Paleoenvironmental reconstruction and organic matter accumulation of the paleogene shahejie oil shale in the Zhanhua Sag, Bohai Bay Basin, Eastern China

The controlling factors of organic-rich shale accumulation is essential for the exploration and development of shale oil and gas *** sedimentary environment plays a vital role in the formation of organic-rich sediments in lacustrine *** article unravels the mineralogy,geochemistry,and paleoenvironmental evolution during the deposition of the Paleogene Shahejie Formation(Es3L).It discusses the effects of paleoclimate,paleosalinity,paleoredox conditions,paleowater depth,and paleoproductivity on organic matter(OM)***,the OM enrichment model was *** results show that the mineralogical compositions are mainly composed of calcite(avg.40.13%),quartz(avg.21.64%)and clay minerals(avg.24.07%),accompanied by dolomite(avg.7.07%),feldspar(avg.6.36%)and pyrite(avg.2.95%).The Es3Lshale has a high abundance of OM,with total organic carbon(TOC)ranging from 1.07%to 5.12%.The organic matter type is mainly composed of type I-II1kerogen,which is generally considered a good-quality source *** source of OM is a mixture of lower bacteria,algae,and *** the early sedimentary period,the paleoclimate was dry and cold,with high salinity,intense reducibility,and relatively low *** the late sedimentary period,the climate became warmer and more *** a result,the salinity decreased to a level that was suitable for biological reproduction,and productivity increased gradually due to the input of terrigenous *** and paleoclimate determined the environment of the sedimentary period,in addition,paleoproductivity and paleoredox condition indicated the formation and preservation conditions of *** warm and humid climate,brackish water,suitable reduction conditions and high productivity are the favorable conditions for the generation and preservation of organic *** research results may have implications for the genetic mechanisms of organic matter *** will provide theoretical and technica

Sex pheromones are considered to play critical roles in partner communication of most parasitic ***,the identification of sex pheromone components remains limited to a few families of parasitoid *** this study,we functionally characterized a candidate sex pheromone component in Microplitis mediator(Hymenoptera:Braconidae),a solitary parasitoid of Noctuidae *** found that the body surface extract from female wasps could significantly stimulate courtship behavior of *** chromatography-electroantennographic detection(GC-EAD)analysis revealed that a candidate semiochemical from extract triggered significant electrophysiological response of antennae of *** performing gas chromatography-mass spectrometer(GC-MS)measurement,GC-EAD active compound was identified as n-octyl acrylate,a candidate sex pheromone component in female *** electroantennogram(EAG)tests,antennae of male wasps showed significantly higher electrophysiological responses to n-octyl acrylate than those of females.Y-tube olfactometer assays indicated that male wasps significantly chose n-octyl acrylate compared with the ***,male wasps showed a remarkable preference for n-octyl acrylate in a simulated field condition behavioral trial;simultaneously,n-octyl acrylate standard could also trigger significant courtship behavior in *** propose that n-octyl acrylate,as a candidate vital sex pheromone component,could be utilized to design behavioral regulators of *** to implement the protection and utilization of natural enemies.

Price Masking Strategy of Cross-Border E-Commerce Platform Financing

E-commerce platform financing is a new service pattern of supply chain ***,this pattern may bring some new issues when considering the problem of cash flow shortage and financing difficulties of small and medium-sized *** enterprises use this service,they worry about the leakage of preferential wholesale price when applying the full loan amount and providing the true transaction *** on the model consisting of a supplier,a retailer and a cross-border e-commerce platform,the authors design a price masking strategy to prevent the retailer’s preferential wholesale price information from *** authors analyze the profit of the retailer and the platform before and after adopting the price masking *** authors find that the price masking strategy always benefits the ***,the optimal profit of the retailer and the platform are both affected by the loan interest ***,there exists a range of loan interest rates that can benefit both the retailer and the platform if the price masking strategy is *** research emphasizes that platform can expand the total business volume by allowing retailers to use price masking *** other words,there will be more and more retailers attracted by the strategy,which benefits the long-term growth of cross-border e-commerce platform financing.

