should be the main active species for TC degradation under visible *** study is expected to provide a novel low-cost photocatalysts for pollutants removal.

Therapies for children with cerebral palsy A Web of Science-based literature analysis

OBJECTIVE： To identify global research trends in three therapies for children with cerebral palsy. DATA RETRIEVAL： We performed a bibliometric analysis of studies on therapies for children with cerebral palsy from 2002 to 2011 retrieved from Web of Science. SELECTION CRITERIA： Inclusion criteria：（a） peer-reviewed published articles on botulinum toxin, constraint-induced movement therapy, or acupuncture for children with cerebral palsy indexed in Web of Science; （b） original research articles, reviews, meeting abstracts, proceedings papers, book chapters, editorial material, and news items; and （c） publication between 2002 and 2011. Exclusion criteria：（a） articles that required manual searching or telephone access; （b） documents that were not published in the public domain; and （c） a number of corrected papers from the total number of articles. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES：（1） Number of publications on the three therapies; （2） annual publication output, distribution by journals, distribution by institution, and top-cited articles on botulinum toxin; （3） annual publication output, distribution by journal, distribution by institution, and top-cited articles on constraint-induced movement therapy; （4） annual publication, distribution by journal, distribution by institution, and top-cited articles on acupuncture. RESULTS： This analysis, based on Web of Science articles, identified several research trends in studies published over the past 10 years of three therapies for children with cerebral palsy. More articles on botulinum toxin for treating children with cerebral palsy were published than the articles regarding constraint-induced movement therapy or acupuncture. The numbers of publications increased over the 10-year study period. Tiaobu Xinshen Recipe (调补心肾方) Improved Mild Cognitive Impairment of Alzheimer’s Disease Patients with Xin (Heart) and Shen (Kidney) Deficiency

Objective: To observe the intervention effects of Tiaobu Xinshen Recipe(调补心肾方, TXR) on patients with mild cognitive impairment caused by Alzheimer’s disease(MCI-AD). Methods: Totally 88 MCI-AD patients with syndrome of Xin(Heart) and Shen(Kidney) deficiency were assigned to the experimental group(47 cases, treated with TXR) and the control group(41 cases, treated with donepezil hydrochloride) using a random number table. Final recruited qualified patients were 44 cases in the experimental group and 39 cases in the control group. The therapeutic course was 12 weeks. Neuropsychological scales [mini mental state examination(MMSE) and Montreal cognitive assessment(MoCA)], and Chinese medicine(CM) dementia syndromes scales were performed in all patients, and results were compared between groups or intra-group before and after treatment. Results: MMSE and Mo CA scores of the two groups were increased after treatment compared with those before treatment(P0.05). CM dementia syndrome score was significantly decreased after treatment in the experimental group compared with the control group(P<0.01). Visual spatial and executive function scores and delayed recall scores of the two groups were increased compared with those before treatment(P<0.01). Conclusion: TXR could effectively improve cognitive impairment of MCI-AD patients with syndrome of Xin and Shen deficiency.

A Facile Synthesis of Cerium Phosphate Nanofiber by Solution-solid Method

A solution-solid method is developed to construct cerium phosphate （CePO4） nanofibers. Tetraphosphoric acid formed the condensed linear polyphosphate （PnO3n＋1）^（n＋2）- before reacting with cerium carbonate （Ce2（CO3）3） powder, which was favourable for one dimensional CePO4 nanofibers forming. The growth mechanism was proposed based on solution-solid process. CePOa nanofibers display strong UV luminescence emission and weak blue emission.

Identification of blast-resistance loci through genome-wide association analysis in foxtail millet(Setaria italica (L.)Beauv.)

Blast disease caused by the fungus Magnaporthe grisea results in significant yield losses of cereal crops across the *** date,very few regulatory genes contributing to blast resistance in grass species have been identified and the genetic basis of blast resistance in cereals remains ***,a core collection of foxtail millet(Setaria italica)containing 888 accessions was evaluated through inoculation with the blast strain HN-1 and a genome-wide association study(GWAS)was performed to detect regulators responsible for blast disease resistance in foxtail *** phenotypic variation of foxtail millet accessions inoculated with the blast strain HN-1 indicated that less than 1.60% of the samples were highly resistant,35.25% were moderately resistant,57.09% were moderately susceptible,and 6.08% were highly *** geographical pattern of blast-resistant samples revealed that a high proportion of resistant accessions were located in lower latitude regions where the foxtail millet growing season has higher rain *** 720000 SNP markers covering the Setaria genome,GWAS showed that two genomic loci from chromosomes 2 and 9 were significantly associated with blast disease resistance in foxtail ***,eight putative genes were identified using rice blast-related transcriptomic *** results of this work lay a foundation for the foxtail millet blast resistance biology and provide guidance for breeding practices in this promising crop species and other cereals.

The aim of the present study is to evaluate the ability and mechanism by which grape seed procyanidin extract （GSPE） relieves arsenic trioxide （As2O3）-induced renal inflammatory injury. Therefore, male Kunming mice were treated with As2O3 and/or GSPE by gavage for 5 weeks. Mice were then sacrificed and inflammatory cytokines of kidneys were examined by ELISA, whereas the expression levels of molecules involved in the nuclear factor （NF）-KB signaling pathway were evaluated by both qRT-PCR and Western blot. Our results indicate that GSPE prevents As2O3-mediated renal inflammatory injury by inhibiting activation of the NF-KB signaling pathway and inflammatory cytokine production, while promoting expression of anti-inflammatory cytokines.
