In Korea, trilobites are among the most intensively studied fossil groups in the past century and provide invaluable information about lower Paleozoic stratigraphy, paleogeography, and tectonics of the Korean Peninsula. Trilobites occur in the lower Paleozoic Joseon supergroup of the Taebaeksan Basin which was part of the sino-Korean Craton in the Paleozoic. The Joseon supergroup is divided into the Taebaek, Yeongwol, and Mungyeong groups. The Taebaek and Yeongwol groups are richly fossiliferous, while the Mungyeong Group is poorly fossiliferous. Contrasting trilobite faunal contents of the Taebaek and Yeongwol groups resulted in two separate biostratigraphic schemes for the Cambrian–Ordovician of the Taebaeksan Basin. A total of 22 biozones or fossiliferous horizons were recognized in the Taebaek Group; 19 zones were established in the Yeongwol Group; and four biozones were known from the Mungyeong Group. These trilobite biozones of the Taebaeksan Basin indicate the Joseon supergroup ranges in age from the Cambrian series 2 to Middle Ordovician and can be correlated well with the formations of North China, south China, and Australia.

The below-cloud aerosol scavenging process by precipitation is one of the most important mechanisms to remove aerosols from the *** to its complexity and dependence on both aerosol and raindrop sizes,wet scavenging process has been poorly treated,especially during the removal of fine *** makes the numerical simulation of below-cloud scavenging in large-scale aerosolmodels *** consider the slip effects of submicron particles,a simplified expression for the diffusion scavenging was developed by approximating the Cunningham slip correction *** derived analytic solution was parameterized as a simple power function of rain intensity under the assumption of the lognormal size distribution of *** resultant approximated expression was compared to the observed data and the results of previous studies including a 3D atmospheric chemical transport model *** with the default GEOs-Chem coefficient of 0.00106R0.61 and the observation-based coefficient of 0.0144R0.9268,the coefficient of a and b in∧m=aRb spread in the range of 0.0002-0.1959 for a and 0.3261-0.525 for b over a size distribution of GsD of 1.3–2.5 and a geometric mean diameter of 0.01-2.5μ***,this study showed that the scavenging coefficient varies widely by orders of magnitude according to the size distribution of particles and rain *** study also demonstrated that the obtained simplified expression could consider the theoretical approach of aerosol *** proposed analytic approach showed that results can be effectively applied for reduced computational burden in atmospheric modeling.

Intelligent perception means that with the assistance of artificial intelligence(AI)-motivated brain,flexible sensors achieve the ability of memory,learning,judgment,and reasoning about external information like the human *** to the superiority of machine learning(ML)algorithms in data processing and intelligent recognition,intelligent perception systems possess the ability to match or even surpass human perception ***,the built-in flexible sensors in these systems need to work on dynamic and irregular surfaces,inevitably affecting the precision and fidelity of the acquired *** recent years,the strategy of introducing the developed functional materials and innovative structures into flexible sensors has made some progress toward the above challenges,and with the blessing of ML algorithms,accurate perception and reasoning in various scenarios have been ***,the most representative functional materials and innovative structures for constructing flexible sensors are comprehensively reviewed,the research progress of intelligent perception systems based on flexible sensors and ML algorithms is further summarized,and the intersection of the two is expected to unlock new opportunities for next-stage AI development.

With the aid of FE （finite element） code *** 2005, 2-D coupled thermo-mechanical simulation of center-crack occurrence in round billet during 2-roll rotary rolling process was presented using Oyane ductile fracture criteria. A simple modeling is put forward based on the spiral motion of the workpiece as an essential characteristic in movement. The influence of the feed angle and the entry cone angle of the main roll on the process was taken into account in the modeling. The soundness for simplifying the 3-D rotary rolling into a 2-D problem was discussed. By adopting the parameters of Diescher piercer in 140mm mandrel mill of Bao steel, the distribution and development of strain/stress were analyzed, and the eigen value of ductile fracture as well. The critical percentage of diameter reduction was obtained from the simulation. The result showed a good agreement with the experimental value, and therefore was of widely guiding significance to the practical process for rationally formulating the deformation parameters of steel tube piercing.