Constructing energetic covalent organic frameworks with high stability and low sensitivity

Developing new functional explosives that display high stability,good energy performance,and low sensitivity are one of the key directions of energetic materials *** this work,two-dimensional(2D)Schiff-based energetic covalent organic frameworks(COFs)are prepared based on triaminoguanidine salts with different anions as building *** from the robust covalent bond in 2D extended polygons and strongπ-πinteractions in the eclipsed interlayers,the synthesized energetic COFs showed higher thermal stability and lower mechanical sensitivity than their precursor *** importantly,incorporating triaminoguanidine salts into COFs effectively increase the corrosion resistance to metal under high humidity conditions,which is due to the imine moieties in COFs functioning asπacceptors and offering strong bonding with metallic *** work provides a new pathway for the development of high-performance energetic materials.

Cooperation and networking are powerful tools in the combating against tropical diseases. Cooperation on a global scale is essential due to the transboundary nature of tropical diseases. Networking plays a pivotal role in facilitating such cooperation. Both cooperation and networking can foster innovation in disease control programmes. Collaborative research can lead to the development of new drugs and vaccines, while shared surveillance data can enable the early detection and control of disease epidemics. Therefore, consensus of cooperation and networking has been reached during the 7th Symposium on Surveillance-Response Systems Leading to Tropical Diseases Elimination, which reflected in the two documents, i.e.,Consensus for Transboundary Tropical Diseases Control, andAction Consensus of the Network of WHO Collaborating Centres Related to NTDs. These documents will improve the efforts in the fighting against tropical diseases through collective actions to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Review of Iron-Based Catalysts for Carbon Dioxide Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis

Capturing and utilizing CO_(2)from the production process is the key to solving the excessive CO_(2)emission problem. CO_(2)hydrogenation with green hydrogen to produce olefins is an effective and promising way to utilize CO_(2)and produce valuable chemicals. The olefins can be produced by CO_(2)hydrogenation through two routes, i.e., CO_(2)-FTS (carbon dioxide Fischer- Tropsch synthesis) and MeOH (methanol-mediated), among which CO_(2)-FTS has significant advantages over MeOH in practical applications due to its relatively high CO_(2)conversion and low energy consumption potentials. However, the CO_(2)-FTS faces challenges of difficult CO_(2)activation and low olefins selectivity. Iron-based catalysts are promising for CO_(2)-FTS due to their dual functionality of catalyzing RWGS and CO-FTS reactions. This review summarizes the recent progress on iron-based catalysts for CO_(2)hydrogenation via the FTS route and analyzes the catalyst optimization from the perspectives of additives, active sites, and reaction mechanisms. Furthermore, we also outline principles and challenges for rational design of high-performance CO_(2)-FTS catalysts.

Research on Bast Fiber Extracted from the White Bark of Three Species in the Genus Broussonetia

Against the backdrop of a global paper resource shortage,there is a growing need to identify fast-growing tree species capable of producing long-lasting *** plant species namely Broussonetia kazinoki,Broussonetia papyrifera and hybrid paper mulberry,belong to the Broussonetia genus,were collected from China to study their white bark suitability for pulp and *** chemical composition revealed that the holocellulose content in Broussonetia kazinoki and Broussonetia papyrifera was more than 80%.The molecular weight distribution of several holocellulose/α-cellulose is observed by GPC,which allows us to better observe the changes of various components on the molecular *** yield,lignin,whiteness,and molecular weight of the pulps obtained by NaOH treatment were *** microscope was used to characterize the fiber length-width ratio and ***,the improvement of the fiber rigidity method based on the Kratky-Porod chain model makes it more theoretical and further reveals the influencing factors of fiber *** study demonstrates the high potentiality of these three species for papermaking applications.
