The soft X-ray Imager(sXI)is part of the scientific payload of the solar wind magnetosphere Ionosphere link explorer(smIle)*** is a joint science mission between the european space Agency(esA)and the chinese Academy of sciences(cAs)and is due for launch in *** is a compact X-ray telescope with a wide field-of-view(FOV)capable of encompassing large portions of earth’s magnetosphere from the vantage point of the smIle *** is sensitive to the soft X-rays produced by the solar Wind charge eXchange(sWcX)process produced when heavy ions of solar wind origin interact with neutral particles in earth’s *** provides a mechanism for boundary detection within the magnetosphere,such as the position of earth’s magnetopause,because the solar wind heavy ions have a very low density in regions of closed magnetic field *** sensitivity of the sXI is such that it can potentially track movements of the magnetopause on timescales of a few minutes and the orbit of smIle will enable such movements to be tracked for segments lasting many *** is led by the University of leicester in the United Kingdom(UK)with collaborating organisations on hardware,software and science support within the UK,europe,china and the United states.

The present study was to evaluate the effect of trace minerals(Zn,mn,and cu)from complexed amino acid minerals(ZmcAA)and bis-glycinate chelated minerals(ZmcGly)in laying hen diets on performance,internal and external egg quality,yolk mineral deposition,intestinal morphometry,and bone *** 78 to 98 weeks of age,400 White lsl-lite strain laying hens were distributed in a randomized design with 4 treatments with 10 replicates per *** were distributed in a 2×2 factorial arrangement using either Zn,mn,and cu of ZmcAA or ZmcGly source at 2 levels:low(20,20,and 3.5 mg/kg of Zn,mn,and cu,respectively)or high(40,40,and 7 mg/kg of Zn,mn,and cu,respectively).The analysis of variance was performed,and in cases where differences were observed,the means were compared using Tukey?s test(Phe source and level of trace mineral supplementation had a significant impact on the performance of laying *** fed ZmcAA had higher egg production(P=0.01),egg weight(P=0.02),egg mass(P=0.01),and lower feed conversion ratio(P=0.05)compared to those fed *** ZmcAA supplementation showed higher albumen height(P=0.01),albumen weight(P=0.01),and eggshell thickness(Phe deposition of Zn(Pmn(Pcu(Phe egg yolk was greater for hens received *** weight(P=0.04)and bone densitometry(Phe tibia were higher with ZmcAA *** the small intestine,ZmcAA resulted in longer villi(P=0.02)and shorter crypt depth(P=0.01)in the *** and ileum measurements were influenced by the level and source of trace minerals(Playing hens fed ZmcAA exhibited superior performance,egg quality,deposition of trace minerals in the egg yolk,and bone density compared to hens fed *** this study,older laying hens supplemented with ZmcAA at lower levels demonstrated adequate levels of supplementation.

In addition to their visible motion such as swimming(e.g.,with the help ofﬂagella),bacteria can also exhibit nanomotion that is detectable only with highly sensitive instruments,and this study shows that it is possible to detect bacterial nanomotion using an AFm detection *** results show that the nanomotion characteristics depend on the bacterial strain,and that nanomotion can be used to sense the metabolic activity of bacteria because the oscillations are sensitive to the food preferences of the bacteria and the type of surrounding medium.

The joint european space Agency and chinese Academy of sciences solar wind magnetosphere Ionosphere link explorer(smIle)mission will explore global dynamics of the magnetosphere under varying solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field conditions,and simultaneously monitor the auroral response of the Northern hemisphere *** these large-scale responses with medium and fine-scale measurements at a variety of cadences by additional ground-based and space-based instruments will enable a much greater scientific impact beyond the original goals of the smIle ***,we describe current community efforts to prepare for smIle,and the benefits and context various experiments that have explicitly expressed support for smIle can offer.A dedicated group of international scientists representing many different experiment types and geographical locations,the Ground-based and Additional science Working Group,is facilitating these *** include constructing an online smIle Data Fusion Facility,the discussion of particular or special modes for experiments such as coherent and incoherent scatter radar,and the consideration of particular observing strategies and spacecraft *** anticipate growing interest and community engagement with the smIle mission,and we welcome novel ideas and insights from the solar-terrestrial community.

This review addresses the growing interest for potassium-ion full-cells(KIFcs)in view of the transition from potassium-ion half-cells(KIhcs)toward commercial K-ion batteries(KIBs).It focuses on the key parameters of KIFcs such as the electrode/electrolyte interfaces challenge,major barriers,and recent advancements in *** strategies for enhancing KIFc performance,including interfaces co ntrol,electrolyte optimization,electrodes capacity ratio,electrode material screening and electrode design,are *** review highlights the need to evaluate KIBs in full-cell configurations as half-cell results are strongly impacted by the K metal *** also emphasizes the importance of understanding solid electrolyte interphase(seI)formation in KIFcs and explores promising nonaqueous as well as quasiand all-solid-state electrolytes *** review thus paves the way for practical,cost-effective,and scalable KIBs as energy storage systems by offering insights and guidance for future research.

motivated by the recent experimental results of branching fractions for ■→■ decays,which deviate from their sm predictions,we hve investigated these decays in W' model and scalar leptoquark model to determine potential signatures of new physics(NP) in semileptonic charm decays induced by c→■ *** recent experimental results of branching fractions for semileptonic D meson decays,new coupling parameters are predicted for the aforementioned NP *** fraction,forward-backward asymmetry,and lepton polarization asymmetry are examined by considering the predicted NP coupling *** results of branching fractions in scalar leptoquark model are found very close to the experimental results and exist around the range of 1σ *** presented a comparative study of the NP models to check their sensitivity on these *** anticipate that further research on these decays will significantly support our findings.
