CaTiO_(3) nano ceramic for NTCR thermistor based sensor application

It is possible to fabricate highly sensitive NTCR(negative temperature coefficient of resistance)thermistor using nano crystalline CaTiO_(3) synthesized by high energy ball *** shaped green pellets were prepared and effects of sintering on the disc pellets were studied as thermistor by sintering the samples at 1000℃,1100℃and 1200℃.The as-prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),impedance analysis and electrical *** resistivity of the prepared samples varies predictably with temperature:this makes them promising material for temperature *** experimental results prove that nano crystalline CaTiO_(3) ceramic is one kind of thermistor with exponential negative temperature coefficient of resistance in the temperature range of 300-500℃.The samples have the advantages of rapid response,high sensitivity and capability to withstand thermal surges over the temperature range of 300-500℃.Resistance-temperature characteristics are described by thermistor equation with thermistor constant around 4003 k to 10795 k and thermal coefficient of resistanceαaround-1%/℃to-13%/℃.The activation energy is in the range of 0.34-0.93 *** observed thermistor parameters are found to be comparable with many of the known thermistor *** suggests that the electrical properties can be adjusted to desirable values by controlling the temperature *** influence of fabrication process of disc thermistor and electrical properties are *** study shows the potential of nano crystalline CaTiO_(3) to act as an NTCR material for thermistor applications.

Lithium titanate(Li_(2)TiO_(3))is one of the most promising candidates among the tritium breeding materials because of its good tritium release *** concentration has much significance on the diffusivity of tritium in the *** nanocrystalline single-phase Li_(2)TiO_(3) with monoclinic structure has been prepared by high energy ball milling followed by calcination at 700℃for 2 *** field emission scanning electron microscopy(FEsEM)studies confirmed uniform distribution of nanocrystalline phase with particle size below 100 *** study of the Li^(+)ion diffusion on the sintered sample was investigated by means of electrical conductivity *** properties of the samples were studied in wide temperature(50-500℃)and frequency(100 Hz-1 MHz)*** complex impedance spectroscopy(CIs)studies showed the presence of both bulk and grain boundary effects in nanocrystalline Li_(2)TiO_(3).The bulk resistance of the samples has been observed to decrease with rise in temperature showing a typical negative temperature coefficient of resistance(NTCR)*** low activation energies of the samples suggested the presence of singly ionized oxygen vacancies in the conduction *** hopping frequency shifted toward higher frequency with increase in *** energy of 0.86 eV was calculated from AC conductivity.

Nanocrystalline calcium titanate(CT)ceramic has been synthesized by a combination of solid-state reaction and high-energy ball *** nano-ceramic is characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),dielectric study and impedance *** XRD pattern shows single phase ceramic of orthorhombic *** frequency-dependent dielectric study shows that the dielectric constant is maximized at low frequencies and decreases with an increase in *** spectroscopy analyses reveal a non-Debye type relaxation phenomenon.A significant shift in impedance loss peaks toward the higher-frequency side indicates conduction in the material favoring the long-range motion of mobile charge *** grain conduction effect is observed from the complex impedance spectrum by the appearance of one semicircular arc in Nyquist *** is also observed that the resistance decreases with an increase in temperature showing a negative temperature coefficient of resistance(NTCR).Various thermistor parameters have been calculated by fitting with steinhart-Hart *** modulus plots represent the presence of temperature-dependent electrical relaxation phenomenon with the *** frequency-dependent AC conductivity at different temperatures indicates that the conduction process is thermally *** activation energy has been calculated from an Arrhenius plot of DC conductivity and relaxation frequency.

Autism spectrum Disorder (AsD) is a developmental disorderwhose symptoms become noticeable in early years of the age though it canbe present in any age group. AsD is a mental disorder which affects the communicational, social and non-verbal behaviors. It cannot be cured completelybut can be reduced if detected early. An early diagnosis is hampered by thevariation and severity of AsD symptoms as well as having symptoms commonly seen in other mental disorders as well. Nowadays, with the emergenceof deep learning approaches in various fields, medical experts can be assistedin early diagnosis of AsD. It is very difficult for a practitioner to identifyand concentrate on the major feature’s leading to the accurate prediction ofthe AsD and this arises the need for having an automated approach. Also,presence of different symptoms of AsD traits amongst toddlers directs tothe creation of a large feature dataset. In this study, we propose a hybridapproach comprising of both, deep learning and Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) to find the most contributing features for the early and preciseprediction of AsD. The proposed framework gives more accurate predictionalong with the recommendations of predicted results which will be a vital aidclinically for better and early prediction of AsD traits amongst toddlers.

