This paper addresses the stability problem for a class of switched nonlinear time varying delay systems modeled by delay differential equations. By transforming the system representation under the arrow form and using a new constructed Lyapunov function,the aggregation techniques,the Borne-Gentina practical stability criterion associated with the properties, new delay-independent stability conditions of the considered systems are established. Compared with the existing results in this area, the obtained result is explicit, simple to use and allows us to avoid the problem of searching a common Lyapunov function. Finally, an example is provided, with numerical simulations,to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Suitable stabilization conditions obtained for continuous chaotic systems are generalized to discrete-time chaotic systems. The proposed approach, leading to these conditions for complete synchronization is based on the use of state feedback and aggregation techniques for stability studies associated with the arrow form matrix for system description. The results are successfully applied for two identical discrete-time hyper chaotic Henon maps with different orders and also for non-identical discrete-time chaotic systems with same order namely the Lozi and the Ushio maps.

The investigation of Sm-Ce doping on structure,conduction,and dielectric response of Bi2Ca2-2xSmxCexCoO6（x=0.000,0.025,0.050,0.075）(BCSCCO) are presented.All the specimens were synthesized by a facile synthesis technique named the co-precipitation route.X-ray diffraction（XRD）reveals that BCSCCO crystallizes into one phase with space group P21/m.The crystallite size,dislocation density,lattice parameters,lattice strain,unit cell volume,and bulk density were determined using XRD data.The structural properties of Bi2Ca2CoO6were examined using calculations based on the density functional theory.Theoretical and experimental values discrepancy is less than 1%.A scanning electron microscope was used for performing a micro structural analysis.The SEM images demonstrate the homogeneous distribution of grains with a range of sizes（0.054-0.090 μm）.The alternating current（ac）conductivity, dielectric permittivity,and tangent loss were also studied as a function of frequency（20 Hz-3 MHz） at different temperatures（100-500℃）.All synthesized samples were examined using nonlinear Debye's function to determine their spreading factor and relaxation time.The specimen with the lowest crystallite size（～23 nm） exhibits a high dielectric permittivity（～3.80×10～6）.The conduction mechanism was examined in the studied samples with the use of Jonscher's power law.The power law indicates that the BCSCCO（x=0.000,0.025） follows correlated barrier hopping,whereas the x=0.050and 0.075 compositions follow non-overlapping polaron tunneling.The studied specimen Bi2Ca1.90Sm0.050Ce0.050CoO6with the highest density（～5.65 g/cm3） displays a high electrical conductivity（-46.1 S/cm）.These findings correspond to those published for ceramics made from calcium cobaltite using solid-state reactions（5.0-26.0 S/cm）.

Indonesia is one of the largest coconut-producing countries in the world.The utilization of coconut shell waste into briquettes will increase the selling value and become a great export opportunity.However,the effect of adhesives on the quality of coconut shell charcoal briquettes made using screw extruder machine has not been widely studied.This study aims to determine the effect of adhesive type on the quality of coconut shell charcoal briquettes.The process of fabricating briquettes in this study included crushing,mixing,blending,pressing,and drying.In the mixing process,3 types of adhesives were used,namely tapioca flour(Briquette_1),cassava flour(Briquette_2),and modified cassava flour(Briquette_3)with a concentration of 5%of the weight of coconut shell charcoal powders.The quality of the resulting briquettes and commercial briquettes will be evaluated by moisture content,ash content,volatile matter,fixed carbon,calorific value,density,compressive,and drop test testing.The results of this research showed that the type of adhesive had a significant effect on the quality of the briquettes produced.Specimen Briquette_1 had better quality than commercial briquettes(Briquette_4)and other briquette specimens.The test results showed that Briquette_1 produced briquettes with better compressive strength and friability than the other specimens,at 6.95 N/mm^(2) and 4.44%,respectively.The moisture content,ash content,fixed carbon,and calorific value of Briquette_1 have met the requirements set by the Indonesian National Standard(SNI)number 01-6235-2000.Meanwhile,the volatile matter content and density of Briquette_1 are by the standards of Japan and the United States America(USA).

