The main objective of implementing charging stations is to ensure the good charging to theElectric vehicles by using a solar Pv array which is interconnected to the battery energy storagesystems. The charging station regulates the supply voltage and frequency without the use of amechanical speed governor. It also assures that energy gained from grid or by the DG set willhave the unity power factor (UPF) when the load is nonlinear. Besides this, the Point of CommonCoupling (PCC) voltage is synchronised with the grid/generator voltage in order to providecontinuous charging. In order to increase the optimal efficiency of the charging stations, thecharging stations will perform the active/reactive power transfer from the vehicle to grid, vehicleto house and vehicle to vehicle (v2v) power transfer. The operational experiment of the chargingstation is simulated and verified by using MATLAB/sIMULINK.

In total 36 superior clones of Dalbergia sissoo Roxb., screened from 300 selections conducted in natural and growing range of India and Nepal, were multiplied using single nodal cuttings and estab- lished to evaluate genotypexenvironmental interactions for adaptability and stability at the age of 30 months in three geographical locations in the state of Punjab, India. Clone 124 had maximum adaptability and stability （bi = 1.04） to perform exceedingly well over the locations. Clones 36 and 1 were stable with mean regression coefficient of 0.84 and 1.22, respectively. Nonetheless, clone 4 1 performed exceedingly well for all the characters to attain maximum population mean, and the perform- ance varied substantially across the locations. Therefore, clone 41 was considered as productive but non-adaptive clone. Though some of the clones were sensitive to sites, 14 clones for height, 16 for collar diameter, 12 for DBH and 7 for volume were relatively un-sensitive with higher regression coefficient. Nonetheless, clone 124 was the most stable with average bi value of 1.04 and productive, which could play an important role in future breeding and commercial deployment of stable and produc- tive planting stock of Dalbergia sissoo.

The development work for producing an automobile component by thixocasting using A356.2 alloy was *** the first step,the alloy was electromagnetically stirred and solidified to produce a billet with non-dendritic *** microstructure depended on several process parameters such as stirring intensity,stirring frequency,cooling rate,and melt initial *** a series of computational studies and controlled experiments,a set of process parameters were identified to produce the best *** of a billet with non-dendritic microstructure to a semisolid temperature was the next step for thixo-casting of the *** reheating process was characterized for various reheating cycles using a vertical-type reheating *** induction heating cycle was optimized to obtain a near-uniform temperature distribution in radial as well as axial direction of the billet,and the heating was continued until the liquid fraction reached about 50%.These parameters were determined with the help of a computational fluid dynamics(CFD) model of die filling and solidification of the semisolid *** heated billets were subsequently thixo-cast into automobile components using a real-time controlled die casting *** results show that the castings are near net shape,free from porosity,good surface finish and have superior mechanical properties compared to those produced by conventional die casting processes using the same alloy.

The sub-micron（of the order of 150 nm） thick core–shell composite fibers of magnesium ferrite-polyvinylidene fluoride are prepared by *** loading of magnesium ferrite is varied from 1 to 10 wt%.The study results by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscope,and infra-red spectroscopy indicate the formation of core–shell structure and an enhancement in the amount of b-phase compared to a-phase in the polyvinylidene *** particle size of the magnesium ferrite in the fiber is evaluated to be 30 *** low frequency dielectric studies indicate that the addition of the magnesium ferrite increases the polarization resulting in the increase in the dielectric constant but decreases the dielectric *** magnetization measurements indicate an increased value of coercivity compared to bulk due to the nano-size of the magnesium *** microwave absorption at the ferromagnetic resonance increases with the increase in the concentration of magnesium *** resonance field is found to vary with the loading of MFO.