Relation between solar Wind Parameter and Geomagnetic storm Condition during Cycle-23

In the present paper dependence of geomagnetic activity on the solar-wind plasma and interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) parameters has been studied. We have taken interplanetary solar wind data at the instant of Dst minimum. Our study consists of 200 geomagnetic storms weighed by disturbance storm time (Dst) -50 nT, observed during solar cycle 23. The study suggests that the strength of the geomagnetic storm is strongly dependent on the total magnetic field Btotal. The correlation (-0.72) has been found reasonable. In perspective of previous studies, the strength of the geomagnetic storm is strongly dependent on the southward component (Bz) whereas in present study exposes that the correlation (0.22) is weak. This result indicates that solar wind southward magnetic field component Bz has significant growth particularly before the main phase of geomagnetic storm (not during the main phase). The present result implies that neither density nor temperature is significantly related to the variation of geomagnetic disturbance;rather the effects of the pressure and speed. However, a low plasma beta during highly geoeffective event seems to be an important criterion.

silver particulate thin films on softened polymer blends of Polystyrene (Ps)/Poly(2-vinyl pyridine) (P2VP), Ps/Poly(4-vinylpyridine) (P4VP), and Poly(vinylpyrollidone) (PVP)/P4VP at a rate of 0.4 nm/s held at a temperature of 457 k in vacuum of 8 × 10-6 Torr by evaporation are deposited. These silver films were characterized by their electrical behavior, optical properties and scanning electron microscopy (sEM). silver films deposited on softened Ps, and PVP give rise to a very high room temperature resistance approaching that of the substrate resistance due to the formation of a highly agglomerated structure. On the other hand, silver films on softened P2VP and P4VP give rise to a room temperature resistance in the range of tens to a few hundred MΩ/ which is desirable for device applications. silver films on the composites of Ps/P2VP, Ps/P4VP and PVP/P4VP show resistances at room temperature. The optical and plasmonic response of Ag nanoparticles onto thin layers of blends shows encapsulation of nanoparticles. The electrical properties and sEM of silver nanoparticles on the thin layers of polymer blends indicate the formation of much smaller, narrower dispersion and wide size distribution.

Heavy metal contamination of soil resulting from sewage irrigation is a cause of serious concern due to the potential health impacts of consuming contaminated products. In this study an assessment made of the impact of sewage irrigation on heavy metal contamination of spinach, Cabbage, Beetroot, Reddish, Okra, Tomato, and Cucumber is widely cultivated and consumed in urban India, particularly by the poor. A field study was conducted at seven major sites that were irrigated by either treated, (Dhandupura) or untreated wastewater in the suburban areas of Agra, India. samples of irrigation water, soil, and the edible portion of all the vegetables were collected monthly during the winter seasons and were analyzed for Fe, Cd, Cu, Zn, and Pb. Heavy metals in irrigation water were below the internationally recom- mended (WHO) maximum permissible limits set for agricultural use for all heavy metals except Cd at all the sites. similarly, the mean heavy metal concentrations in soil were below the Indian standards for all heavy metals, but the maximum value of Cd recorded during January was higher than the standard. However, in the edible portion of spinach, the Cd concentration was higher than the permissible limits of the Indian standard during summer, whereas Pb concentrations were higher in winter seasons. Results of correlation analysis were computed to assess the relationship between individual heavy metal concentration in the vegetable samples. The study concludes that the use of treated and untreated wastewater for irrigation has increased the contamination of Cd, Pb in edible portion of vegetables causing potential health risk in the long term from this practice. The study also points to the fact that adherence to standards for heavy metal contamination of soil and irrigation water does not ensure safe food. Fe was measured abundant in soil whereas Pb and Cd were found more in untreated sites as compared to treated site. Correlation, paired T-test and ANOVA were also