Growth of In0.52Al0.48As epilayers on InP (100) substrates by molecular beam epitaxy at a wide range of substrate tempreatures (470~550℃) and at different si doping levels has been carried out. Low temperature photoluminescence (PL) and double-axis X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyses shaw a strong dependence of the PL and XRD linewidths, XRD intensity ratio (Lepi/Isub), and lattice-mismatch on the substrate temperature. The X-ray diffraction peaks of samples grown at law temperatures show a composition of smaller peaks, indicating the presence of disorder due to alloy clustering. Raman scattering measurements of the same samples show an additional higher energy mode at 273 cm-1 in addition to the InAs-like and AlAs-like longitudinal-optic (LO) phonon modes. samples doped with si show an inverted s-shaped dependence of the PL peak energy variation with the temperature which weakens at high doping levels due to a possible reduction in the donor binding energy. supported be observations of a reduction in both the AlAs-like and InAs-like LO phonon frequencies and a broadening of the LO phonon line shape as the doping level is increased, the PL intensity also shows in increasing degrees at higher doping levels, a temperature dependence which is characteristic of disordered and amorphous materials.

hydrogenated silicon carbide films (siC:h) were deposited using the electron cyclotron resonance chemical vapour deposition (ECR-CVD) technique from a mixture of methane, silane and hydrogen, and using diborane and phosphine as doping gases. The effects of changes in the microwave power on the deposition rate and optical bandgap were investigated, and variations in the photoand dark-conductivities and activation energy were studied in conjunction with film analysis using the Raman scattering technique. In the case of boron-doped samples, the conductivity increased rapidly to a maximum, followed by rapid reduction at high microwave power. The ratio of the photo- to dark-conductivity (σph/σd) peaked at microwave power of ~600 W. Under conditions of high microwave power, Raman scattering analysis showed evidence of the formation and increase in the silicon microcrystalline and diamond-like phases in the films, the former of which could account for the rapid increase and the latter the subsequent decrease in the *** the case of phosphorusdoped siC:h samples, it was found that increase in the microwave power has the effect of enhancing the formation of the silicon microcrystalline phase in the films which occurred in correspondence to a rapid increase in the conductivity and reduction in the activation energy The conductivity increase stabilised in samples deposited at microwave power exceeding 500 W probably as a result of dopant saturation. Results from Raman scattering measurements also showed that phosphorus doping had the effect of enhancing the formation of the silicon microcrystals in the film whereas the presence of boron had the effect of preserving the amorphous structure.

The prevalence of obesity among children and adolescents (aged 2–18 years) has increased rapidly, with more than 100 million affected in 2015. Moreover, the epidemic of obesity in this population has been an important public health problem in developed and developing countries for the following reasons. Childhood and adolescent obesity tracks adulthood obesity and has been implicated in many chronic diseases, including type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, childhood and adolescent obesity is linked to adulthood mortality and premature death. Although an imbalance between caloric intake and physical activity is a principal cause of childhood and adolescent obesity, environmental factors are exclusively important for development of obesity among children and adolescents. In addition to genetic and biological factors, socioenvironmental factors, including family, school, community, and national policies, can play a crucial role. The complexity of risk factors for developing obesity among children and adolescents leads to difficulty in treatment for this population. Many interventional trials for childhood and adolescent obesity have been proven ineffective. Therefore, early identification and prevention is the key to control the global epidemic of obesity. Given that the proportion of overweight children and adolescents is far greater than that of obesity, an effective prevention strategy is to focus on overweight youth, who are at high risk for developing obesity. Multifaceted, comprehensive strategies involving behavioral, psychological, and environmental risk factors must also be developed to prevent obesity among children and adolescents.