Freeform optics has become the most prominent element of the optics industry. Advanced freeform optical designs supplementary to ultra-precision manufacturing and metrology techniques have upgraded the lifestyle, thinking, and observing power of existing *** related to space explorations, portability, accessibility have also witnessed sensible in today’s time with freeform optics. Present-day design methods and fabrications techniques applicable in the development of freeform optics and the market requirements are focussed and explained with the help of traditional and non-traditional optical applications. Over the years,significant research is performed in the emerging field of freeform optics, but no standards are established yet in terms of tolerances and definitions. We critically review the optical design methods for freeform optics considering the image forming and non-image forming applications. Numerous subtractive manufacturing technologies including figure correction methods and metrology have been developed to fabricate extreme modern freeform optics to satisfy the demands of various applications such as space, astronomy, earth science, defence,biomedical, material processing, surveillance, and many more. We described a variety of advanced technologies in manufacturing and metrology for novel freeform optics. Next, we also covered the manufacturing-oriented design scheme for advanced optics. We conclude this review with an outlook on the future of freeform optics design, manufacturing and metrology.

The mechanical behavior of 2124 Al alloy produced by powder metallurgy was inv.s.igated with compression test at different temperatures and strain rates. The tests were performed in the temperature range of 300℃～500℃ and at strain rates from 0.001 s^-1 to 1.0 s^-1. The compression flow curv.s.exhibited an initial sharp increase with strain, followed by monotonous hardening. The maximum stress decreased with decreasing strain rate and increasing temperature. The hot deformation characteristics of the material were studied using processing maps. The domain of safety and unsafe regime were identified and validated through microstructural examination.

This study comprehensively evaluated different parameters based on tensile strength testing to assess the cracking resistance of asphalt mixtures subjected to aging and moisture *** this purpose,two sources of aggregates were selected to produce hot and warm mix asphalt *** mixtures were subjected to short term and long term aging,three levels of moisture conditioning(freeze thaw cycles),and tested at two temperatures(15℃and 25℃).The load-displacement data was used to determine the fracture work density,fracture energy,toughness index,cracking resistance index,cracking tolerance index,and rate dependent cracking *** was noticed that moisture conditioning increased the variability of the different *** cracking tolerance index and rate dependent cracking index parameter had a much higher coefficient of variation(Co v)with a maximum value close to 50%.Indirect tensile strength,fracture energy,and fracture work density appropriately captured the effect of moisture on cracking resistance of *** cracking resistance index,cracking tolerance index,and rate dependent cracking index increased with an increase in the moisture conditioning *** statistical analysis showed that tensile strength,fracture work density,and fracture energy were significantly influenced by different aging and moisture conditions *** energy showed better association with fatigue life of asphalt mixtures subjected to three freeze-thaw cycles compared to tensile ***,the fatigue life prediction models showed that both indirect tensile strength and fracture energy significantly influence the fatigue life of asphalt mixtures subjected to aging and moisture conditioning.

In contemporary medicine,cardiov.s.ular disease is a major public health *** diseases are one of the leading causes of death *** are classiﬁed as v.s.ular,ischemic,or *** information contained in patients’Electronic Health Records(EHR)enables clin-icians to identify and monitor heart *** failure rates have risen drama-tically in recent years as a result of changes in modern *** diseases are becoming more prevalent in today’s medical *** year,a substantial number of people die as a result of cardiac *** primary cause of these deaths is the improper use of pharmaceuticals without the superv.s.on of a physician and the late detection of *** improve the efﬁciency of the classiﬁcation algo-rithms,we construct a data pre-processing stage using feature ***-ments using unidirectional and bidirectional neural network models found that a Deep Learning Modiﬁed Neural Network(DLMNN)model combined with the Pet Dog-smell sensing(PD-ss)algorithm predicted the highest classiﬁcation performance on the UCI Machine Learning Heart Disease *** DLMNN-based PDss achieved an accuracy of 94.21%,an F-score of 92.38%,a recall of 94.62%,and a precision of 93.86%.These results are competitive and promising for a heart disease *** demonstrated that a DLMNN framework based on deep models may be used to solve the categorization problem for an unbalanced heart disease *** proposed approach can result in exceptionally accurate models that can be utilized to analyze and diagnose clinical real-world data.