Plant-based milks are on the rise due to an increased awareness of their sustainability and health benefits. Currently， dairy milk is the most nutritionally complete beverage， but it suffers from the presence of indigestible lactose and allergenic proteins. Coconut milk has been around for a long time， but its application is limited due to a perceived lack of specific nutrients， high saturated fat levels， and low acceptability. Recent evidence indicates， however， that the saturated fat and other plant-based components found in coconut milk are good for metabolic outcomes and brain health. The conversion of coconut milk to yoghurt will further improve its functionality by boosting its existing nutritional qualities. In this article， the nutritional value of coconut milk， as well as its potential downsides， its application as yoghurt， and suggestions for enhancing its nutritional functionality will be examined.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of trimetazidine on exercise capacity via a six-minute walk test in patients with ischaemic cardiomyopathy and also evaluate the effect of trimetazidine on left ventricular function via echocardiography in the same population. Methods: This prospective observational study, conducted at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Dhaka, Bangladesh, enrolled 200 patients with ischaemic cardiomyopathy and a depressed left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF Results: In this study (n = 200) of ischaemic cardiomyopathy patients, the mean age was 58 years, with 76% of the patients being male. All study subjects received GDMT (Guideline-Directed Medical Therapy) for angina and heart failure. Those who received the modified released form of trimetazidine developed lesions during the 1st and 2nd follow-ups, during which the LVEF, LVIDd, and six-minute walk distance significantly improved (p Conclusion: The findings of the present study demonstrated that the addition of modified-release trimetazidine to GDMT can improve exercise capacity and left ventricular function in patients with ischaemic cardiomyopathy.

BACKGROUND Diabetes is known damage the liver and kidney,leading to hepatic dysfunction and kidney failure.Honey is believed to help in lowering the blood glucose levels of diabetic patients and reducing diabetic complications.However,the effect of stingless bee honey(SBH)administration in relieving liver and kidney damage in diabetes has not been well-studied.AIM To investigate the effect of SBH administration on the kidney and liver of streptozotocin-induced(STZ;55 mg/kg)diabetic Sprague Dawley rats.METHODS The rats were grouped as follows(n=6 per group):non-diabetic(ND),untreated diabetic(UNT),metformin-treated(MET),and SBH+metformin-treated(SBME)groups.After successful diabetic induction,ND and UNT rats were given normal saline,whereas the treatment groups received SBH(2.0 g/kg and/or metformin(250 mg/kg)for 12 d.Serum biochemical parameters and histological changes using hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)and periodic acid–Schiff(PAS)staining were evaluated.RESULTS On H&E and PAS staining,the ND group showed normal architecture and cellularity of Bowman’s capsule and tubules,whereas the UNT and MET groups had an increased glomerular cellularity and thickened basement membrane.The SBH-treated group showed a decrease in hydropic changes and mild cellularity of the glomerulus vs the ND group based on H&E staining,but the two were similar on PAS staining.Likewise,the SBME-treated group had an increase in cellularity of the glomerulus on H&E staining,but it was comparable to the SBH and ND groups on PAS staining.UNT diabetic rats had tubular hydropic tubules,which were smaller than other groups.Reduced fatty vacuole formation and dilated blood sinusoids in liver tissue were seen in the SBH group.Conversely,the UNT group had high glucose levels,which subsequently increased MDA levels,ultimately leading to liver damage.SBH treatment reduced this damage,as evidenced by having the lowest fasting glucose,serum alanine transaminase,aspartate transaminase,and alkaline phosphatase levels compared to other groups,although the leve

BACKGROUND Uncontrolled type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)may lead to microvascular complications(nephropathy,retinopathy,and neuropathy)and cardiovascular diseases.The beta-glucan content in grains has the potential to improve insulin sensitivity,lowering postprandial glucose response and reducing inflammation degrees.A proper combination of grains not only satisfies human body’s need,but also provides essential and reasonable nutritional contents.However,no trial has been conducted to evaluate the roles of multigrain in T2DM.AIM To determine the efficacy of multigrain supplementation among T2DM patients.METHODS From October 2020 to June 2021,a total of 50 adults living with T2DM,who were receiving standard diabetes care at Day Care Clinic,were randomized into either a supplementation group or a control group.The supplementation group received twice daily 30 g multigrain supplement(equivalent to 3.4 g beta-glucan)with standard medication for 12 wk,while the control group was prescribed with standard medication.Parameters such as glycemic control(HbA1c,FPG,and HOMO-IR),cardiometabolic profile(lipid profile,renal function test,and liver function test),oxidative stress status,nutritional status,and quality of life(QoL)were assessed at two time points:Baseline and the end of the treatment period(week 12).RESULTS The primary outcomes were the mean difference of glycated haemoglobin(%),fasting plasma glucose,and serum insulin as intervention effects.Secondary outcomes included the measurement of cardiometabolic profile,antioxidative and oxidative stress status,nutritional status indices,and QoL.Tertiary outcomes involved the determination of safety and tolerability,and supplementation compliance.CONCLUSION The present clinical trial will reveal the effectiveness of multigrain supplementation among T2DM patients for the improvement of diabetes management.
