In this.p.per, we present a modified minima] model for glucose and insulin kinetics model. The model proposed here is a smooth approximation of the original non-smooth minimal model. The dynamical properties like diss.p.tivity, existence of equilibrium and stability of the system at the equilibrium points are investigated. A linear feedback-based control strategy is studied to control the blood glucose level in the situation where the physical system fails to regulate the blood glucose level automatically. A critical control parameter value kc is determined in terms of the system parameters. Extensive numerical simulation is.p.rformed with different parameter sets. Assuming different values for the feedback gain parameter, ranges of physiological parameter a are determined where the feedback gain is sufficient to stabilize the control system.

By using the ^(3)p_(0) pair creation model,we provide a detailed derivation of the transition matrix for a baryon decaying into a meson-baryon *** analysis was successfully conducted for a meson in[***,***,and ***,***.B 715,322(2012),and we extend the same formalism to the baryon sector,focusing on the △(1232)→πN strong decay width because all hadrons involved in the reaction are very well established,the two hadrons in the final state are stable and require no further analysis,all quarks are light and thus equivalent,and the decay width of the process is relatively well *** a very common Rayleigh-Ritz variational method to solve the 2-and 3-body schodinger bound-state equation in which the hadron's radial wave functions are expanded in terms of a Gaussian basis,we can relate the expression of the invariant matrix element with the mean-square radii of hadrons involved in the *** use their experimental measures in such a way that only the strength of the quark-antiquark pair creation from the vacuum is a free *** is then taken from our previous study on strong decay widths in the meson sector[***,***,and ***,***.B 715,322(2012),and the obtained results are compatible with the experimental results for the calculated △(1232)→πN decay *** requiring the calculation of additional baryon strong decays,a feasible avenue towards a unified description of both baryon and meson strong decay widths within a single constituent quark model framework may be ***,this research has been developed to lay the foundation for a novel raft of applications to exotic hadrons,i.e.,the description of the baryon's coupling to meson-baryon thresholds,one of the mechanisms that is considered to be responsible for providing either a large renormalization to naive states or genuine dynamicallygenerated meson-baryon molecules.

In this study,we have analyzedfluid mobility and thermal transport of the siO_(2)/kerosene nanofluid within two rotating stretchable *** top disk is simulated to be oscil-lating with a periodic velocity and squeezing continuously the nanofluid within a porous me-dium and making thefluid toflow perpendicularly to the situated *** radiation effects are considered in the heat transfer *** non-linear(NL)pDEs that describe the nanofluid mobility structure and thermal transport are transformed into system of NL-ODEs by introducing adequately suitable non-dimensional variables after which the NL-ODEs were numerically solved via spectral quasi-linearization method(sQLM)on over-lapping *** consequences of several pertinent parameters of the model on pressure,tem-perature,velocity,skin drag coefficient and thermal transport rate are examined and elucidated in detail with the aid offigures and *** was found that theflow structure with prescribing conditions develops negative pressure situation which has vast applications in modern day medical engineering,especially in the construction of air pressure stabilizers used in medical isolation and wound therapy physiology.

single-phase diluted magnetic systems Zn1-xFexO have been prepared by chemical route. structural and spectroscopic （UV-Vis and Mossbauer） studies indicate the incorporation of Fe^3＋ ions in the lattice sites. The UV-Vis results.p.int to a systematic increase in the band gap with increasing Fe doping. The room temperature magnetization of Zni-xFexO indicates a paramagnetic behavior which is in accordance with the Mossbauer results, illustrating quadrupolar doublet. At low temperature, the zero-field-cooled （ZFC） magnetization shows a cusp and this temperature increases systematically with decreasing particle size. The weak exchange bias effect manifested by a M-H loop shift is observed for x = 0.03. This shift is accompanied by the enhancement of coercivity. The dc magnetization results suggest the coexis tence of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic exchange interactions for low doping of Fe, i.e., for x = 0.03.

Effect of residual Doppler averaging on the probe absorption in an alkali vapor medium in the presence of a coherent pump beam is studied analytically for the Ξ type system. A coherent probe field is assumed to connect the ground level with the intermediate level whereas a coherent control beam is s.p.osed to act between the intermediate energy level and the uppermost level. Optical Bloch equations（OBE） for a three-level Ξ type system and a four-level Ξ type system are derived by using density matrix formalism. These equations are solved by an analytic method to determine the probe response, which not only depends on the wavelength difference between the control（pump） field and the probe field but shows substantially different features depending on whether the wavelength of the control field is greater than that of the probe field or the reverse. The effect of temperature on probe response is also shown. Enhancement in probe absorption and additional features are noticed under a strong probe limit at room temperature. The four-level Ξ type system has two ground levels and this leads to substantial modification in the simulated probe absorption as compared to the three-level system.

suitable disposal pathways of waste plastics and coal fly ash have yet not been established which is a matter of great envi-ronmental *** low-density polyethylene(LDpE)and high-density polyethylene(HDpE)were degraded using a semi-batch reactor along with acid or alkali modified fly ash *** high yield of liquid fuel product(about 87.24 wt%)was achieved for low-density polyethylene at a polymer and catalyst ratio of 25 w/*** 96%conversion was found with very few amount of gaseous *** of the waste plastics were degraded at 400-450℃.The liquid products were analyzed using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),nuclear magnetic resonance(^(1)H,^(13)C,and DEpT-135 NMR),and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-Ms).Fly ash is an efficient catalyst to degrade waste plastic into light weight liquid(gasoline and kerosene)*** NMR results accompanied by GC-Ms data ensure that obtained fuels contain both aliphatic(saturated and unsaturated)and aromatic *** plastic-to-fuel technology should be commercialized owing to be profitable and eco-friendly.

A near eutectic Al−12.6si alloy was developed with 0.0wt%,2.0wt%,4.0wt%,and 6.0wt%Al−5Ti−1B master *** micro-structural morphology,hardness,tensile strength,elongation,and fracture behaviour of the alloys were *** unmodified Al−12.6si al-loy has an irregular needle and plate-like eutectic silicon(Esi)and coarse polygonal primary silicon(psi)particles in the matrix-likeα-Al *** p_(si),E_(si),andα-Al morphology and volume fraction were changed due to the addition of the Al−5Ti−1B master *** hardness,UTs,and elongation improved due to the microstructural ***-sized in-situ Al3Ti particles and ex-situ TiB_(2)particles caused the mi-crostructural *** fracture images of the developed alloys exhibit a ductile and brittle mode of fracture at the same *** Al−5Ti−1B modified alloys have a more ductile mode of fracture and more dimples compared to the unmodified alloy.
